[You found a vein!]
Seeing the paras come scittering over to them, the cleffa and spinda focused their attention toward the bug. He waved as he began to speak. The panda was glad to chat it up but the cleffa wasn’t so sure about him. Why were the humans still here? The fighting was over and they were able to collect the pieces of wall rock.
Lancet expressed how glad he was that the fighting was finished. The tiny fairy could agree seeing as how she wasn’t exactly a fan of battles. It appeared as if neither was the bug yet he still did so. Though to be fair, the humans and their pokemon only put the group to sleep so it wasn’t as violent as it could have been.
She smiled at the friendly paras. “Yes, thank you for handling things the way you did. I appreciate minimal fighting, even if they deserved what was coming to them,” she replied. “There are just better ways, you know?” Meanwhile the spinda shrugged his shoulders. It didn’t matter to him why they handled those fighters or if they didn’t at all.
It could be pretty clear at this point that the fighting types were not waking anytime soon. The geodude would flee as they woke and would not disturb the humans. The sawk and throh would not continue fighting if they woke either. It was best for them to run if they did. Arshia and Cecilia were able to mine away.
While they would mine, the cleffa and spinda would stick around. They didn’t want to be in the narrow tunnels when the other pokemon woke. They were worried about being attacked or possibly killed. Other humans could be in these tunnels that weren’t so friendly, so they’d wait for the two human women and their pokemon until they were ready to leave.

It's just my befriending/capture attempts left, so I won't be offended if you don't want to reply. If you would like to, by all means - but feel free to skip if you don't feel like you have enough to reply to!
A RequestAs the woman spoke before starting the task, Gem was patient in listening. It was positive that the woman was thinking smart about the only temporary effects of the spell of sleep. Preparing by returning the mime who might distract her from getting it done was likely a good call - Not knowing the pokemon well herself, she was forced to simply trust Cecilia's judgment on the matter. And given the situation and impressions up until now, she felt that it was a good move to trust this woman with judging and controlling her own pokemon. She seemed worthy of it so far. With that, they moved quickly, getting the geodudes off to the side so they could escape once they regained consciousness.
Same as her partner, she was pulling out the equipment given to her before heading into this tunnel, preparing herself for the task ahead. Before getting started though, she set the pickax against the wall and headed to the cleffa and spinda, sitting on the balls of her feet once she was close. "It's going to be a bit loud for a moment, as we harvest. Please don't be troubled by the noise. We will be as quick as possible." She spared a glance at the paras, hoping he could translate as needed. She also looked at Trocar as well, making sure he understood the warning was for him as well. The paras didn't seem to be the brightest, and certainly didn't understand most of her language, but there were a couple words he could pick up on to translate to the others.
The paras perked up at the positive feedback from the fairy. He was glad to see she seemed a little more warm to them now. "Yeah! Give them a quick one-two to teach them to be better and then leave them to rest and get better! Hopefully they are much nicer from now on!" One of the mushrooms twitched subtly, though full control wasn't being exerted at the moment, so the bug didn't even notice. Then the human came over and started speaking, her voice low and firm as she reassured them. He tried to make out what she was saying. Humans were so hard to understand. "I think she's just letting us know they are going to do something, and it might be loud. Yeah, I think one of those sounds means loud. But that might mean they are almost done and ready to leave."
With that statement issued, hoping the two pokemon wouldn't be too bothered or unsettled by the noise, she returned the few steps over to Cecilia and the vein. The other woman was starting, and so she joined in, drawing the pickax over her shoulder and swinging it down. The sharp edge of the tool crashed into the earth, digging and resounding a definitive clacking noise. She was soon in a rhythm, and it wasn't long before the pieces of untouched metal was on the ground, raw and natural as they were. Drawing cloth from her bag, she wrapped it around some of the metal, move pieces in while touching them minimally. Such raw ore directly to the skin could have unknown side effects, so she was sure to have cloth between her hand and the ore while harvesting it.
With the task complete, there was only one thing left to do before they could leave this place, successful in the mission they'd been given. Wrapping and tying the cloth off around her share of the metal to carry, trying to parse it evenly between them so they were both carrying a similar amount, she left the bundled metal on the ground for the moment. Trocar was standing off to the side, pleased that the annoying sounds were over with. He still wasn't sure what was going on, but he didn't feel like asking the human's number one fanboy over there what was going on. And all the others here were unknown, and he wasn't sure he trusted any of them yet.
The woman sat back on her heels once more, having made her way back over to the duo of wild pokemon. It was now or never - she needed to see if she could convince the cleffa to come with her out of this mountain. She was a curious specimen that the woman deeply wanted to study, and she would treat the pokemon well so long as she was able to observe and take note on the creature. And, true to her previous thoughts, she felt the best chance she had at convincing her to come along would be to invite both her and the bear, whom she appeared to share a gentle bond with. She sincerely hoped the pokemon would agree, so she wouldn't even have to consider trying forced capture on the fairy.
"We will be leaving this place now, however I want to invite the both of you out." She spared a look at Lancet, to indicate she might need him to talk with her or translate. Hopefully he picked up on it as her attention returned to the duo. "This place is clearly dangerous, and I'd hate to see the both of you fall prey to the reckless nature of others living here." Which wasn't untrue - though her reasoning was simply that it was better to study them alive than dead. While a great deal of information could be gained from studying a corpse, a corpse would only last so long. She preferred the long term.
"If you come with me, I'll see to it you are protected and well fed. We will see many places together, and you won't have to worry about your safety each passing day. And, the two of you could remain together as well. Will you join us?" Her voice was calm, and a bit softer than usual. She hoped her purpose and words would come across, relying on the paras to help get the meaning. He heard some of it, but hesitated a moment, processing the information. It was quite a few words to piece together, and he wasn't the best at understanding her quickly. With a few more seconds to process though, he was normally able to get the gist of it.
And when he did, he perked up a bit in excitement. More friends! He liked friends. "Oh yeah, be our friends! She wants to see if you guys will come with us. She's really good about making sure we're safe and well-fed. Plus she has all this cool stuff that makes you feel better if you ever get hurt, and the place we live has walls and a ceiling that protect from weather and others. Kinda like this place, but smaller and without all the wild creatures lurking around. It's pretty great. We are on a trip away from that, but that place is warm and near a huge amount of water which is cool. You guys should definitely come with us! It would be really cool!" The animated bug was moving his pincers in joy as he worked through the words, thoroughly enjoying the idea of having these two become more permanent friends and be around. They'd certainly be more fun to talk to than the other two. Trocar simply observed for now. He didn't understand much of the human language, but much as he didn't like the human he couldn't protest. She tended to any injuries, kept him fed, and helped him train. While he didn't enjoy that he was trapped in this life, he couldn't say that the paras' statements were untrue, specifically since they were being invited and not forced to come along.
