Welcome

Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new world, and give it purpose.

Events

Terrene continues to heat
up, both in temperature and in conflict. Beta is asking for spies to infiltrate Omega's camp, while Dentelle simply wants to inquire after the scientist's progress. Later in the season, Beta is hosting his annual crater city tournament, where people can test their Pokemon and their leadership and strategies against one another.

Season

Summer will be here until
September. The heat of summer is here in full force, as well as the accompanying summer thunderstorms. Bug, electric, and fire types all thrive while others wilt under these conditions.

The word about the Winter Festival in Crater City spread fast even among rather newly arrived immigrants like Sonia. When she got to Crater, she hardly considered herself that much of a fresh arrival anymore, but she was sill longing for a cheerful occasion - the everyday struggle of trying to survive didn't quite put her in a jolly mood. She couldn't wait for the Winter Festival.

As the brunette stepped into the fair area, she took a deep breathe of the chilly air. A thin layer of snow had been cracking under her feet as she walked, most of it had been shoveled to the sides. It was still morning, the sun was still shining and people were gathering at the event area. A satisfied smile appeared on Sonia's face, below her rosy cheeks. She loved the peaceful atmosphere, away from the dangerous wilds of Terrene.

She couldn't help but notice her Pokémon's interest in the snow. Kaname was stepping lightly, grimacing at the cold carpet of white. He wasn't appreciating it and started to envy Sonia for having boots. Bebe, on the other hand, was in the merriest of moods. She had never seen snow before and she loved it. Sonia was letting her walk around freely and the Rattata went ahead to play, digging in the snow, brushing it with her tail and even drawing unreadable shapes in it.

"You two seem to be enjoying this. Isn't this place the prettiest?" Sonia asked cheerfully, patting Kaname's head. The Sylveon was standing uncomfortably, unwilling to sit down on the cold ground. Meanwhile, the Rattata was digging in a mound of snow. The trainer grinned, quietly approaching her. "It's funny, I don't remember much of my homeland, but I'm sure I've seen snow before. And you know what you can do with snow, Bebe?"

The Rattata stopped her important task to look up at Sonia as she heard her name. The woman grabbed a handful of snow, grateful for her woolen gloves, and carefully put together a ball. The rat's eyes sparkled with curiosity as the trainer aimed and tossed it at a tree a few meters away from them. Eager to try, Bebe scooped a tiny bit of snow with her paws, trying to mimic Sonia, and then tried to sweep her attempt at a snowball towards Kaname. But the tiny rat hands weren't the most skilled at building and the snowball felt apart immediately, only a piece of the snowy mess reaching the Sylveon's side. He jumped in surprise as his two companions giggled. Kaname shivered as he glared at Bebe, identifying her as the culprit.

"Oh, I see, so this is how you want it, Bebe," despite his discomfort, he put on a smile as he spoke with a playful tone. One couldn't stay mad at the tiny Pokémon. One of his ribbons dug into the snow mound, before he pushed it down towards the Rattata. Bebe squeaked and ran off, heading towards another gathering of snow. It was war time! She began kicking snow towards Kaname, who counterattacked immediately.

"Well, this isn't much of a snow ball fight," Sonia commented to herself, stepping back to let the two Pokémon play.

Cecilia had finally made it to Crater City. She's hitched a ride with a group of other travelers from Forest Beach Village who were coming for the Winter Festival in order to save on travel time and supplies. As usual, the other villagers had kindly ensured that Cecilia had appropriate clothes for the occasion. She was gradually finding her own place in the village and learning to contribute in simple ways. She was proudly packing a cold-weather arsenal that consisted of a hat, scarf, and mitten set that she'd managed to knit herself. They looked abnormally lumpy, betraying the inexperience of the crafter, but they served their function perfectly well. The coat had been a hand-me-down and was a touch too small for the long-legged and broad-shouldered Cecilia, but she couldn't exactly complain about a free coat.

The city itself was beautiful. White snow glistened off the overlooking hills and the town was decorated with bells and merry red ribbons. It all felt strangely nostalgic, and she wondered if a place like this had existed once in her previous world and life. The city was much more cramped and crowded than Forest Beach Village was, however. Even though everyone seemed jolly enough, there was a coldness to the solid brick buildings.

Vendors all over were selling delicious bits of holiday food. Cecilia made a small meal of the free samples they were giving out, making an effort to try everything and sharing it all with her Mr. Mime. Of Cecilia's pokemon, Sugar was the only one who didn't mind the cold. If anything, Sugar was having the time of her life. The empathetic fairy side of her brain couldn't get enough of this joyous atmosphere. Cecilia led the little clown pokemon by the hand both to keep her from wandering off and to prevent her from getting over-excited and creating unwanted barriers everywhere. The last thing they wanted was to make a big scene here at the festival. Cecilia hadn't met the man yet, but she'd heard that the fellow who ran this place was a big stickler for law and order. He didn't sound like the sort to easily forgive naughty pokemon behavior at his carefully planned celebration.

Having no particular place to go, Cecilia allowed Sugar to lead the way. She smiled patiently at the pokemon's euphoric face as she practically skilled through the fair, following the feelings of fun and good cheer. Eventually, these feelings led Sugar to a young woman and her two pokemon. The seemed to be playing in the snow, and Sugar tugged insistently on Cecilia's hand to indicate that they should join as well.

Cecilia stopped for a moment as she recognized the girl. She's seen this girl and her pretty pink and white pokemon at the Anniversary Fair. It had been brief as they'd been attacked by some disruptive insects, and Cecilia had never learned the girl's name. Maybe this time they'd have more time to become acquainted. It would be polite to say "hello" but it seemed like this occasion called for a little less formality and a little more throwing snow.

Grinning mischievously to herself, Cecilia crouched down and formed a ball of snow with her mittened hands. "Sugar, come and help me. Do just like I do, okay?" Cecilia whispered to her pokemon. Sugar was the most intelligent of Cece's group and had a rather good grasp of human speech and behavior. Her telepathy and empathy were still developing and she was still quite young. Even so, it didn't take much to recognize what the playful glint in her trainer's eyes must mean. Obediently, Sugar bend and easily formed a ball of snow in her large hands.

Thus armed, Cecilia and her pokemon took aim. There wasn't much as far as cover in the open field of snow, but the other trainer looked distracted and would hopefully be surprised. "You go for the pokemon, okay?" Cecilia whispered, pointing out the Sylveon and the Rattata tossing snow about nearby. "Let's teach them how it's done!" Sugar snickered, feeling her trainer's eagerness as if it were her own. "Now, Sugar! Attack!"

And with this war-cry, snowballs flew through the air towards Sonia and Kaname.

Distracted by the endearing display of her own Pokémon, Sonia wasn't paying much attention to her surroundings. It was amusing to see that even Kaname, who was normally serious and sophisticated, allowed himself some jolly playtime. Surely, he was doing it for Bebe's sake. Still, neither of her Pokémon could actually form a decent snowball, so they just continued kicking snow at each other. Sonia decided not to join in and let them have their fun.

She was completely off guard. When an actual decent-quality snowball came flying her way, she didn't notice it, only it crushed into her white woolen jacket. The woman jumped in shock. She was under attack! She spun around and located her attackers - another woman and a humanoid Pokémon by her side, both smiling mischievously. Sonia returned the grin. Finally a worthy challenger has appeared!

The brunette retreated to find safety behind a snow mound. As she crouched down to avoid more shots, she found herself reunited with her Pokémon - the sudden snowball assault had caught them as well. Bebe was a harder target due to her size, but Kaname must had gotten hit - Sonia could see it both from the snow leftovers all over him, as well as his focused expression. Good. Just like her, he was determined to get revenge.

"This isn't over! Prepare yourselves!" Sonia called out dramatically, grabbing a handful of the omnipresent white ammunition. Kaname followed her example, trying hard to build a ball with the use of his ribbons... but the cold touch was getting to him. He groaned, building another messy shape. He stared at it with confusion. Building was one thing, but how was he supposed to throw it? His feelers weren't the most dexterous.

"I've got this! Kaname, you build more. I throw. Bebe..." Sonia turned to her small assistant, whose tail was swiping left and right in excitement. "Bebe... Go distract them!"

The Rattata waited no further. She jumped out of their hideout, landing in the open, vulnerable to more snowball hits. But she wasn't just going to stand there! She ran around, making the best use of her speed and size, hoping to confuse the opponents and have them throw snowballs at her - and that she could dodge whatever comes at her.

Following that, Sonia stood up and emerged from her safe haven, with snowballs in her hands. It was a time-sensitive strategy. She couldn't delay. Without much time to take proper aim, she began tossing them in the general direction of the other woman and her Mr. Mime, while Kaname continued working on the war supplies.

As she finally took a bit of a glance at the attackers, Sonia had a feeling that she had seen that other trainer somewhere... But this was not the time to worry about. This was war!

The younger woman took cover behind a large mound of snow, and Cecilia and Sugar took the opportunity to fire a few free shots at the wily little rattata. Still, Cece couldn't help feeling that this was a sort of trap. What was the girl and her sylveon doing while they were hiding?

The answer was soon made apparent as Sonia came out, fully loaded with ammunition and began relentlessly peppering them at Cecilia and her pokemon. "Ah!" Cecilia cried out, her yell muffled by a mouthful of snow. "Miiiime!" Sugar was similarly distressed as the snowballs rained down on them like a soft white fury attack.

It was really just instinct that made Cecilia hold up her hands palms out but Sugar saw and responded to the visual cue even without her trainer giving a verbal command. The psychic fairy furrowed her brow in concentration and did the same, but she made the tips of her fingers vibrate to solidify the air directly in front of herself and her trainer. She was using her Barrier attack to shield them from oncoming onslaught. The last of Sonia's snowballs smashed harmlessly against the invisible wall.

"Ha!" Cecilia said, spitting out snow and standing victoriously with her hands on her hips. "Do your worst! My Sugar loves doing this trick!" She was purposely trying to provoke them. The barrier would shield her and her pokemon for a bit. The barrier would eventually be overcome with enough force or when Sugar became distracted or tired of holding it. It would, however, buy Cecilia time to build and store up ammunition as Sonia had done. The downside was that the barrier worked both ways. Cecilia would need Sugar to drop it if she wanted to attack from where she was. Her hope was that Sonia and her team would waste time being confused and trying to find a way around the barrier, leaving them open and unaware whenever Cecilia and Sugar were ready to resume their attack.

Bebe was hoping to avoid any attacks, but even her tiny size and high speed, seemingly perfect for dodging, were not enough to keep her safe from the snowball rain. A few of the bullets tossed by the other woman and her Mr. Mime crashed into the Rattata, stunning her each time and even sending her rolling back once - she wasn't much bigger than an average snowball, after all. But she tried her best not to give up and continued zigzagging, even if the taken damage had slowed her down.

Regardless of how Bebe was doing, the distraction was successful. Sonia was more than happy to start her own snowball storm, quickly fixing each piece of ammunition that had been sloppily put together by Kaname. The Sylveon continued his thankless task, humming with frustration when the snowballs fell apart now and then, but not saying anything. He could sense that Sonia was having fun and that lifted his spirits up as well.

The brunette's expression froze in surprise when some of her last snowballs stopped and fell apart before reaching their targets. As if there was some invisible wall separating them. Was it the Pokémon's doing? According to the taunt, it was, but how did it work exactly? With a frown, she hesitantly threw another one, but it was met with the same fate. Her frown only deepened, but she was not giving up. Whatever that shield was, it had to have an end somewhere. The last three or four snowballs that she had, before she would have to wait to make more, weren't aimed at the other trainer and her Pokémon partner directly - instead, Sonia tossed it a little off to the sides and higher up, trying out this neat technique of theirs.

"Bebe, retreat! Regroup and prepare to strike!" Sonia commanded as she was tossing the last snowballs. The Rattata wasn't quite sure about the meaning of these words, they weren't ones her trainer usually used, but she could tell that it was time to hide back into safety. She jumped over the snow mound, which was unstable in the first place and was starting to fall apart, to meet with her trainer and Kaname.

Whether she had managed to successfully to test the barrier's limits or not, Sonia eventually ducked. Kaname used the moment of confusion to get a break from making ammunition. The trainer absentmindedly worked on reinforcing their fortress, sweeping the snow from their surroundings and stabilizing the snow mound, trying to turn in more into an actual wall. With a focus expression, she was thinking of a new strategy. A barrier... And it seemed like they stopped their attack too, for the time being...

It was time to make use of Bebe's size and agility again. She was not only a good distraction, but she could also do as a spy... Sonia smirked. "Bebe, this time we distract them! You go around and attack from the back! Um, try to go behind that tree," she pointed at one, a few feet away from them and on their side of the battlefield. Then she moved her finger in a circle, hoping the Rattata would know what she meant. "Then find another, closer to them. Then go from behind and... Uhh, get snow in their shoes! Something!"

Did that clown Pokémon have shoes? She wasn't sure. But at least the human would. It was a risky plan, but it was all in good fun. At the very least, they would be surprise to see Bebe on their side and maybe she could use the momentum to strike with full force! If the Rattata managed to get across undetected, of course.

Bebe's expression showed some hesitation, but Sonia assured her, "This is very important! I'm counting on you, Bebe!" Then the rat nodded, preparing to dash. Then the trainer stood up again, with a hastily put together snowball in hand. Regardless of the barrier, she tossed it right at the opponents, then proceeded to make another snowball, still in plain sight, hoping that they would be too focused on her reckless actions to notice the small rat sneaking out on the side and running for the tree.

Cecilia and Sugar were both pretty happy with the way their plan was going. Cecilia managed to shore up a small bank of snow. It wasn't as high as the one that the other trainer was using, but it would be better than nothing whenever Sugar dropped her barrier. Cecilia sang a joyful little carol while she built up snowballs and kept one eye on the battlefield. Sugar joined in, though to human ears it sounded like she was simply singing her own species over and over again.

Cecilia heard a cry of warning in her head in a voice that clearly wasn't her own. Startled, she sat straight up and saw Sugar staring at her. The pokemon must have been trying to use her telepathy. Telepathy was something that Cecilia had heard about psychic pokemon using but had no real experience with. Sugar didn't seem to be using actual words, but using any telepathy at all seemed a step in a good direction. There must have been something important that she wanted Cecilia to know about.

That was when she saw the little rattata making its way around the barrier, moving swiftly from tree to tree. Huh, clever. Cecilia had been so focused on her own building project an the trainer in front of her still tossing snowballs that she hadn't paid much attention to the tiny rodent. She might have missed it entirely without Sugar's warning, but now that she'd seen the pokemon it seemed a bit obvious. It was a dark purple against the glittering white of the fresh snow, after all.

What was the little pokemon doing all by itself anyway? It was so cute that a part of Cecilia couldn't help envying the other woman some. It wasn't that her own pokemon weren't adorable in their own way but they were comparatively big and not very cuddly. She decided that maybe it would be fun to just pretend she didn't see the rattata and let it continue. What was a tiny pokemon like that going to do anyway?

Sonia's snowballs could flying over the battlefield, rather pointlessly - if it wasn't for the small distraction from Bebe that they were creating. She eventually withdrew, ducking again to hide behind the mound of snow that had been her fortress. Kaname was still there, safely sitting in his hideout, with only the cold snow beneath him disturbing his peace. He analyzed Sonia’s face, now that it was a little closer to his level. Her cheeks had turned pink, partially from the cold and partially from the jolly physical effort. With a wide smile, it was clear that she was having fun. The Sylveon nuzzled against her arm affectionately. He wasn’t too willing to take part in this game, but he was delighted to see Sonia having fun.

Meanwhile, Bebe managed to successfully proceed with her plan. She was too focused on her mission to realize that she had been spotted by the other trainer, so she chose to believe that she was doing great and was completely unseen. Her smile only widened, further showing off her sharp teeth. When she finally approached the other woman and her humanoid Pokémon, she stopped to wonder about what she needed to do next. Sonia had been saying some words, but the little Rattata wasn’t unable to understand them all. From the pointing and some familiar words, she had figured out she was supposed to go around… She shrugged, before turning around, facing the other trainer’s with her tail, then proceeded to kick the snow with her hind paws. The game was all about getting snow on one another, so she thought she had to be doing well. She giggled joyfully as she was sending more and more snow at Cecilia’s feed.

Sonia could only assume that Bebe had reached her location. She peeked out and saw the purple shape close to the opposing team, so she hid again, chuckling victoriously. Then she called out, ”How do you like my special agent?”

Everything was cold. It was also too cheery for Vertigo's tastes, even as she glanced around the area with a mild look of distaste on her pale features. Smiles littered everyone's faces, eyes glowing with happiness. Many of the people were merrily singing in voices that generally would not sound very good in a choir.

The dark-haired young woman found herself scowling and lurking around the edges of the festival, ignoring Trouble's attempts to drag the skinny woman into having at least some fun. Admittedly, Vertigo was all too happy to remain a grump while everyone would either burst out into song or try to get others to join in the various carols that everyone was singing.

Ugh.

It was utterly nauseating to the young woman, who seemed to shrink even more of herself as the little white Pokemon attempted to shove her into interacting with others. "Stop it!" she grumbled, protesting the movement again by remaining stubbornly still. At least, that was until something white and slushy smashed into the side of her face with intense force.

Vertigo found herself stiff in shock, dark eyes wide in surprise as she tried to track where the ball had come from. Her eyes narrowed in on a group of Pokemon and a couple of humans who were trying to murder each other with tightly packed balls of snow. "Well." she started dryly, bending down and scooping some of the chilly powdery stuff into her hands. Tightly packing it into a ball, she bounced it lightly in her hands and considered the fight in front of her.

"Want to help me, Trouble?" she inquired lightly as she bent down and made some more balls. Then she launched the first of her snow-balls, engaging into the fight entirely on her own volition.

Let's make this a war, she thought mischievously.

Another trainer appeared to have joined the fray, and that could become a problem since Sugar's dedication to her barrier seemed to be wavering. Cecilia saw the Mr. Mime watching the others in envy. Sugar wanted to be throwing snow like everyone else, and she couldn't do that with her palms up. Before the barrier came down though, the little rattata succeeded in running up to Cecilia.

The woman smiled at the tiny baby pokemon. "Hey there, cutie," she cooed. "What are you up to, honey?" Cecilia bent her knees and leaned down so that she wasn't towering over the purple pokemon. This turned out to be a mistake. When the rattata turned around and began throwing up snow with her whipping tail, it didn't just get Cecilia's face. It flew into her face as well. Cecilia cried out in surprise as fluffy freezing snow coated her face and hair.

This was is it for Sugar's attention span. The Mr. Mime dropped her barrier entirely and instead made a snowball with her great big hands and ran to her trainer's rescue. She began pelting balls of snow at Bebe but now she and Cecilia were open to attack from both of the other trainers.

All of a sudden, another front joined the snowball war. Sonia saw that both her original opponent and her Pokémon turned their attention to something close to them and then she heard a series of high-pitched squeaks, put together in a laughing sound. Had they gotten Bebe? The trainer ducked behind the snow mound to avoid attacks of the newcomer, but she had to act fast. Her secret agent had been captured!

Bebe rolled onto her back helplessly, taking in more of the snowy attacks and wiggling to the sides, with her eyes closed and her mouth in a wide smile. As more and more snowballs struck her from up close, she continued giggling in defeat and rolling in the snowy mess. "Bebe give up, Bebe give up!"

Sonia was coming to her rescue, dashing across the battlefield with her head kept low and hands over her ears, trying to shield herself from the other brunette's attacks. "We surrender!"

She could only hope that the newest battler would focus on her first target and her Mr. Mime. She caught up with the one who was attacking Bebe, turning her back against any oncoming attacks, if her declaration of surrender wasn't enough to stop the other one. "Phew! You have something of mine, don't you? The name's Sonia. Mine, I mean, not the little one's. That one is Bebe."

The younger trainer ran up and declared surrender but Sugar had already paused her attack. Seeing the little rattata squirming on her back and admitting defeat, Sugar would never be so cruel as to persist. Cecilia tried to wipe at the snow on her face with her gloved hands, then tried to give to naughty baby pokemon an indignant look. Neither worked very well. Bits of white clung to her hair and eyelashes, and she couldn't stop grinning at the adorable rattata.

"Oh, I guess you can have her back," Cecilia said. "But I mean, if you really want her. I don't mind keeping her." Cecillia gave both of the other trainers welcoming smiles. They'd had a good time together, and there was nothing like a little spirited merriment to break the ice. "My name is Cecilia. It's been good to meet a few other girls who aren't afraid of a little cold. I'm from Forest Beach Village, if you ever visit there."

"Mister Mime! Mister Mime!" Sugar sang, waving both of her hands excitedly at the other trainers and their pokemon.

"And this is Sugar. She's enjoyed our time here too."

"We surrender!" came a laughing voice from within all of the snow being thrown about. A slight smirk spread across Vertigo's face as she threw another snowball in a random direction. At her feet, the Aron was making even more ammunition for the young woman to make. It was slightly surprising to feel a little disappointment as the others stopped throwing snow. Combing a few white specks out of her short pixie hair, the tall young woman approached the two, slightly startled to find that she was taller than them by at least a foot.

Trouble trotted up to her ankles, his white metal making him nearly invisible against the cold snow, if not for the dark holes in both his helmet and back. Blinking slightly at Cecilia's introduction, she mentally noted that this woman was also at Forest Beach. "Well," she started slightly reluctantly. It wasn't that she wasn't used to talking to other people, but Vertigo rarely socialized outside of things that she needed to do out of necessity. "I'm Vertigo. This is Trouble," she gestured at the Aron at her feet.

Her eyes glinted as she turned to Cecilia. "I'm in Forest Beach as well," she continued, interjecting a cheery note in her voice. Admittedly, playing in the snow had loosened something in Vertigo's chest, easing at the loneliness that ached her. Sure, Trouble's company helped slightly, but he wasn't someone who she could regularly converse with. Inasmuch, she was feeling rather... playful. It was disturbing that she was getting rather high off of this emotion. "It's.. nice to meet you two." she choked out uncertainly.

Sonia quickly scooped Bebe up with her arms, wrapping the Rattata in a tight, warm embrace and beginning to brush the remaining snow off her. She chuckled nervously as the woman who introduced herself as Cecilia joked about keeping her. It was a joke, Sonia was well aware, but the thought of giving Bebe away was just too scary.

They were soon joined by the other woman and her Pokémon - Sonia barely noticed that short, armored Pokémon. Seeing that no more cold balls of snow were being tossed around, her Sylveon joined them as well, treading carefully on the white surface and staying hidden behind Sonia's legs. The trainer took mental notes of the others' names. At least their Pokémon's names were easy to remember and she judged that only one of them was fitting... Actually, was "Trouble" the Pokémon's actual nickname or was she just stating that it was trouble? Sonia decided not to inquire, for the time being.

"Forest Beach Village? That sounds... Warm and sunny," Sonia commented dreamily. "I'm jealous because I haven't even been there! I'm from Ashfield myself and the name's Sonia. This little one is Bebe and this one is called Kaname."

The Sylveon nodded his head in response to being introduced, with an uncomfortable grimace on his face. He wasn't trying to be impolite, but playing in the snow really wasn't his favorite hobby and he couldn't hide his discomfort.

"We should hang out more. I'm sure my Pokémon would be delighted, too," Sonia added cheerfully, oblivious to Kaname cringing behind her back. "Well... Bebe's gotten all wet from all the snow, so I should probably get her somewhere warm. Warmer, at least. I don't want her to catch a cold."

She regretted having to end their little game and as Bebe was looking curiously at the other Pokémon, her tail wagging joyfully, she could tell that she wasn't the only one. But she needed to be a good mother to her Pokémon... Or caretaker. She offered the others another smile before she walked off, with her Sylveon following closely behind.

"It's a really nice place. You should swing by the way if you get the chance. I think you and your pokemon would really like it, Kaname. Bye for now, and have fun at the festival!" Cecilia said, placing one hand on her hip. The whole encounter with these two had her feeling warm and friendly. Kaname had been a really good sport, and now she'd learned that Vertigo was from the same village that she lived in. Cecilia looked Vertigo over and wondered how she could have missed her. She stood out a bit with her black hair and too-large hoodie. Most people in the village didn't dress like that. She was probably an immigrant like Cecilia.

"I'm glad to meet you, Vertigo. Have you been in Forest Beach Village long? We should hang out together sometime. Maybe we can do some training or exploring. It's always safer to work as a team, if you don't mind," Cecilia suggested. She'd love to have another person to adventure and train with, and Vertigo looked like the sort of woman who could look after herself. She was tall like Cece, and her pokemon looked like a tiny tank.

"I've got to head off as well, but maybe we can ride back together or at least meet up in the village," Cecilia waved to Vertigo and her pokemon before turning and heading off. Sugar waved as well, using both of her huge mime hands and giving them a big happy smile. "I hope I'll catch you later, Vertigo!"

Vertigo gave Sonia a rather assessing glance, deciding that the other girl was pretty. Her eyes casually drifted across the pink fox creature behind Sonia, who was cringing and looking extremely uncomfortable. The girl continued to babble, before giving them a cheery smile and walking off. As Cecilia turned to Vertigo, the twenty-three year old rubbed her pixie-cut black hair uncomfortably.

"Ah, not long? At least a week," she volunteered, bending down to run her fingers against Trouble's head. At Cecilia's offer to hang out a little bit or do something together, Vertigo felt a warm flush spread through her body. "S-Sure?" she stammered slightly. "I, uh, am not- ugh- I'm not used to.." Flushing, she ducked her head. "Mm."

The other girl waved to Vertigo, while her Mr. Mime waved as well, giving the black-haired young woman a huge smile. "Ah, um.. See you later... I guess?" Shuffling her feet, Vertigo glanced down at her Pokemon with uncertain dark colored eyes. "Ready to go home, Trouble?"
