Welcome

Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new universe, this new world, and give it purpose. (Our site is best viewed in Firefox or Chrome.)

Events

It's the most wonderful
time of the year- meaning, the time of Delibird gifts and of winter festivals! And as always, our plot events are still going strong.

Season

winter will be here until
March. Aside from the western Great Forest, which is too warm, and the Desert Strip, which is too dry, snow begins to fall across the region. The chill of the season has just about every area firmly in its grasp. Ice and Dark types become more common as the temperature drops and the daylight fades.

Mounts

Mounts are used to significantly cut down on travel time as well as to reach places that otherwise would be difficult or impossible to reach. The Pokemon that can be used as mounts are listed in the second post.

◒ Cooldown

You can use a particular mount four times per season, before the mount begins to tire from the exertion and their risk of getting injured during travel increases exponentially. If we feel the mount is being overused, even within our guidelines and limits (for example, if it is only the third time that mount has been used for travel, but in each travel they have also been used as the primary battler), your mount has a high chance of becoming injured. Use your own common sense to determine when and how often their particular travels should be.

◒ Saddles

Though saddles for land mounts aren't common aside from draping a simple pelt or blanket over the steed's back for comfort's sake, some land mounts do require specialized saddles. All water mounts require specialized saddles, though it is more of a system of loops and straps than something actually sat on, with some exceptions. The loops strap your arms and/or legs to the mount, and though they impede the human's movement, they do not impede the mount's movement much, if at all. All air mounts also require specialized saddles. These are kept as light and flexible as possible, designed so that the birds have freedom of movement and so that the saddle isn't adding unnecessary weight. They typically include stirrups for your feet as well as straps for your legs to keep you secure. All saddles are custom made for each individual mount; saddles cost 500-800 to buy depending on how exotic the mount is and how much material is used.

This will be the second post in the new Mounts thread, saving it here so it doesn't get lost. The first post will go over everything else, and I'll just edit the original thread to put that in.
