Welcome

Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new universe, this new world, and give it purpose. (Our site is best viewed in Firefox or Chrome.)

Events

It's the most wonderful
time of the year- meaning, the time of Delibird gifts and of winter festivals! And as always, our plot events are still going strong.

Season

winter will be here until
Aside from the western Great Forest, which is too warm, and the Desert Strip, which is too dry, snow begins to fall across the region. The chill of the season has just about every area firmly in its grasp. Ice and Dark types become more common as the temperature drops and the daylight fades.

ALPHA & OMEGA EVENT

Omega thinks he is close to a breakthrough in his research, but he needs materials. Mainly, metal. He and his team have identified a few rich sources of iron in Onix Peak, but his team is few in number and doesn't have the manpower to make repeated trips into and back from each tunnel. So he's put out a call for volunteers to go into the mountain and return with the metals they find. They have to travel into the Rolling Mountains and discover his base. Omega and his people with them provide the character with a pickaxe, a bag, and directions to the tunnels in Onix Peak.

The first Alpha & Omega event thread is a freebie; your character does not have to buy the supply packs and you do not have to make travel threads to get them to the Rolling Mountains. However, if your character is going to be staying at Omega's base for a while and making repeated trips into Onix Peak, and/or if you want to do socials, devs, or adventures in the Rolling Mountains, your character will have to buy the supply packs and will have to go through the travel threads to get there.

Also, if your character travels into the Rolling Mountains and is assisting Omega, they cannot constantly be traveling into Crater for the Training event; if your character is in the Rolling Mountains for the Alpha & Omega event, you are limited to completing only ONE training thread in the Training event. Alternatively, if your character completed a number of Training event threads before traveling to assist Omega, they cannot go back and complete any more after traveling to the Rolling Mountains.

The pay for those completing work for Omega is nearly nonexistent; Omega is a man of little means aside from his projects, so pay is minimal. However, people are welcome to keep whatever they may find in the tunnels; so long as all of the metal is returned to him, he has little use for most precious gems and other items.

These threads work like regular modded adventure threads, though they do not take up an adventure topic slot. You may only have one Alpha & Omega event thread open at a time. Additionally, participation in this event will add to a counter for plot advancement, slowly leading us into the next phase of our plot...

Progress Calculations:

Spoiler (Show/Hide)
Mods and admins: let me (Jani) count the posts, so that double-counting does not happen. I will edit each player post with a little note when I have counted it. Let me know if you think I have missed something!

Also: you can roll for finding metal whenever you want. Additionally, it is acceptable for a character to have to retreat without finding any metal.

1 post in easy tunnel = .5 progress point
1 post in medium tunnel = .75 progress point
1 post in hard tunnel = 1 progress point
Finding metal in easy tunnel = 2 progress point
Finding metal in medium tunnel = 4 progress points
Finding metal in hard tunnel = 6 progress points
