QUEST: Spy on the witch

For nearly a year, Beta has had his spies in and around Omega's camp at the base of Onix Peak, but after going that entire time span with no real developments, he's had to call them back. All of this has been very hush-hush, of course, so no one except Beta's higher-ups know about it.

However, since Beta has had to bring back his official spies, he's asking for a couple of volunteers to go into the camp and see what they can see, hear, or find. He has a feeling Omega is up to something, but there has been precious little actual evidence of anything. But even beyond Beta's paranoia, there's still a legitimate question to ask... where is all that metal going?

So if you'd like to go and try and find out for yourself, Beta will sponsor your travel to the Rolling Mountains and back again. All you have to do is, well, spy. Eavesdrop, and sneak around, and whatnot.

This quest will be done in the style of an unmodded adventure- except instead of Pokemon being randomized, it's situations for your character to potentially discover intel from. Each round, two or three different options will be randomized for your character to choose from. Once they choose, the result of their choice will be randomized and processed, and you'll be given the results.

Depending on what the results are, you may get "intel points." These basically just track how much useful information your character has learned. In order to complete the quest, you need at least 50 intel points. Once you reach 50 intel points, you can keep getting more, up to a cap of 100. More intel points means more rewards, as detailed in the rewards section below.

Unlike most other quests, this quest can also be failed. Along with intel points, you character might also accrue suspicion points, depending on how the rolls turn out. If you reach 100 suspicion points, your character is kicked out of Omega's Camp and can no longer gain any more intel points, so if your character is kicked out before they reach at least 50 intel points, you fail the quest. If the quest is failed, no rewards are given except for the 50 tokens for completing a topic.


None, but higher skills in Charisma and/or Stealth are recommended.

Quest rewards:

  • the 50 tokens for completing a topic
  • +1% EXP into stealth or charisma per 1 intel point (minimum of 50%)
  • x1 potion OR elixir

    If you finish the quest third:

  • all of the above, AND
  • x1 randomized specialty ball

    If you finish the quest second:

  • all of the above, AND
  • x1 smoke ball

    If you finish the quest first:

  • all of the above, AND
  • x1 hyper elixir
  • x1 rare candy
