Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new world, and give it purpose.

Terrene continues to heat
up, both in temperature and in conflict. Beta is asking for spies to infiltrate Omega's camp, while Dentelle simply wants to inquire after the scientist's progress. Later in the season, Beta is hosting his annual crater city tournament, where people can test their Pokemon and their leadership and strategies against one another.

Summer will be here until
September. The heat of summer is here in full force, as well as the accompanying summer thunderstorms. Bug, electric, and fire types all thrive while others wilt under these conditions.

They'd had more success with getting supplies for the trip to the peninsula than Finnian had initially thought, which meant that he actually had some money left over and hadn't had to give away all of his hard-won items either. Maybe he'd gotten ripped off somehow, or maybe not, but he was content with what he'd done and therefore was happy. None of his Pokemon seemed to care either, though they generally didn't care what he did, particularly his newest one. Speaking of which...

"I need to name you two," he commented shortly after they'd set off in the forest, Lola buzzing along after him and his Wimipod perched on his shoulder. The Rowlet was fluttering along above, preferring to be on his own and travel under his own locomotion. Besides, the Wimipod freaked out whenever he got close to it and that got annoying after a little while if he was being completely honest.

When Finnian spoke, the Wimipod perked up and looked at his trainer, but the Rowlet mostly ignored him, preferring to look as though he didn't care.

"I guess we'll start with you," Finnian said, looking to the Pokemon on his shoulder. "Let's go with... Amatti!" Lola buzzed quietly as she explained to the Wimipod what was going on, and the bug thought for a long moment, not sure if he liked it or not.

"What do you think?" he asked Lola quietly, aware that Finnian was looking at him expectantly while they walked but caring more what the beautiful Combee thought of it.

"I like it," she said with a motion much like a shrug. She didn't care either way honestly, but it definitely wasn't a bad name as far as names went.

After the newly named Amatti nodded slightly to show that he liked the name, Finnian turned his attention to the Rowlet above. "Yours is harder... What would you like?" He fell silent for several long minutes as he debated. "Oh, Theron!" he exclaimed suddenly, making Amatti jump. "Sorry buddy," Finnian said apologetically, reaching up to pat the poor Wimipod.

Theron sighed but nodded as well, committing the series of noises to memory so he'd know when the stupid human wanted his attention.

With his small army of Pokemon trailing behind, Finnian decided it was high time he entered town and tried to get some supplies for himself so that he could properly set out on an adventure and see what he could find. What he really wanted to do was head out for the semi-nearby Dragon Peninsula, but he knew better than to make such a lengthy trip without some food or something of that sort. Could he get by at least a little bit with his Pokemon to search for food for him? Possibly. Was he going to take that risk? Definitely not.

"Stick close you guys," he said as they entered the town proper, trying to find someone who was selling enough supplies to get him through the journey. He also kind of wanted a tent if at all possible so that he didn't have to sleep in a tree every night (because lately he was a bit standoffish when it came to climbing trees).

Lola and his as of yet unnamed Wimipod hovered around him, Lola quite literally and his Wimipod essentially under his feet as he walked, looking around at the humans nervously. His newest catch, his Rowlet, perched on his shoulder, mostly buried in her newly made scarf which made it appear as though Finnian was carrying around a ball of wool on his shoulder for no reason. Given what the townsfolk knew of him, they didn't even give that a second glance.

He finally found a neat little shop that seemed as though it would suit his needs and entered, his footsteps almost covering up the sound of his Wimipod's little feet skittering across the floor. "Uh... hi," he said a bit nervously, not entirely sure how to go about this. "I need um... about eight supply packs and a tent? If you have them? And I've got some tokens to pay for them! Maybe 390? Or I can trade you this Sweet Heart for some of it," he finished, nodding decisively at the end with a confidence that he didn't feel.

After all the chaos had erupted, one would have thought Finnian would prefer to stay inside. Truthfully, he had for some time, but now he just wanted to get out and continue having adventures. Which, honestly, was why he was once again was lurking near the edge of the woods. He wasn't really doing anything important or interesting, just hanging about and allowing his Combee to get some exercise. He'd been trying to get to know her better, which was difficult considering they didn't speak a common language. That wasn't going to stop him anytime soon though.

She would buzz away from him, far off towards the edge of the forest and somewhat into it, occasionally disappearing from his sight until he would start to rise in order to search for her, only to shoot back to him before he could fully rise. He suspected she was watching him to see how far she could get and for how long before he began to worry. As it turned out, not too far. He was just as much of a sociable creature as she was, and it alarmed him when she disappeared. He didn't want anything bad to happen to her.

Finnian had decided to hang about the village for another week after he'd made a new friend in the Combee, mostly so they could get to know one another better. It was far more peaceful in the village than it had been in the forest, but Finnian could tell the Combee was a rather timid sort. He'd been trying to become friends with her and show her around the village without stressing her out too much, and he thought he was doing a good job thus far. She hadn't freaked out and run to hide or anything like that, so he deemed it a worthy exercise.

That day, they were hanging out on the outskirts of the village. Finnian was making drawings in the snow with a stick while the Combee fluttered around and told him what to do through gestures and buzzes. He'd gotten her a little scarf to help keep her warm, and while she didn't like wearing it much it was pretty useful.

As Finnian stepped back to get a better view of what he'd just drawn, he realized she'd led him into depicting a rather ornate flower in the snow. "That's pretty," he said. He certainly couldn't have done it without her considering he didn't really know how to do art. He could sing fairly well but that was about it when it came to his artistic and creative abilities.

Finnian loved wandering about the village, even if everyone else didn't. They all knew to keep an eye on him when he went out and about, and he'd gotten much better at keeping out of trouble these days. Honestly he had. It was just that sometimes people didn't really notice that he had.

He was more on the outskirts of the village that day, playing in the snowdrifts that had gathered recently. He didn't get to see snow too often, but he loved it when he did because it was so much fun to make snow castles and forts and whatnot. A long time ago, when he was much younger, his parents used to have snowball fights with him to tire him out, and he looked back on them fondly. They didn't do that anymore, not being able to get around like they used to and also not willing to flounder about in the snow when he was perfectly capable of doing so himself.

So he was out on his own, making a rather intricate snow castle because that was the only thing he could think of to do at the moment. At least, he thought it was intricate. In reality, it looked like a five-year-old had built it, but he was proud of it and that was all that mattered. Right? Right.

As he got up to go get more snow to pile next to him, he abruptly tripped after taking only three steps and landed face-first in the snow. Well, of course. Then again, he knew he was a clutz but this seemed strange. When he got up, he understood immediately why he'd tripped because there was something sticking out of the snow, sitting askew. He wouldn't even have seen it were it not for the pink that poked above the drift.

Finnian plopped down next to it, pulling the package out of the snow and grinning when he saw the little heart on it. Aw, how cute! He couldn't see anyone's name on it, and it seemed as though it had just gotten left behind, so he gently unwrapped the oddly shaped bundle to see what was inside of it.
