Welcome

Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new universe, this new world, and give it purpose. (Our site is best viewed in Firefox or Chrome.)

Events

It's the most wonderful
time of the year- meaning, the time of Delibird gifts and of winter festivals! And as always, our plot events are still going strong.

Season

winter will be here until
March. Aside from the western Great Forest, which is too warm, and the Desert Strip, which is too dry, snow begins to fall across the region. The chill of the season has just about every area firmly in its grasp. Ice and Dark types become more common as the temperature drops and the daylight fades.

Dear Arceus, this could be it! The little fox was closing in. She was hoping it was because she somehow mustered up the speed to pass by the fiery horse and not just the steed getting tired. Fortunately for her the rat baby behind her was falling behind. She hoped it stayed this way, because Bebe was looking pretty furious and who knows shat would have happened if she caught up.

Her determination and frustrated were fruitless. There was only so much a young Pokémon with tiny paws could do. She wasn't giving up, no, still far from it... But with how shallow her breath was, and how her legs were moving slower and slower... This wasn't looking for good. Maybe if she managed to gather up enough power for a second wind...

The barely visible shape of the fluffy white fox and the flames of the horse that stood out in the white landscape both seemed to be getting so far away.

In The
Races
[1st, Trick (167). 2nd, Ghost (159). 3rd, Bebe (152).]

Trick had managed a small burst of speed, but he wasn't convinced he could keep it up for much longer. He had to try, though, for the sake of his pride.

He focused on the muted sound of his hooves against the snow and sand, the familiar rhythm of his gallop. One two, three four. One two, three four. One two, three four...

Over and over again.

He regulated his breathing. It was heavier than he'd liked, despite all the training he had done so far alongside Cynth to improve his speed and endurance.

He let out a laugh. //Give up already!// He gasped out breathlessly, not in anger or exasperation, but in a challenging, sarcastic, and almost playful tone.

No matter how many times she caught up to the horse, he always seemed to muster enough strength to put good distance between them. Her body wanted to give up, but she was so determined. Ghost pulled ahead as best she could. The fox had come to close to the fox that she swore she could hear him taunting her. Wait, what? She did it she could finally tell the horse to stop melting the snow!

Unfortunately, before she could say anything the horse picked up speed and dashed on ahead. Ghost was so frustrated, but also convinced she had to beat him.

At this point Bebe felt like she could hardly stop. It was like she had little control over her legs and she just ran because she had been doing so for a while and couldn't bring herself to suddenly halt. The others were getting ahead of her. The horse's words reached her, giving her a tiny bit of motivation to keep it up.

"Bebe won't give up! Never!" she screamed at the top of her lungs, wasting a good chunk of her energy for this warcry, but she didn't have enough self-restraint to resist the urge to respond.

Wow what? Ghost could hear Bebe's foot prints dashing in the background. The rat was so furious and Ghost thought shs heard her screeching. Besides that, the fox was catching up to the horse. Part of her knew he'd put some distance, but it was a confidence booster to know she could get close.

Her determination wasn't bringing her any closer to catching up with the other two. She was making progress, but clearly it wasn't enough progress to make up for the differences in size and experience. Bebe told herself that pressing on was one way of gaining said experience, and went on, her breath staying shallow and her tiny paws making quiet thuds with each step.

In The
Races
[1st, Ghost (191). 2nd, Bebe (187). 3rd, Trick (181).]

As Trick was rounding a wide curve, beginning to turn so as to avoid getting too far from where his human waited (curse this physical pulling that he constantly felt toward her!), the unthinkable happened: he stumbled.

He managed to keep from going down completely, but in his struggle to regain his footing and balance, he sacrificed his speed, and suddenly the two mammals that pursued him shot past him.

His good mood quite suddenly fell back into a foul one yet again, and a noise like a growl rumbled in his throat. He jumped back into the race, now only running beside them rather than in front of them, straining to once again pull ahead. If he could just regain his lead before they again reached where all the humans were gathering...

With the rat and foc closing in on the horse, Ghost wondered if this was really happening. Surely exhaustion was making her see what she wanted. That or the ponyta was beginning to go easy on the two. Ghost was still ahead of Bebe, but not quite far enough to win. Just when she was ready to just call it, the horse had stumbled. He didn't fall, but oh man was this her opportunity to catch up. With the fire type slowed down a bit, the fox was able to run almost beside him.

"Hey, why are you melting winter?!" She cried out as she desperstely tried to keep pace.

A sudden turn of events boosted Bebe's confidence. The flamey pokemon stumbled, allowing her and Ghost to get an advantage! The rat had to hold back a victorious giggle as she passed the horse - this gave her some newly found energy but not enough to allow her to waste it on making more useless sounds. Especially that the Ponyta wasn't letting them enjoy this temporary advanntage for long. It was catching up again. This was such an even race!

But that only made the game more exciting for Bebe.

Ghost didn't understand how she was keeping aheas but she was. The little fox dashed like the fate of ths world demended on it and she was its hero. The ponyta and Bebe were not far behind, but she did not want to look back to see how much. She hoped this would be over soon and if she won then she'd have this horse end its winter melting hooves. After, Bebe and her could go get some food abd much needed rest.

In The
Races
He had expended himself too much, too early. He had been running too hard long before he was joined by these two.

Of course, his pride didn't recognize that. His pride and his ego told him that he should be winning, no matter what the circumstances. So wrapped up in his outrage was he- his brief euphoric mood absolutely gone already- that he heard none of what the fox, now running just ahead of him, said. The thundering of his hooves was too loud, and honestly, he didn't care what these two had to say or why they were running against him.

It wasn't long before the horse passed Bebe again. She squeaked in dismay, devastated to be losing... But also glad he hadn't stepped on her. That could be the end of Bebe, and Bebe had important plans regarding her future. Such as playing more of games like this! She felt like it was coming close to the end, and it would soon be time to rest.

But until then... She had to keep running.

Well it seemed the ponyta could care less about what Ghost had to say. It didn't matter anymore. Ghost was playing nice and it was getting her nowhere. She decided to just focus on the finish line as she sprinted ahead. Even with all the effort, Bebe was inching ahead of her. As far as they came, she did not expect the little rat to still be pushing forward.
