The fact that the woman merchant seemed to be entirely ignoring the fact that she seemed to be on the brink of a nervous breakdown certainly helped Cynth to remain calm. She listened politely as the other woman replied; thankfully, it seemed that what she needed was in stock.
Cynth didn't have the focus or energy to spend on trying to calculate if she was getting a fair deal or not- but she knew she had at least that many tokens saved up.
"Sounds great," she agreed, her tone lacking a bit in enthusiasm as she was still struggling to contain and evaluate her emotions. She fished through her bag, leaning on the stand to support her weight as she counted out the tokens necessary. As she finished, she pushed the pile of currency toward the shopkeeper and gave her a small smile of appreciation.
This was it. She was leaving. Everything she owned could fit into this one raggedy bag and her pockets... she was taking it all and going.
