Radha walked through the entrance flap of his father's tent in Omega's camp.

He had had enough of cryptic half-answers and nonsensical rumors. He wanted to look for himself and see if Omega was someone who was interesting or potentially important, and if not, he wanted to at least get some work done. Sitting inside the tent for so long had given him an unbearable restlessness that nothing short of this would relieve him of.

Plus... he was curious. He wanted the truth. The strange things that had been happening around the camp recently only aggravated his thirst for knowledge and ignited a belief that Omega was more than he seemed to be to the outside people.

He continued walking. Even after all the time that he had spent there, he still wasn't used to the disorganized mess that was Omega's camp. The complete randomness of the tents and the people and the constant roar of noise and the chaos completely disoriented him. After living in Crater City, he could not accept how anyone could bear to live in a place like this.

Suppressing his feelings, he continued on his quest. He saw his father carrying something in the distance and raised his hand in greeting. Then, he continued towards the center of the camp, past the haphazard tents and other improvised shelters, past the shops that were hastily constructed, towards where Omega and his higher-ups would be more likely to hang out, or so he hoped. He saw someone from behind, but he couldn't tell exactly any of the person's features. He tapped the person on the shoulder and said, "Excuse me, can you direct me to Omega or one of his higher-ups?"

[ Welcome to Terrene! I have prepared a short story that will play out for Radha, in which a number of wild Pokemon will appear. Depending on Radha's choices and interactions with these creatures, one of them could end up being his first Pokemon! Remember, I remain in control of all of these wild Pokemon until the end of the topic. Enjoy, and let me know if you have any questions! ]

@Sivanandi

The woman turned. And it was a woman, though it was hard to see before she turned due to the loose-fitting off-white jacket that she was wearing. It was long, reaching down to her knees, loose on her body but tighter on her arms, the sleeves slightly rolled up. The jacket looked rather thin, though it still seemed out of place for the woman to be wearing it in the early-to-mid summer heat. Her brown hair was tucked and tied up against the back of her head; the flyaways and escaped wispy pieces near the front indicated that the bun had been tied quite a while ago, and that she'd been on the move since then, allowing much of the shorter lengths of hair to escape the confines.

She seemed to be average height for a woman, at about five and a half feet, maybe slightly less. The expression on her heart-shaped, somewhat aged face was not a friendly one, but was stern and irritated and a little bit tired.

"They're a little busy, you know." The woman's voice didn't quite match her expression. Her face was firm, with a straight mouth and fierce dark eyes. Her voice was quiet, almost frail. It did carry a twinge of irritation in it, but it mostly sounded monotone and could even be described as apathetic.

"Why? What is it you need?"

(Starting out slow, until the actual starter part of this thread begins. P.S. remember to add a link to Radha's index in your signature!)

Radha flinched inwardly at the irritated expression on the woman's face. He didn't think he had done anything to offend her, but just in case, he muttered a quick apology.

When she stated that they were probably busy, Radha had to restrain himself from pointing out that he already knew that, but still said "Of course."

When the woman asked what he needed, he said, "I wanted to ask about what they do and see if I might get any answers. Also, I was potentially going to ask about joining up as an explorer. It sounds entertaining, and if what I've heard from more credible sources is true, it could be a really good idea as well."

{OOC: I'll do the signature thing when I can access a computer again, lol.}
