Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new world, and give it purpose.

Terrene continues to heat
up, both in temperature and in conflict. Beta is asking for spies to infiltrate Omega's camp, while Dentelle simply wants to inquire after the scientist's progress. Later in the season, Beta is hosting his annual crater city tournament, where people can test their Pokemon and their leadership and strategies against one another.

Summer will be here until
September. The heat of summer is here in full force, as well as the accompanying summer thunderstorms. Bug, electric, and fire types all thrive while others wilt under these conditions.

It felt a little odd to be out in the ocean. Well, it felt odd to be outside in general. Although Blue was pretty sure she was away from the hostility of Oasis, she still felt on edge. She merely sat and waited in worry for something bad to happen. She kept herself seated close to Chuck, who was quietly fishing off the side of the wooden boat. Honestly, the girl couldn't believe she had managed to talk him into taking her along for one of his fishing trips... He seemed really hesitant to do so, though. So... Hopefully just don't get in his way and help if possible.

Due to the limited size of the boat, only Blue, Chuck, and about half of Blue's team were able to be in the boat without it sinking. While Chuck's team, Mary, and Pyro stayed at the safety of the house, Sasha and Poppy stayed put in the boat while Joey buzzed erratically in the air around it. The maractus... Didn't seem all too happy with her new surroundings, and kept making unknown off-handed comments to Sasha. Blue couldn't help but laugh as the sheep began rolling her eyes and moving to seat herself at the girl's feet.

"(... I'm just saying, why are we even here in the first place?)" Poppy muttered, crossing her arms together. She was perfectly fine with staying at the house, but naaaah, how about they go on some weird trip into the ocean? That'd surely be fun.

"(I don't know, why are we here?)" Sasha retorted, shuffling around to make herself more comfortable at the human's feet. She let out a sigh as Joey buzzed around her head. The cutiefly seemed a bit more upbeat than usual... She didn't know whether to be annoyed or tolerant of that. "(Oooh! What if we are visiting my swarm at Fairy Island? I could show them all what oddities humans are! They'll be so impressed by my research and observations!)"

"(... Keeeep dreaming, buddy.)" Sasha chuckled, setting her chin on top of her hooves. She didn't have much else to do, so the sheep decided to try and take a small nap to pass the time.

Blue flashed a tired smile at the excited bug, wondering what he was thinking about. What was causing his hyperactivity this time around? Was he not used to the ocean? The girl tilted her head and squinted at the cutiefly. Joey hovered blankly for a moment before bonking himself on her nose before flying off doing whatever he was doing. She merely stared at him for a while, but flinched up at Chuck's sudden warning.

"I think I got a bite, watch out."

Chuck was highly reluctant to enter what now seemed to be Blue’s room. He was worried about her to bits, but… She just didn’t seem like she was emotionally ready to talk about what had happened. Not after the way she reacted once Ri left… Oh god he was going to fucking strangle that lady. He was pretty set on going through with his threat if he ever saw her again. He didn’t understand why Blue kept dragging horrible people into her life, and the fact that he even had to worry about that terrified him.

But… He might have to talk to her now. The girl hadn’t come out of her room ever since that… Event. It had been almost two days, and he was sure she hadn’t eaten what he had left in her room… God he wished he could just fix all of this. He wanted to fix this mess so Blue could be freaking happy.. He didn’t want to lose her like he did Irene. His thoughts drifted for a few moments to the comment the girl had made… That she was just a do-over for his daughter. He didn’t think that at all. Sure, Irene was his pride and joy and he missed her more than anything… But he wasn’t going to try and replace her with anyone. Blue was another daughter, not a replacement one.

… He probably shouldn’t dwell on it. The sooner he forgot that comment, the better… She probably didn’t even mean it, right?.. She was drunk, after all... Chuck’s gaze shifted from the bottle in his hand to Blue’s room. Screw it. The man suddenly stumbled up from his chair, staggering a bit on his feet as he made his way towards the door. He managed to get there without much issue, but paused as he suddenly realized something. His gaze turned to the group of pokemon a bit farther from the table. Blue’s pokemon. They all seemed… A bit quiet and tired. Even the usually upbeat cutiefly didn’t take to his insane patterns of flying and buzzing around. Instead, he calmly hovered by his teammates and buzzed in an almost aggressively serious tone. The mareep's expression seemed vacant, as if lost in thought. Pyro had taken to constantly be murmuring to either Mary or Joey, in which the latter usually replied.

His newly evolved stoutland stood close, eying his trainer with questioning eyes. Chuck blinked, and bent over towards his pokemon. He gently scratched the dog behind the ears before murmuring something to him. The dog fiercely nodded as his trainer pulled away, and barked something to the other human's team. They all turned to face the big pokemon as he started barking something. Chuck gave a thumbs up, and nodded. "On my signal."

And with that, the man pushed himself into Blue's room. It seemed empty and dismal, even for his standards. There were almost nothing in the room except for a tiny bed in the back corner. In that bed was Blue, who looked more dead than alive. She was curled up desperately while clutching her sleeves. Her jacket threatened to tear at that point. As Chuck edged closer, he could see the almost expressionless look on her face. She looked so distant even though she was right in front of him. Chuck took a long deep breath, and briefly glanced behind his shoulder before stepping further towards the small girl.

"... You want to talk about what's wrong now?" He suddenly asked, seating himself near her. It took a few seconds for her to even process that Chuck was there. The girl rubbed her dry eyes and turned herself to face away from him. "I'm fine."

"What have I told you about being honest with me?" Chuck's voice grew sharp for a second before he caught himself and continued. "And it's stupid to lie about this. I saw what happened, so why try to hide it from me?"

Silence blew through the air for a few painful moments. The replying voice was soft and meek. "I don't want you to worry."

"Lying is just going to make me worry more, kid. And right now, I have every damn right to be worried. You got yelled at by that bitch, screamed at Sasha to kill you, locked yourself in your room for almost two days, and you probably didn't eat the food I got you... Goddamnit, Blue. Don't try and say things are fine." He hissed, concern aching in his voice.

"... Don't call her that, please." She hesitantly murmured, a tiny crack in her voice. Chuck tried his best not to leave and go break the table. Instead, he groaned and thought out his next few sentences. Blue started shaking subtly, but surprisingly she didn't seem to let out any sobbing. The man sighed, and continued.

"What Ri did was not okay. I have the right to call her a bitch. And who knows what other things she's said to you because you don't want to tell me..." He muttered, letting out a sigh before he continued. "But... Goddamnit, I hate to say it, but she's right about one thing. You..."

"I'm a lousy piece of shit?" Blue interrupted. Chuck balled his hands into fists. A low growl came from his throat before he continued. "... First off, fuck that statement. You're not shit, don't think you are. You gotta stop putting yourself down like that. It's not good for your mental health. Second... She's right about you having to grow a spine."

Blue didn't reply and remained still. Chuck uncurled his hands, and took a long sigh. His voice raised a bit in volume. "You need to grow a backbone, kid... I'm sorry to be honest here but you're a real big pushover... And I'm worried about that. Being a pushover with these 'friends' you have is seriously unhealthy and will get you into more trouble."

Still no reply from the girl. Chuck sighed, and gave a small thumbs up without looking over his shoulder. Almost instantly both Blue's team and Whiskey charged into the room. The group of pokemon made their way to Chuck and Blue, and immediately seemed to dogpile on the girl. All of them except Whiskey, who would ultimately suffocate her if he tried. Instead, the dog just set his face on top of her head. She flinched, and sat up quickly. Pyro, who was climbing to sit on her chest, tumbled backwards into Sasha and Mary. Joey buzzed around her head, squeaking some random words Chuck couldn't understand.

The man's expression didn't change from his frown, but it lightened slightly. "... Anyways, I can see you don't want to talk about this. We can discuss it more later. But for now, I'm forcing you to get out of bed and do something. You gotta eat, though. That's not an option." He explained. Chuck hoisted himself up, and stared down at the stunned girl and the pokemon around her.

"... I'll go make breakfast. I guess you can lay here for a bit while I do. Just... Get up soon, for Arceus's sake." He muttered before walking out of the room.

Blue watched him go with blank eyes, and looked down at the pokemon in her lap. Tears finally started to run down her face as she tightly hugged the three. Joey brushed against her cheek, as if trying to wipe away the tears. The girl didn't smile, but she felt slightly better than she had been.

Chuck's words stuck into her mind, though. She briefly considered them, but decided to put them off until later. Her grip around Sasha, Mary, and Pyro tightened. The mareep seemed to keep herself closer to the girl, setting her head under Blue's chin. It was odd, but the girl welcomed it.

<div class="simpappname">Elliot Hampton</div>

<div class="simpappinfo">21 - Male - Bisexual</div>

<div class="simpappdesc">Appearance</div>
Elliot is about average height, standing at five feet and seven inches. He typically appears taller, as he keeps his posture straight at almost all times to appear more professional. His build at a younger age was pretty lanky and thin, but over time he has grown to look more defined and well-toned in muscle. His face shows a square jaw, small pointy nose, and an infestation of freckles. His green eyes are outlined with clearly visible eyebags. Long and light brown hair falls in his face often, and is almost always held up in a ponytail at the back of his head.
His clothing is fairly simple, with a simple short-sleeved shirt and long pants most of the time. The one thing he wears consistently is his poncho. Said poncho is a light beige color and covers up his neck almost entirely. It's nearly impossible to see him without it, as he wears it like his life depends on it. Elliot keeps his clothes clean as much as humanly possible when he has the chance, but dirt and other stains from working still manage to make their appearance there.

<div class="simpappdesc">Personality</div>
Obsessive is what most people would call him. Along with an overachiever, a neat freak, and the man who never seems to sleep. All of these are true to an extent.
He certainly is the overachiever. Elliot finds the need to do a lot of extra work whenever he sees a chance. As he sees it, the more work he puts into something the better it is. This attitude can lead him to performing almost stupid stunts if he believes it can improve anything he is working on. See that essay? Add more paragraphs explaining every small detail and explanation! Need a few more resources for a project? Find that and extra so there's more for later! Need a quick ghost type? Kill the one co-worker that keeps bothering the boss!
His constant need for improvement has led him to become a type of perfectionist. He doesn't leave his home until every nook and cranny is spotless and in the right place. He starts to feel anxiety when he realizes something isn't organized or is needlessly dirty. Elliot also has a habit of moving stuff ever-so-slightly. 'Making it look nicer' as he calls it.
His need for improvement has also caused him to perform constant all-nighters to work on his projects and jobs. He often seems to forget about food and water if he's in one of those moods. Because of this, his general demeanor is the epitome of a man who hasn't seen a bed in six days. His movements are slow and his voice is low and calm... Unless he's in one of his frenzies of "prefection!" and becomes a man high on ten cups of coffee.
In conversation, Elliot is surprisingly fairly calm and soft-spoken. Although, he is a curious soul and his questions can sometimes be fairly odd or awkward. Generally friendly as well as willing to help anyone in need of assistance. However, he tends to get annoyed easily with others and will more than clearly make that apparent. When he's annoyed, he tends to tense up and snap at small things that are going wrong. He speaks his mind most of the time, unless he is by Omega.
... Oh Omega. Elliot looks up to the man and puts him on a pedestal for all to see. Despite his absolute hatred of being told what to do, he seems to be more than willing to follow directions from Omega and his partners. He's extremely loyal to him and his cause, and will probably fight anyone who tries to ruin or degrade it. Elliot also comes off as a total suck-up around him. Some might say he is attracted to his boss, but it's honestly just the fact that he finds Omega and his cause interesting. Omega gave him a chance to escape his former reality, and Elliot adores him for it.

<div class="simpappdesc">History</div>
Lisa Hampton was alone for the months before Elliot was born. Before she arrived in Ashfield, she was a standing member of Oasis. Her life was happy at first, with a loving husband and a beautiful daughter. But unfortunately, luck decided to turn on her when her daughter was killed during a fishing trip. Heartbroken and enraged, Lisa was quick to blame her husband, who had been with the daughter at her final hour. She found that she was unable to tolerate him, even as he tried to explain what had happened. So when her daughter's funeral was over and her body was buried, Lisa took everything she owned and ran.
She wasn't alone for long, though. A couple months after she had began to settle into Ashfield and start to sell clothing for a living, Elliot was brought into the world. Lisa immediately started to dote on her son, giving him gifts, clothing, and excessive hugs and love.
But there was a flaw in Lisa's doting. She was terrified of losing another child like she had in Oasis. And so, she quickly became obsessively protective over her dear Elliot. She kept him locked inside the house constantly, keeping him in with scary stories about demons and horrible pokemon that would tear you to bloody pieces. And for the first couple years of his life, these stories kept Elliot confined in his room. He spent almost all of his days cleaning the house and trying to be a helper for his mother's clothing shop. He never once questioned how the people that came into the store had survived in the apparently bloodthirsty world outside.
But as he grew older, Elliot grew more curious about the world outside the house and shop. He began to ask his mother questions. If she could go outside, why couldn't he? When was he going to see the world? Could he at least play with the local boys that played right outside the shop?
No was always the answer. Every single time. Lisa kept reminding him of what had happened to his sister when she got too curious. Eaten by a sharpedo while his father did absolutely nothing.
A few times, Elliot had tried to sneak out to go play tag and hide-n-seek with the local children. But it wouldn't take long before Lisa would drag him inside and lock him in his room. They would get him into danger, she kept warning. She said that they would probably dare him to go venture off into the demon-infested woods if she had allowed him to stay. He needed to stay here where it was safe. Safe with her.
But the boy continued to whine about how lonely he was. He wanted friends, but his mother wasn't allowing to have them. Lisa did ultimately feel bad about that, but she didn't allow him to converse with the other children still. Instead, she caught him a chatot as a companion and friend. Elliot, at first disappointed in the gift, was fairly resentful to the bird. He wanted a human friend that he could have full conversations with, not some stupid pokemon...But over time he realized that he wasn't going to get his wish, so... He tried to form a bond with the chatot. Bernadette proved herself to be quite entertaining with her antics. She constantly repeated phrases and noises that confused customers, and proved to be a wonderful listener when Elliot wanted to vent out his frustrations.
The young man grew older, and became more involved with his mother's work. Along with obsessively cleaning the house and shop, he had taken to mending and making clothes to sell. His skills were impressive for his age, and his mother saw great potential for him. But... Elliot didn't feel fulfilled with it. He wanted to adventure and see the world for what it really was, not keep cooped up in some stupid house.
When he turned 16, he got his wish. Before then, he had only heard rumors of the witch of Terrene from customers. The concept intrigued him. A man with an unknown and mysterious cause working atop a mountain. Wonders and thoughts about what Omega was doing failed to leave his head, and it nearly drove him insane with curiosity. But whenever he asked his mother about anything to do with him, Lisa simply retorted with some off-handed comments about the man. He was a witch and probably unhinged. Elliot was to never go near him.
But he ignored her warnings. At that point, he was believing her words less and less by each passing day. He started to resent her overprotectiveness, and a hatred of her orders took form. He acted in passive aggressiveness whenever he was around her, and it nearly drove Lisa insane. She grew more forceful in her ways of keeping Elliot confined in the house, going as far as barricading his windowless room at the end of each day and ordering some customers she knew to drag him back if he tried to run without her looking.
Elliot finally snapped one day later in the year. He had caught a few glances of what seemed to be the mysterious Omega he had heard so much about. But when he tried to wave a greeting outside the window, Lisa stopped him and started to demand why he was so interested in Omega and his cause. The man never did give a response, instead storming off to his room and angrily sewing up some clothes.
His mother forgot to barricade the door that night, as she seemed to have been dead tired by the end of the day. Seeing this as his chance, Elliot quickly wrapped up a bag made up of old baby clothes and stored everything he thought he needed inside. And for good measure, he stole a good chunk out of the food storage before he disappeared into the night without a word.
He spent the next couple days wandering around Ashfield with Bernadette, though he knew he couldn't stay much longer without risking his mother finding him and dragging him back. So, he let himself take action on his curiosities around Omega. He had nowhere else to go, anyways, so maybe this was his best bet... Elliot soon joined up with a few followers of Omega, hopeful that the group would lead him to where he had hoped.
And soon enough, the group headed out of Ashfield and to Omega's camp. Along the way, Elliot took the time to gaze out and take notes on every single detail surrounding him. The outside world fascinated him beyond belief, and he was overjoyed. Even when his group ran into trouble along the way, he remained optimistic and excited.
After a few days, the group finally arrived at the camp. Elliot was quickly taken in as an explorer, and he took that title with as much pride as he possibly could. He worked day and night to do finish his work and more. He took every chance he could to explore to area around him and live the memories he never could as a young boy. He was content with this new life of his, and he hoped that he could work there for the rest of his life.
As the years went by, nothing too personal to him happened too much. He had gotten injured a few times from some of his adventures, but that was to be expected. The admittedly worst thing that happened was when he had to hide away for several hours when his mother came to the camp in hopes of finding her lost son. It took a lot of talking and persuasion rolls, but Lisa was finally coaxed into thinking that her son had not arrived at the camp, and was most likely somewhere else.
His hard work became a major factor in his new title as a research technician, which he received when he was about 19 years of age. He took this new job to heart, and began to work even more. He became more prone to all-nighters and reckless adventures in exchange for better results and data. And while he worked and worked, he still tried to find the time to train with Bernadette. Elliot was admittedly very tired, but it pained him when someone ordered him to take a break.
About a year later, a suggestion by Omega was made to him. Since Elliot was beginning to grow an interest in otherworldly forces in Terrene, it would perhaps help his research if he could find a ghost or a psychic type. The young man almost immediately grabbed his bag and dashed off into the forest as soon as Omega finished making the suggestion.
His choice in capturing a misdreavus was not an unintentional one. He wanted to potentially flatter his boss by capturing a pokemon that shared the same species as Edna, Omega's mismagius. This mindset ultimately turned on him, as he ended up catching a misdreavus that constantly stirred up trouble and tried to scare anyone that was in a 10 foot radius. His troubles only ensued when he accidentally caught a young starly that had decided to make its nest into his abode. The starly proved to be less of a hassle than the misdreavus, but still required a lot of time and attention due to being a young hatchling.
He still hasn't given up his hard work to this day. In fact, it has only intensified. He struggles with balancing his time with his work and team daily, and is overall very tired. But Elliot is still content with his free life, away from his confined walls in Ashfield.

Blue took a deep breath as she stumbled across the terrain, her eyes trained on the ground. She had... Really no idea why she was out here in the first place. Maybe because she felt the need to try and catch some food for Chuck's stand? Yeah, it was probably that. She didn't hold any weapons in her head, but that was fine with her... She felt odd that her team could probably handle hunting if needed.

Speaking of her team, they were starting to grow in numbers. Sasha and Mary took the front, as usual. The mareep had her eyes set on the area around them, waiting for any danger to approach and threaten her team. Mary held her focus more on the little stunky, who was rolling around happily in the dirt. Joey merely kept himself buzzing by the human's head, murmuring thoughts aloud and examining the Desert Strip.

The walk seemed pretty uneventful, for the most part. The pokemon after time began to start a conversation with each other, leaving Blue alone to herself basically. The girl sighed, and looked up at the sky that matched her name. It was... Actually pretty nice out. Sure, it was hot and she felt like dying right there in her heavy jacket, but nice.

Suddenly, a loud squeak came from Pyro as he quickly sped off into the strip. Sasha bleated loudly, and began to give chase after the baby pokemon. Mary and Blue quickly exchanged worried expressions, and followed after the two running pokemon. The cutiefly let out a shocked series of buzzing, and zoomed from behind.

Summertime was always a bit iffy in Dawn's head. It was horribly hot with little to no way of the woman cooling herself off, as well as those cursed flash thunderstorms. Disgusting, both of them. But still... Hunting was plentiful this time of year, with the growing amount of pokemon in the clear daylight. It was much better than digging through large amounts of snow for some pathetic rat.

Although her motives for being out in the forest included hunting, she wasn't exactly doing that. Instead, Dawn was lounging on a sturdy branch up high in the air, clearly disregarding her safety. Her little bidoof laid on his trainer's stomach, although he wasn't as relaxed as the other. He was used to cutting down trees, not napping in them!

The two simply lounged in the branch for a good while, staring off into the forest and sky. One thing about Summer above everything was the nice breeze and nature. Just something about all of the trees and flowers made her feel at ease. It might be because she was away from the ocean, or it might be just the natural feeling this forest brings. Dawn didn't even know herself.

But just as she was about to doze off, a sound snapped her back to the real world. She sat up immediately, and her gaze quickly shifted to the ground. Oh right, there were other things around here. Hopefully it was a good-sized pokemon. Although she had literally no weapons except her bare hands, she seemed pretty confident to fight anything that resembled food, even if it was an ursaring.

Kid let out a squeak as the human positioned herself on the branch, staring intently at the ground with her working eye. He looked down in fear, and began to climb onto Dawn's back. There he would cling to the woman's long hair so he couldn't lose her if she started to take off after something.
