Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new world, and give it purpose.

Terrene continues to heat
up, both in temperature and in conflict. Beta is asking for spies to infiltrate Omega's camp, while Dentelle simply wants to inquire after the scientist's progress. Later in the season, Beta is hosting his annual crater city tournament, where people can test their Pokemon and their leadership and strategies against one another.

Summer will be here until
September. The heat of summer is here in full force, as well as the accompanying summer thunderstorms. Bug, electric, and fire types all thrive while others wilt under these conditions.

A bright light flashed at the borders of Ashfield City, indicating that the portal was opening and a newcomer was arriving. After a few moments, the portal spat out a petite brunette and vanished into thin air.
Jazzi found herself standing in the middle of a large clearing, surrounded by large totems. Where am I?" She thought before whirling around, trying to figure out where she was. However, the sudden fast movement made her head throb. "Ahhh," she groaned, rubbing the side of her head as an attempt to soothe the pain. It took a few moments, but soon, the pain began to die down.
Dropping her hands, she glanced around again, a little more slowly. She didn't want to risk bringing back that odd headache. Jazzi frowned, a confused look spreading across her face. She had no idea where she was and didn't remember how she got here - actually, she didn't remember anything at all. Panic started to grow in her chest as she racked her brain, trying to remember something, anything. She makes out a few letters, and it said....Jazzi K? Was that her name? K, what? She tried to think of the other letters that belonged to the word, but nothing came to her head.
I guess it's not that important, she tries to tell herself. She had better things to do, like figure out where she was and what she should do next. Before she could decide her next step, however, a red creature came into her sight. It seemed to be moving towards her, considering that it was on the path that only lead to this clearing. Jazzi squinted, trying to make the fuzzy creature a little clearer.
It kinda looked like a....Jazzi frowned again, the word escaping her. The creature was mostly red with a yellow beak, and it looked so familiar to her, as if she had seen one of them before. However, she swore she had never came across one until now. She let out a frustrated sigh. This whole...memory thing would drive her absolutely crazy. Why doesn't she remember anything, anyway? Has she actually gone crazy? Did she hit her head on something?
Before Jazzi could question herself for any longer, the red creature reached her and began to quack. The woman laughed a little, slightly amused. "And what are you doing here, huh?" she asked, squatting down so she was eye-level with the creature.
The only response was a single loud quack in her face.

Tick, tick, tick.

Jazzi's eyes are fixed on the clock in her room, her eyes following the second hand as it shifts in a steady manner. The clock read 11:27, but she wasn't sure if it was supposed to be early noon or midnight. While it was pitch black outside, with the illuminating rays of the moon being the only light source, it had remained like that for the past year or two. Actually, it may be three. She honestly wasn't too sure about that either - the concept of time was so bizarre to her now, as it was all over the place. She honestly hated it. Time seemed to crawl by, and her impatient nature was not taking it well.

She tries to tell herself that the messed-up time was why her older brother hasn't called home yet. He usually calls back at least once a month, but ever since the chaos took place, he hasn't. Maybe he just wasn't sure if it's been a month yet. Or maybe, he already did, but something went wrong during the call and the connection broke off. There was also the possibility that -

Jazzi shook her head, annoyed at herself. She knew very well that her brother, and most likely her beloved mother as well, was dead. It's not like her to make up a bunch of excuses and hold on to false hope - no, she would force herself to accept the situation and move on. That's what she did when her mother left. She needed to do the same now. It was silly of her to think that her older brother was still alive, when natural disasters were striking every other minute. To be honest, she was surprised that something hasn't happened in her town yet.

The twenty-two year old closed her eyes, making a feeble attempt at going to sleep. She had nothing better to do. She might take her younger siblings out for a walk later, though, as they haven't left the house for a while. Magby needed to get some exercise as well. At the thought of her partner, Jazzi opened her eyes again, and glanced at the small fire Pokemon at her right. She smiled wistfully at him. Her dreams of leaving town and traveling the world with Magby seemed so far away, so unrealistic now. They would be lucky if they even stayed alive.

The woman continued to stare at her companion, and couldn't help but wish that she had left her family for just one weekend and went on a short adventure. It didn't have to be very far - just a little bit of something to satisfy her desire to go out and roam. Jazzi had always thought there would be more time for her to explore the world. All she had to do was to wait for her youngest sibling to turn eighteen, and then she would've been free. Unfortunately, things didn't work out that way.

Jazzi shut her eyes again, and forced herself to push those thoughts out of her mind. There was no use in wishing for something that could never happen. Maybe in her next life, she can have the lifestyle she always wanted to have. But in this one, she just wants the rest of her family to stay safe and alive.

<div class="simpappname">JAZZI K</div>

With soft cheeks and a petite figure that barely reaches 5'2, Jazzi is typically not someone who would be considered as intimidating at first glance. The rest of her features are just as soft and unintimidating, with plump pink lips that curve into an easy smile and eyes in the shade of a deep cocoa. Her light brown locks go beyond her shoulders but halt right before it hits the small of her back, and are often curled a little at the ends. Her skin is on the paler side, but with a tendency to get sunburns if sunscreen is not applied constantly.
However, despite her seemingly "gentle" appearance, she sports a fast, bouncy walk that resulted from her impatient nature, and a loud voice that doesn't seem to understand the idea of whispering.
Her typical attire is simple, usually consisting of simple pieces. Almost always, no matter what, Jazzi would have something that's black in her outfit. Her personal favorite is an outfit that's made up of a simple white crop top, skinny black jeans, and an army green jacket that reaches mid-thigh. She's not one for a bunch of accessories either, finding them slightly irritating, especially when she's on the move. However, she does wear a necklace with a single, small triangle hanging off of it. Although she can't remember why, she's extremely attached to it and would become frantic if it's lost.

<div class="simpappdesc">Personality</div>
- impatient, easily annoyed, easy to anger, bossy, independent, brave, reckess, quick thinker, adaptable, competitive
Jazzi was an independent person from a very young age. With four other siblings in a single parent family, she learned to fend for herself instead of relying on others. In a tough situation, she'd rather figure it out on her own instead of asking someone for some help, which isn't necessarily the smartest thing to do. Thankfully for her, Jazzi adapts easily to the situation given to her and her quick thinking helps her get out of many tricky situations. Her quick wit definitely helps with her competitive streak as well, as she'll find a faster or easier way to complete the task she is trying to accomplish. Some might say that the twenty-two year old is a little too competitive - she'll get quite sulky when she loses. If it was a minor event, she'll probably stop sulking over it in a short period of time. But if it was a major loss, good luck trying to get her spirits back up.
Maybe it was a result of her competitive nature, but Jazzi is extremely brave and would take on almost any challenge. Many people had called her a daredevil back in her town, as she liked to do things that others were scared to take on or were deemed as a little more dangerous. If you ask any of the people in town, they would tell you that she acted quite stupidly and recklessly as a kid because of her 'bravery'. Thankfully, after the time she tried to go rock-climbing on a cliff without the proper materials and broke her leg, she's been much less reckless. However, it should be noted that if you tease her enough, her competitiveness kicks in and she'll probably do something stupid again.
Jazzi has never been the most patient person around. In her world, she likes things to go fast, fast, and, well, even faster. She absolutely hates it when people are late, even if it was only a minute. Waiting for others definitely isn't her forte. She's not a fan of slow walkers, either - she'll tolerate it, but more likely than not, she'll probably complain a little bit. Additionally, Jazzi is also easy to annoy and anger. You would think that with three younger siblings that liked to push her buttons, her tolerance for things would be pretty high, but it's the opposite. If you take her stuff as a joke, break something of hers, continously talking to her while she's feeling tired - she'll blow up. She's very open about her emotions and would make no effort to conceal it at all - one look at her face, and you would know immediately how she was feeling.
The last notable trait about Jazzi is that she can be quite bossy if she wants to. Her bossiness doesn't show up until one is good friends with her, however, so people that don't know her well would probably have a hard time believing that she bosses people around. Her bossiness developed after her three younger siblings were born, and as her older brother didn't help take care of them as much, Jazzi got used to giving out orders to the kids and telling them what to do. Thus, she has a tendency to boss anyone that seemed to be younger than her without realizing. She'll try to control herself if someone tells her she's being a little too demanding, though she may need to be reminded every now and then.
<div class="simpappdesc">History</div>
Jazzi's mother is the person that she admired most in her life, even when her mother chose to leave her and the rest of the family.
To be honest, it wasn't too surprising when Jazzi's mother packed up her bags and left. She was a wild spirit, and longed for adventure and freedom and had so much curiosity for the world. The people that knew her never expected her to settle down, but when she met Jazzi's father and got pregnant with her brother, the two of them ended up settling in Solaceon Town and lived there together for the next thirteen years.
Jazzi was born two years after her brother, and when she was six, her mother gave birth to twin girls, and when she was ten, her youngest brother was born. Before her youngest brother was born, Jazzi had a relatively normal childhood, and her mother was a constant presence in her life, taking care of her and her siblings. She would also share stories from her past to them, talking fondly about the times when she traveled with her friends and met many different people and Pokemon. Jazzi was always extremely impressed by these stories, and secretly desired to do the same when she's older. Occasionally, Jazzi would catch her mother flipping through photo albums with snapshots of her travels, looking at them longingly, but at age five, she didn't think much about it and simply went over to ask her mother to play. Her mother would smile, close the photo album, and join her in whatever she was doing.
However, a few months after the birth of her youngest brother, her mother's old travel buddy came to visit and that seemed to flip a switch. After that visit, her mother began to grow distant, little by little. It started by simply coming home later than usual and frequently leaving the house. Every now and then, she would be gone for a weekend, and as time passed by, there would be occasions where she'll be gone for a whole week. Her parents seemed to argue over this constantly, but they would do it in the privacy of their room, so Jazzi wasn't sure.
As her mother grew further and further apart from the rest of the family, Jazzi and her siblings started attempting to do many things to get their mother's attention again. It was almost like a competition at times, especially between her and her older brother, on who can get their mother's attention first. Perhaps this was when Jazzi's competitive streak started developing. She was eager to get her mother back, and sometimes she succeeded, but other times her mother would just brush her off absentmindedly. Every time her mother ignored her, Jazzi was always secretly hurt, but she didn't dare to voice it out loud.
About a year later, after one of her mother's many trips, she came back with two pokeballs. She declared that she wanted to gift the Pokemon to Jazzi and her older brother, as it was about time they had a companion, and Jazzi was ecstatic. She received a Magby, and the small fire Pokemon would accompany her for the rest of her life in the old world. Eager to become a good trainer (and maybe explore the world with Magby in the future, just like her mother), Jazzi began to put most of her attention towards the Pokemon. When she wasn't sleeping or going to school, she spent most of her time with him. As Jazzi grew older and began to reflect on this time, she realized that maybe that was her mother's plan all along - to distract her children and slowly fade out of their life.
It was a Saturday morning when she left. Jazzi woked up late that day, and clumsily stumbled down the stairs. Her entire family was already downstairs, with a single apology letter from her mother. "I can't do this anymore," she had said. "I need to go out and see the world again". Jazzi vaguely remembers that her father had his face in his hands, the twins were crying, and her younger brother (who was only three) was oblivious to what was going on. She'll never forget the emotion on her older brother's face, though. It was a combination of anger and sadness and betrayal, all at the same time. Everyone could see how much it hit him. No one was quite the same after that day, with her brother choosing to distant himself as well and her father constantly overworking himself. Her younger siblings were a little less affected, with all of them having only vague memories of the event.
Jazzi wasn't too sure on how to cope with the grief. She cried for multiple times, but she ran out of tears quickly. She would flip through the photo albums, but seeing images of her mother hurt even more. In the end, she chose to take one of her mother's favorite necklaces from the jewelry stand - the one with a simple triangle hanging off it - and wore it every day. It made her feel a little better, like she had a piece of her mother with her. It was the best that she could do. Jazzi forced herself to move on, partly for the sake of her siblings - they needed someone to help take care of them, and clearly, both her father and brother weren't in the mind to do that.
Life goes on for Jazzi and her family. Her father gradually accepts the fact that his wife has left, and begins to act as the parental figure again, taking off some of the burden on Jazzi's shoulders. As for her older brother, well, as soon as he became 18, he took off. He calls occasionally so they know he's safe, but otherwise, they don't keep in contact. Jazzi had wanted to do the same, but she felt slightly bad for her father, who would have to work and take care of three other children. Thus, she decided to stay in town until her youngest brother turned 18 - then she would leave for her own adventure.
