Welcome

Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new universe, this new world, and give it purpose. (Our site is best viewed in Firefox or Chrome.)

Events

It's the most wonderful
time of the year- meaning, the time of Delibird gifts and of winter festivals! And as always, our plot events are still going strong.

Season

winter will be here until
March. Aside from the western Great Forest, which is too warm, and the Desert Strip, which is too dry, snow begins to fall across the region. The chill of the season has just about every area firmly in its grasp. Ice and Dark types become more common as the temperature drops and the daylight fades.

[Travelling to the Crying Plateau with Sonia]
[Egg post 1]

With the festival over and supplies packed up, Victor was ready to make his trip through the forest. He wanted to explore the Crying Plateau and knew that in order to get there he'd have to pass through the great forest. It was bright and early in the morning. The wanderer wanted to get plenty of daylight out on the road.

Standing at the exit of Ashfield City, Victor looked down at his fox who seemed excited to see what was out there. They duo had been through the forest before and didn't get far. It's where they found Wisp and where Spirit was from. Victor thought about keeping the pokemon in their pokeballs as he traversed through the woods, but he thought this could be a good chance to bond more with them.

Spirit hovered close by with his arms crossed. He didn't bother giving any attention to the trainer or the others but he was anxious to get back to the forest. He missed the smell and temperature. Also, he knew how much swarms liked to attack random trainers and he was looking for a good fight. It’s why he decided to stick with the human anyway.

The little seedling Victor called Wisp was gripped tightly in his arms. The trainer figured it was a good idea to allow him to get plenty of the morning sun. Wisp basked as he sat comfortably with his eyes closed. Victor wondered how he would handle returning to the woods. It seemed he was used to being hunted before they found him. Maybe, they’d run into that Lickitung again.

Even with the confidence Victor felt in his pokemon, he wottied about the egg he purchased at the festival. He had it packed in his bag so that bit would stay warm. Wandering into the forest meant predators would take interest in a good meal. Victor couldn't wait to find out what was going to hatch and Wisp couldn't wait to no longer be the youngest.

“Come on team, let’s get going,” he said optimistically. Before anymore time was wasted, Victor gave the city one more look with his pokemon before walking away. Ghost and Spirit followed behind him as the city became further away. Victor and his team found themselves at the entrance of the forest. He let out a deep sigh. He didn’t know why he hesitated to enter.

The miracle had happened. The egg hatched really soon and while Sonia was too busy looking after the baby Rattata at first, she eventually remembered her talk with Victor earlier that day. She had said that she wouldn't be able to come with him unless the egg just happened to hatch on the same day... Now that it did and her shopping was out of the way, the dark-haired trainer rushed towards the city's exit, the one leading towards Crying Plateau.

She was running out of breath, but she finally caught up with them: again she spotted the auburn hair from a distance, and the Pokémon beside the man only ensured her that she had the right person. With Kaname dashing beside her and Bebe in her arms, Sonia called out to her friend, "Hey! Wait!"

She eventually reached him, but had to stop to take a deep breaths before she could speak normally. Sonia gasped a few times. "Phew! You won't believe what happened! My egg hatched!"

To make believing a little easier for Victor, she showed him the baby in her arms, who looked up at Victor with eyes sparkling with curiosity. Another big creature! And they had so many friends!... Bebe was just about to welcome them with a friendly squeak, but as she laid her eyes on the Ledyba, her heart skipped a beat... Thinking back to their encounter with a wild Pokémon the other day, the Rattata cried with distress and turned away from them, burying her face in Sonia's jacket The woman raised an eyebrow at this display of shyness from Bebe. She was still very young, but Sonia didn't exactly see her as the shy type.

"Well, maybe she'll need some time to open up then," Sonia added, patting the baby's head affectionately. "So, I know I said no earlier, but... Now I'm ready to go wherever! Kaname and I will be sure to keep you safe."

The Sylveon nodded, looking over Victor's group proudly. He was delighted to have Sonia's trust on this.

As the two stepped into the forest, pushing along the ghost of a trail that could be found from others who'd moved between the city and the plateau at the edge of the forest, they'd find that the weather was tolerable for travel. The slight bit of chill that came with winter was settling into the forest, however given it's atmosphere it never truly got cold. The breeze pushing through the flora would wave off any heat though, allowing them more comfort while pressing forward into the trees.

However they decided to have their trip, whether talking along the way or choosing to be more silent, they'd find much of the beginning of their trip to be left undisturbed. Though pokemon could be spotted here and there, birds flying along the tree tops or critters scurrying away into the bushes at their approach, nothing stepped out or made it's presence known to them. They'd be able to travel much of their journey safely as they pressed on towards their destination. Morning and afternoon passed as they moved safely along their way.

As they continued, they'd find the trail becoming less and less obvious, the further out they got the less traveled the forest seemed to be. After the peak of heat for the day came and passed, the temperatures just barely starting to lower as the day started to shift into evening, they'd hear the alerted rustling of grasses and a bush, the leaves shaking as a creature hastily pushed through. Out came a long slithering purple snake. a golden ring of color around its neck. It moved as fast as possible, but another figure darted above and in front of the ekans, the dragonfly zipping much faster through the air and blocking the snake's path. It fluttered there, the orange creature's wings flapping at super speed.

"Where d'ya think you're going? Off to go try to eat some innocent creature, eh?" Surprisingly, instead of striking, the purple creature raised its head and turned it around, spotting the next creature to push through the bushes. Standing at about 3 feet, the cream and pink pokemon pushed through the growth, big poofy ears flopping last through the leaves that clung to its fur. Though she moved a few more steps towards the ekans, she didn't seem very focused on the snake.

Atop her head was a much smaller pokemon, the white base supporting three small, purplish mushrooms. It looked down at the young snake and glanced at the yanma. "Good job you two. It's about time we show this one what for. You understand?" The audino didn't make a move, but the yanma buzzed excitedly. "Yeah, we are gonna show you what happens to your kind when you pick on smaller folk as us! You're just some stupid snake, who can only win unfair fights. But now it's three against one! You're in for a world of hurt, and we've got ya surrounded."

"We've chased you this far. Running is futile. Any last words?"

(Egg post 2)
Making their way through the trail, things seemed to be going well. Ghost tagged along closely occasionally bugging Kaname to play with her. Spirit kept his eyes out for any opportunities to get into a fight. He kept sort of a distance from the party as he buzzed on ahead. As for Wisp, he remained cozy in his trainers arms, enjoying the atmosphere of the forest. Victor kept a casual eye on Ghost, making sure she didn’t wander off. He didn’t have to worry about her as much as Spirit. The trainer worried that the bug would take off into the forest in an attempt to escape. Occasionally, he checked the egg in his bag, making sure it stayed warm. It didn’t seem close to hatching, so he wasn’t worried about it being born in his pack.

As the evening came, Victor wondered if they should set up camp. The temperature was dropping and even though it wasn’t really so cold, he was sure their pokemon were tired. “Sonia, do you think we should stop here? It’s getting pretty late,” he asked. It was kind of strange, since he barely said anything the whole trip. Just occasionally responding. As he stopped walking, Ghost walked past him slightly before realizing her trainer wasn’t going anywhere any longer. She didn’t want to lose sight of him.

The little fox turned back and trotted up to her trainer. Victor looked down at her and smiled. He kneeled down to pet her with a free arm while the other set down the budew. “Stay where I can see you he commanded the pokemon. Standing straight up he looked out to see Spirit was still going. “Hey, come back!” he called out. The bug looked back to see that the human wasn’t pressing forward. Did this mean he was done with his boring walking for the day?

Before Spirit could make it back to the trainers and their pokemon, the bug heard rustling in the bushes ahead. He turned to see an ekans slithering in his direction. “A predator!” the insect cried. His fellow pokemon companions looked ahead. Ghost seemed concerned and Wisp had a bit of panic. “Come get some!” Spirit buzzed at the snake. Before he could initiate a fight, another insect appeared into the situation.

It was a Yanma that seemed to be in pursuit of the snake. This was confusing. The predator had become the prey. The Ledyba was intrigued. From the bushes came more pokemon. An audino with a morelull sitting on its head. The three of them seemed to be retaliating against the serpent. Victor had caught on to the situation going on a few feet from them. He didn’t want to get him or Sonia involved in a fight they didn’t need to be a part of. It was at this time he realized that they may have to battle. Spirit looked as if it was ready to intervene. Victor pulled out the bugs pokeball ready to return him, but before he could point the ball, Spirit charged in.

The ledyba stood in between the snake and the dragonfly. “Typically, I’m all for bug power, but three against one is for chumps!” he spoke toward the Yanma. “You want a fight, fight me!” Spirit tackled the yanma full force. Victor looked in a panic, this is not what he wanted, but it already begun.

Sonia and her Pokemon were more than happy to come along. Kaname walked gracefully alongside his trainer, who was eager to make the journey fun with the power of small talk. But as they continued their journey forward, she was eventually running out of topics to talk about and was beginning to tire, so the further they walked, the more quiet she was.

As Victor suggested a stop, Sonia halted, taking a look around. Would it be a good place to stay? She wasn't so certain about staying in a forest... But they were prepared, all things considered. "I suppose so, yes. It's been rather uneventful so far, I feel like we haven't made much progress. But we really must be getting there... Slowly. Right?"

She placed Bebe and her bag on the ground, glad to be carrying a little less. The Rattata yawned. She hadn't been able to nap very well in Sonia's arms, it was all a little shaky as the woman was walking. And she was still at the age when daily naps were rather appreciated. As soon as she was on stable ground, she curled up into a ball next to Sonia's belongings, slowly falling asleep. Not even the ruckus up ahead shook her awake.

It was different for Sonia and Kaname. As the wild pokemon suddenly emerged, the Sylveon lowered his body in alarm, watching their every move. He had been expecting something to jump and attack them, that's what often happened in forests like this. An Ekans was a typical predator, too... But not only was it minding its own business, it also appeared to be the one who was cornered. Kaname relaxed his muscles a little, his ears twitching with confusion.

"Oh no! Looks like there's trouble. Let's go help out," Sonia cried out with genuine concern, oblivious to the snake's predating nature. She didn't worry about the context as much as she worried about the situation at hand and it clearly seemed like the Ekans was distressed. She needed to protect it! Even if she couldn't speak with the wild pokémon, she could try to mediate. Surely there had to be some way for a peaceful solution...

Sonia was cautiously approaching the scene, hoping to stand in between the attacking group and their victim and see about that peaceful solution, but Spirit charged in first, immediately turning this into a battle. She halted. This ruined her plans. She definitely wasn't going to get too close to the battle, there was a baby pokemon who needed her alive. Kaname was just fine with getting closer though; he skipped towards the Ekans, standing in front of him. He was still cautious about the predator, but if Sonia wanted to help him, he was going to assist her.

With Yanma busy, the Sylveon glanced at the other two pokemon. "Hey, what is the meaning of this? Is there any reason for you to be attacking?" he called out to them, unsure if he should follow Spirit's example and attack. Perhaps now it would be too late and they would turn this into an all-out battle... But it also seemed like Yanma was the one doing the dirty work. Perhaps these two would be willing to talk regardless. Kaname wagged his tail nervously, directing his next words at the Ekans. "And you would probably have another side of the story, I imagine?"

The ekans turned and looked up at the morelull, standing atop the audino who didn't know better. Still being such a young pokemon, he wasn't full size. Even if, naturally, he was the most proficient in battling and killing here, he wasn't dumb. These pokemon were equally or more experienced, the mushroom especially, and he couldn't win this fight. "I mean. You could not attack me. That's an option too." He knew they wouldn't listen, but what was the point of staying quiet now?

Lo and behold, a few others showed up at precisely the time he needed others to jump into the situation. The only way he could get out of this unharmed (or at least less harmed) was with divine intervention or a little outside help. The latter was fine with him. They all froze for a moment, wondering what the newcomers would do, the ledyba buzzing in first. And, hoh boy, did this ledyba seem up for a fight.

But luckily, the gang's teamng up on him came to an advantage, the newcomers immediately coming to his aid. He released a breath of relief, looking back up at the morelull as the sylveon stepped in. Okay, now he had a reason to keep his mouth shut and see what would happen. The fairy was asking why they were attacking, and he continued to keep quiet, even if he had found the question funny. It was for his benefit, after all.

The mushroom huffed, her fellow fairy clearly joining the wrong side in this battle. "Of course a strong, agile creature as yourself wouldn't be able to understand. Your kind is hardly threatened by snakes like this one." She flicked her mushrooms back before continuing. "He's a snake! All he wants to do is eat other smaller, less capable creatures. All we are doing is protecting ourselves, and all those tiny creatures in the forest."

Meanwhile, the ledyba crashed into the yanma, causing a flurry of annoyed buzzing from the creature. "Oh ho ho, I've been waiting for this. You wanna fight? LET'S GO FATTIE!" Her wings started to flutter more intensely, collecting and focusing the air around her. A powder substance started to lift from her body, decorating the air as it rushed forward, the silver wind attack pushing at Spirit.

When the sylveon asked for the ekans' opinion, he was genuinely surprised. " Nice to see someone here has a level head. Good quality to have." Couldn't hurt to get brownie points with the fairy trying to help him, right? "They don't like me because I'm a hunter by nature, but I wasn't attacking or anything. Just trying to go along my way honestly." If only he had shoulders to shrug. Alas, he'd wait to see if the Sylveon could get through to them.

"Either help us dispose of this despicable hunter, or stand aside. You have no business here."

(Egg Post 5)

Fortunately Sonia and Kaname were attempting to neutralize the situation. If anyone more pokemon were involved in this fight, things could get way out of hand. Victor had to focus on trying to get Spirit fighting. The bug was moving around too frequently to aim for a return. Ghost seemed ready to attack on command, but that was the last thing the trainer wanted.

Victor turned to his traveling companion. “I’ll be close if this turns into a bigger fight. I’m going to go deal with Spirit,” he said before darting toward the scuffle. The little white fox followed behind him with Wisp riding on her back.

Spirit glared down the Yanma as she spoke, his tackle must have missed, because the bug was unaffected. She called him ‘fattie’? Ohh! Her final words. “This isn’t fat! I’m all muscle, baby!” he cried out. The yanma was whipping up an attack as Spirit prepared to take it like a champ. The sparkling gust blew at the ledyba, pushing him back. The round bug slammed into his trainer who had just approached the confrontation. “Good catch,” Spirit exclaimed.

Victor held the bug who had just taken a silver wind directly. The trainer never witnessed the bug get knocked down so hard. Even though his goal was to end the fight, this slightly bothered him. “Alright, buddy! If this fight is going to happen, let’s at least win!” he commanded. The bug didn’t know what he was going on about but it seemed he was ready to get back into the fight. The ledyba floated out of his trainers arms and prepared to fight back. “Show that yanma a real silver wind!” Victor called out. The bug fluttered his wings rapidly as a sparkling gust rushed toward the other insect. Ghost and Wisp stayed by Victor. The fox was so anxious to join in, but she knew it would hurt the bugs pride. Wisp however was glad to have no part in it.

Kaname stood between the two sides of the conflict, his tail sweeping left and right as the Pokémon was focusing. He had rushed in because that was what Sonia wanted. He could sense her feelings still - there was fear, anxiety... She was clearly worried. She hated conflict. He wanted to end this peacefully so that she could be at ease, but at the same time... The other Pokémon's words hit their mark.

It was true. This was a fellow Fairy-type, and there he was, protecting a scary Poison-type. He knew to fear Pokémon like Ekans, but perhaps Morelull was right. Perhaps Kaname had it easy. Perhaps, when one looks at the bigger picture, there are many others, smaller ones, more in need than this Ekans right now...

"You are right that Pokémon like this Ekans here prey upon smaller creatures of the forest. I am aware of their struggles," Kaname spoke slowly, buying more time as he glanced at Sonia. The girl was keeping her distance, watching the scene wide-eyed and playing with her fingers nervously. He couldn't help but notice that her gaze was especially focused on him. As if she was silently begging him to make peace between these Pokémon... Kaname groaned. He was going against his loyalties here, he really was. Logically thinking, the attack on Ekans wasn't entirely unjustified - standing up for the weakest prey in the forest was fair. Besides, he wasn't fond of standing up for this Poison-type... If it was up to him, he would just let them be.

Noticing that Victor and Spirit were focused on the fight with Yanma, Sonia took a step back, still observing the tense encounter. She didn't understand what the Pokémon were talking about, but she had faith that Kaname could help resolve the conflict. She took another step back. "Kaname, don't let them bully the poor thing! Three on one just isn't fair," the woman argued. She had a feeling that the Sylveon was hesitating. Would this be convincing enough for him? But, she had to put faith in him. She felt a gentle nuzzle against her leg and immediately leaned down, picking up her Rattata and holding her tight. If a battle was about to happen, she had to protect the baby.

Kaname scoffed, giving Morelull a confident glare. He was mostly ignoring Audino, as if it was just a part of the mushroom. "I have to agree with her. Even if you think your actions are right, this is not the best way to go about it. And perhaps in another life I could support your goals. But my trainer doesn't want any violence, and I don't want to see her disappointed. Do you understand what I'm getting at?"

He stood tall and proud, trying to put his eyes on the level of Morelull. A fight could be unavoidable. Or perhaps he managed to talk them out of it? "So I ask you to turn back and play somewhere else."

The wind swirled and shot back at the yanma, the silvery dust created by the bug-type move sharpening as it pressed against the dragonfly's delicate form. It tore at the bug's exoskeleton, causing the pokemon to release a grunt before refocusing on the fight. Focusing the psychic powers she had, while still young and not proficient, she used her concentration to study the ledyba's movements, trying to gain foresight into what he would do next, before returning the favor of the silver wind.

"I see you've made your choice. The wrong choice." The top of the morelull's mushrooms quickly started to glow, before a burst of light flashed out brightly. It blinded all the pokemon in the immediate area, including those that had bee on the pokemon's side in this battle getting started. Before they'd have a chance to recover, the little fairy shook the spores from it's caps, pushing the poison powder to rain down on the sylveon who dared stand up for this abhorrent creature who threatened each and every one of them by its mere existence.

"Not cool fairy, not cool." The ekans hissed out as the light blocked out his sight. "They wanted to handle these peacefully dude, just back off." But as his vision cleared up and he noticed the spores of poisonous substance raining on the sylveon, he sighed and moved into action. The audino seemed to look at him, but then started to space out for some reason. Apparently the thing was pretty dumb, not focusing on the battle on hand. Still, he wasn't going to turn down the advantage. Much as he didn't want to prove them right, he could just let these others fight his battle alone.

Quickly uncoiling, he slithered around Kaname, giving him a short glance before focusing on the morelull. He prepared and launched his tail, reaching up to the top of the audino's head. He swiped his tail, pulling the mushroom pokemon into his grasp, removing the pokemon from her head. Pulling it down to the ground, he coiled further around it, wrapping it tightly in it's grasp to try and stop it from hurting the one who was coming to his defense. "You should have just handed it peacefully..."

(Egg Post 6)

Victor watched in anticipation as the dragonfly took the attack from the ledyba. He hoped that the Yanma would go down immediately, but this one may have been his equal in fighting spirit. The long tailed bug retaliated with another silver wind that pushed through the air. From an outside perspective this battle was very uninteresting based on the used of a single move from both pokemon. Spirit held its fists up as the silver wind pushed into him. The powder that came with the gust was painful. He was able to withstand the first hit well enough, but he was beginning to wear down. Ghost was worried that Spirit wouldn’t survive this. She wanted to desperately to intervene, but she was best off keeping an eye on little Wisp.

“Hang in there Spirit! This isn’t anything you can’t handle!” Victor called out.

Spirit looked back noticing the human appearing to be chanting in his favor. Unless the human was going to throw a punch, there was no way this was helping. The bug did enjoy the praise, however. Victor wasn’t sure this was going to end well if Spirit continued to fight head on. Perhaps embracing some of Spirits other abilities.

“Spirit, go for a Supersonic!” The trainer commanded.

The bug narrowed its eyes at the opposing insect preparing to strike back. The call from the human annoyed him, but it couldn’t hurt to try and confuse the opponent. Spirit roared as best a bug could. A piercing sound wave shot toward the Yanma. Immediately after the ledyba focused as his wings sputtered, summoning a silver wind once more.

Morelull's words were a clear declaration of war. Kaname scoffed, lowering his body and taking aim, planning his first attack... But suddenly there was a flash of blinding light. The Sylveon jumped back. His vision was gone, all he could see was bright, white nothingness. He blinked rapidly, then rubbed his eyes with one paw. Underhanded trickery! Whatever was going on, this had to be Morelull's doing. Which meant that being unable to see put Kaname in a vulnerable position...

With his next inhale, the Sylveon felt something funny. There was something in the air, that tickled his nose... A strange, unpleasant sensation. He tried to step back to run from it, but the poisonous powder was already on his fur and inside his nose. All of a sudden, Kaname felt nauseous. He stomach ached, he was dizzy, shivering... As if he had eaten something really bad. He shuddered. His vision was coming back to him. Although it was still blurry, he could see Morelull and Audino up ahead. Ekans slithered next to him, leading to another shiver. Kaname disliked being close to Poison-types, but he wasn't the snake's target. It was Morelull... He was the one responsible!

As Ekans leaped at the mushroom, Kaname wanted to follow, only to stop halfway into his first step. The poison struck. The nauseous feeling persisted, and he felt a little weaker all of a sudden. Really, that Morelull had all of the most nasty of moves. Very fitting.

Paying little attention to Audino, Kaname fought through his struggles and caught up to the fighting Pokémon, standing over them. The snake had a tight grip over the mushroom. That was also a nasty tactic, Kaname believed, but all in all, Ekans was his ally in this. He hesitated, but eventually reached towards Ekans with one of his ribbons. If the snake would allow it, Kaname would gently lay the tip of his ribbon on his body and have a rainbow-colored aura surround him, effectively making the wild Pokémon's attacks stronger with his Helping Hand. It was a move he hadn't trained with Sonia, as he hadn't had much of an opportunity or need to use it. Still, in times like this, it was very... handy.

"This should make you... s-stronger, for now," the Sylveon informed, his voice weak from both the poison and the closeness of a Poison-type. He then glared at the mushroom - at least so he hoped, as his vision was still blurry. He had to be careful not to damage Ekans in this... "Watch out, Ekans..."

Kaname kept his ribbon above Morelull, then waved it, emitting a pink fairy powder and launching it at the immobilised opponent. An unpleasant thought that now it was them who were the teaming-up bullies crossed his mind, but hearing the sounds of the battle between Yanma and Spirit, as well as remembering Audino's barely noticeable presence, reassured him... a little.

Similarly affected by Flash from earlier, Sonia and Bebe had been rubbing their eyes, anxious to watch the battle. When they mostly regained their vision, the trainer held her breath. She noticed purple spores on her beloved Sylveon's fur, and he seemed to be acting less confident than usual. Had the wild Pokémon done something to him? The woman held onto Bebe tighter, her gaze jumping from Yanma and Spirit, to Morelull, Ekans and Kaname, to Audino. As much as the last one was spacing out... Would it be wise to ignore it?

The only other human around was focused on the battle his Pokémon was in. Sonia stepped back, toward Ghost and Wisp. She gently placed Bebe next to them. "Please watch over her for a moment!"

The trainer ran back closer to where the Sylveon was, with her bag in her hands. No matter what it was that was weakening him, she was ready to jump in and act. She had some medicine, at least... She continued watching to see how the situation would develop and waiting for the right opportunity to check up on her partner.

The waves of screeching sound were about to start, the ledyba attempting to try confusing the dragonfly to make the fight easier on him. But luckily, her psychic inclinations helped her to be ready for it, diving into the nearby bush to block out the noise. She dove for a moment, waiting for the sound to stop, before popping immediately back out, only to be met with another silver wind attack, blowing her back a bit as the dust tore at her exoskeleton.

Much as she was loathe to admit it, this guy was good. And she was really starting to feel the pain, getting worn down from their trading attacks. Sure, the big bug looked like he was also feeling a bit damaged, but she wasn't confident in how much or her actually being able to win this fight. She didn't want to abandon her pack, but if they had any good sense they'd leave as well, to regroup later. With that thought in mind, she pushed off, turning away from the ledyba and rushing over the bushes to try and escape, effectively conceiting victory to Spirit.

The ekans on the other hand was still healthy enough, continuing to squeeze on the mushrom to inflict a little more damage. He could use poison, but he didn't want to do anything that could actually kill the pokemon. What good would it be if he just showed himself to be the predator they marked him as? Of course, he'd have to hunt sometime, but for now he wanted to show that he's not some merciless murderer. He's just a creature that needs to eat sometimes, like everyone else.

The morelull shrieked and bashed itself into his body, slamming much harder than he would have imagined possible. The astonish attack had the desired effect, shocking him strangely to the point that he was unable to move. So when the Audino suddenly seemed interested in the fight again there was nothing he could do. The larger pokemon seemed disturbed to see the mushroom in his grip, and seemed to think screaming at them was the solution, the normal type releasing a hyper voice attack crushing into him and able to hit the sylveon near him as well, if he didn't get out of the way on time. This was bothersome, but at least he had a better chance of not dying now with the help he had.

(Egg post 8)

With the move striking yanma, Spirit boasted as the insect fled from the battle. Victor was so relieved to have gotten that one out of the way. The ledyba had seriously taken a beating.

“Yeah you better run!” Spirit roared as he flexed his thin bug arms.

Victor praised the insect for his victory. The celebration waa too early though. Behind him l, his allies were in trouble. He heard the ear shatter noise coming from Sonia’s battle. He saw that the ekans she was trying to protect was taking heavy damage, as well as Kaname. It was time to assist.

“Come on, guys!” he cried out as Ghost and Spirit rushed over to aide. Behind them was little Wisp waddling to catch up. He didn’t want to leave Bebe behind all by herself.

Approaching the conflict, Victor analyzed the situation to make sure Sonia and Kaname were doing alright. They seemed to be standing their ground from his perspective. At least he hoped so. From the looks of it, audino was the one to beat. He didn't know if they could handle it, but it was worth an attempt. Maybe if they all go for it at once. He knew it seemed cheap, but this is survival and he didn’t care about fairness.

“Ghost, go in for a Moon blast against the audino!” he commanded and the fox dashed again charging the orb amd firing. “Spirit, follow up with a drain punch!” the second command was given as the bug rushed forward cocking back and fist and thrusting it at the pink tank of a pokemon.

If that would be enough to weaken it to retreat then he had to get some focus on the morelull as well. The ekans was not looking well enough to take another hit. “Wisp, I need you buddy,” he called to the little seedling. It looked up at him with worry. “You can do this, buddy,” he smiled at him. The budew’s eyes lit up as it nodded. Okay, this was his moment to help. “Grass whistle and absorb on the morelull.” As the command rang in his ears he bounced again cautiously, attempting to put the mushroom to sleep and damage it as much as possible.

Although Kaname attacked the fellow Fairy, he was feeling a little bad for supporting a Pokémon that he would normally see as an enemy and a threat. With Morelull trapped like that, Kaname was pretty sure it was over for her. Surely, Ekans would use the chance to strike... Maybe even devour her right away. That's what Pokémon like him did, right?

But he did no such thing. He was still squeezing Morelull, not giving up on the fight, but he didn't use his chance to end it for good. But the Sylveon didn't have much time to stay shocked. Judging from the sounds and the still blurry images, Morelull was still fine even after his Fairy Wind and Ekans's Wrap and ended up retaliating... And then came Audino's attack.

Kaname was stunned in place as the sound attack struck him. He lay his ears low with his eyes tightly shut, cringing at the loud shrieking. On top of that, the nausea he had been fighting back returned to make him feel even weaker... The Sylveon growled angrily. He was frustrated with himself. How could he have ignored Audino? He underestimated his opponent like an inexperienced pup!

As Audino stopped her attack, Kaname opened his eyes to scan the battlefield, breathing heavily. Ekans was taking a beating. This wasn't good. The Sylveon hesitated, wondering how best to assist him... A Poison-type should be his enemy by all rights, but Sonia wouldn't want him harmed. And he was a pretty even fellow. The battle was still going and Kaname was feeling weaker. If only he had some way to recover...

"H-hang in there, we can do this... Together..." he spoke in a weak tone. He barely noticed a few sparkling stars float over him...

Sonia also had to shield herself from the Hyper Voice. Unlike Kaname, she had the advantage of empty hands that she used to cover her ears. She could feel her heart pounding. This encounter had gone from potential peaceful to a deadly (at least in her eyes) fight very quickly. She was dying of worry for Kaname, but at the same time, jumping in to help would be getting in the way... There was something she could do, but it meant putting Ekans at great risk. She had to, though. Nothing was more important than protecting Kaname. Her hand reached for something in her bag...

How fortunate for her it was that they were not alone in this. Before she could make a decision, Victor stepped in together with his Pokémon. Sonia was moved by their resolve to save Kaname and Ekans. She turned to Victor to gave him a wide, grateful smile. With this, she was feeling more confident about what she was about to. Apologizing to Ekans in her thoughts, the woman aimed at her Sylveon with his pokeball. "Victor, please protect Ekans! Kaname, retu- Wait, Kaname?"

With the Sylveon's pokeball in her hand, she was ready to call him back in a desperate attempt to protect him, but... It happened again. The air sparkled around Kaname and, although the poison persisted, his condition improved momentarily. She could see it in the way he was standing and in his expression. An instant later, he stood tall and confident again... Even if a little shocked.

As Victor's Pokémon, including the two that were beside Bebe, jumped into the battle, the Rattata watched them, impressed with their bravery. This was the first time she was seeing an intense battle... and she wasn't sure if she was liking it. She liked Kaname and she didn't want to see him in pain. Not in the slightest. It was time for Bebe to help!

"Bebe help too!" she announced, taking a step forward and taking aim on Audino. As willing to help as she was, she chose not to rush into the battle. Instead, she opened her mouth and let out a blast of pressured water at the Normal-type.

The battle continued on, the group of pokemon closing in on the original attackers to stop their assault. While the worried Audino's cry for help had been effective in hurting the Ekans and Sylveon, she was by no means prepared for the triple attack in retaliation. The blast of focused energy from the vulpix, a creature the normal-type had hardly noticed until now, caught the pokemon by surprise. She immediately whined in a shrill cry.

Then the ledyba followed up, little balls of fury punching into the pokemon, the supereffective attack both hurting her immensely and draining her energy as she stumbled backward, tear welling up from the immense pain from the attacks. The water gun shot out to add into the attack, but the audino was already unconscious and lying on the ground unmoving by the time the attack stretched across to reach it. If she was breathing, it was very light and unnoticeable by just looking.

The morelull didn't fare too much better. Being wrapped was one thing, but she wasn't expecting the little plant, of all creatures, to also be against her in this battle. The bubbles pulled from the little pokemon's bodies, even as the sound of the soothing whistle muted the fiery rage inside, causing the fairy-type to start to fall asleep. Though she tried desperately to stay awake, knowing that falling asleep would mean her end, she was unable to withstand the attack.

With the attackers effectively neutralized, the ekans uncoiled, tossing the mushroom pokemon into a bush, where it would have a cushioned landing but still be a little ways away from them, should it wake up quickly. He was hurting, and happy the conflict was over. Man, he needed a nap. But first, he felt pretty much obligated to help these guys who had come to his aid in a time of need. He should by all rights probably be dead right now. Like that audino probably was.

Whew. He definitely didn't want to make enemies out of this group.

"Err, give me a second. Let me go find you something to help with the poison." He slithered off after hissing the words, quickly moving through the growth to find something to help. It took a couple minutes, but eventually the grasses would cue his reemergence, a roundish purple and pink berry carefully held by the end of his tail. He set it on the ground in front of Kaname. "Thank for the help. That should take care of the poison, if I remember correctly. Probably shouldn't stick around long though, in case her majesty over there wakes up from her nap and wants to fight again."
