Welcome

Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new universe, this new world, and give it purpose. (Our site is best viewed in Firefox or Chrome.)

Events

It's the most wonderful
time of the year- meaning, the time of Delibird gifts and of winter festivals! And as always, our plot events are still going strong.

Season

winter will be here until
March. Aside from the western Great Forest, which is too warm, and the Desert Strip, which is too dry, snow begins to fall across the region. The chill of the season has just about every area firmly in its grasp. Ice and Dark types become more common as the temperature drops and the daylight fades.

This festival seemed empty for what it was supposed to be. There weren't many people passing by and if so, they were probably chowing down on the free food. Blue had checked that place out, and only briefly looked about before bursting out after seeing cooked mareep. The sight of it semi-disgusted her. Blue was now merely sitting in the snow mound where she had been since her team got there.

Sasha seemed to be rather close to Blue, almost pressing against her sides. Blue sighed, knowing that the mareep had seen the cooked food herself and ran out as well. Mary lied close to the mareep and kept murmuring unknown words. Pyro and Fluffy were keeping themselves busy playing in the snow. Well, it was more of the latter than the other. Pyro seemed to be trying to destroyed the snow, and frequently went rolling through it. His breath did some of the job, said breath being automatically warm and melting the snow. Fluffy, on the other hand, was a very still durant. She merely just watched the baby stunky, sometimes digging into the snow around her and throwing it at him. Pyro didn't seem to notice.

Blue was merely sitting by, her coat zipped and hood up. She watched the small pokemon with happiness and petted Sasha and Mary. She could feel Mary flinch whenever she did so, so it was mainly Sasha. Blue glanced up from her pokemon to look around the area around her. Something quickly caught her eye, and Blue's face seemed to brighten up. "Hey, Ri! Hey!" The girl rose her hand from petting to wave at the redhead. She hadn't seen the girl since Fall. It didn't seem like a long time, but it did to her.

Ri had noticed that the festival wasn't too hectic and crowded. Which was fine with her, since she wasn't too fond of dealing with an excessive amount of people. She could... Tolerate it, but she preferred less people, honestly. Plus, it was better for less people to step on Venom's tail or trip Arashi. Yuki was still fine, since she still had to be carried via basket. The redhead herself, was enjoying the festival. She had no qualms taking some samples of the food, particularly the meat, such as the glazed torchic and smoked tepig. It was actually rather good. She was currently holding some of that sample, meat on a stick.

She was wandering, with Venom, Arashi, and Sai all following her. Similar to the Anniversary Fair, she wasn't getting too engaged with anything, content to wander around and only look around.

Then as she was walking, she heard her name being called out. Ri's head jerked up as she looked to locate the source of the voice. She grinned when she saw it belonged to Blue. Someone she honestly didn't mind the company of, which wasn't too common, given that Blue was human. She walked over to the younger female, and sat down next to her in the snow.

"I see you're here too." She said with a friendly tone, just before she took another bite out of her meat stick, which was thankfully tepig meat. It'd be weird explaining why she was eating mareep, since she'd seen them selling it around. Er, she'd eaten some earlier, because she figured she had... Less of a problem with such things than Blue would. She decided to not mention the whole 'I ate flesh from the same type of pokemon as Sasha' thing.

Venom chose to stay behind on the other side of Ri, simply staring intensely at Sasha. He wasn't saying anything, so he was actually being quiet for once. Ri guessed he wasn't... Upset or anything. Probably because he kind of almost murdered the Mareep last time in a joust....

Sai wasn't sure if she should approach Blue's pokemon, and similarly stayed at Ri's side. Though, she was eyeing the young Stunky and Houndour rather warily. Come to think of it, Ri didn't see those pokemon with Blue at the fair. She imagined Stunky came from the egg, seeing as it was purple. The egg had also been purple. As for the Houndour... She imagined it most likely that she joined Blue sometime after the fair.

Yuki was a little trapped, but seemed to be happily napping away, unbothered.

Arashi... Didn't quite have the reservations or disinterest that the rest of Ri's pokemon had. She instantly began bounding towards the Stunky and Durant, disrupting the snow as she went. She actually tripped on the snow once, before getting back up to dash towards them. "(Hi! Hi! Are you playing a game?!)" She asked excitedly.

Blue smiled in glee as the woman sat next to her. The girl eyed the pokemon that were near her, noting the newer members. A tiny seal and zebra. Blue assumed that they both came from the two eggs Ri was hauling at the Anniversary Fair. Blue waved in greeting to Sai, but slowly lowered her hand as she noted Venom. She felt somewhat uncomfortable with the snake, especially since the joust from last time. Blue glanced over at Sasha, who was murmuring something to Mary, and winced.

The girl shook her head lightly and turned her head to face Ri again. "So how've you been..? How's traveling going?" The girl asked calmly with a tilt of her head. She took a quick glance at the meat the other was holding and flinched for a second until she realized it wasn't mareep.

Sasha sighed as a familiar human took their place by her human. The sheep sighed even more as she realized Venom was by their side. She had no quarrel with Sai, but the seviper made her want to shove a cactus down someone's throat. She turned to the houndour sitting by her and flashed a smile. "(Mary, you haven't met these guys, right? This is Sai and Snakes. Great pokemon. Although the latter has attempted murder on me. How have you guys been anyways?)" The mareep turned to the others with her smile.

Mary tilted her head as her friend spoke, and her gaze shifted to the seviper and psyduck. "(U-Uhh... H-Hello...)" The pup murmured a greeting, lowering her head and trying to hide behind Sasha. Mary turned her gaze to Pyro, who was still rolling in the snow. However, another face had joined the stunky. The Blitzle seemed... Hyper. "(Sasha, is Pyro going to be okay..?)" The houndour murmured. "(If he isn't, there's gonna be an issue. Pyro, don't get carried away!)" Sasha replied, making Mary flinch.

Pyro himself was beyond happy once a new face joined to play. The stunky's eyes lit up in excitement and he started rolling around more. "(Yeah! Flu, try and catch us!)" The baby shouted to the Durant, who lazily threw a snow lump at him in response. Pyro smiled and turned to Arashi. "(How about we ambush her in snow. She's no fun, anyways.)"

Fluffy, who was ignoring the child by now, merely just lied in the snow and tried to fall asleep. It would be hard though with all the damn noise.

Ri shrugged. "It's going fine. Just down here for the Winter Festival before I go up to the mountains." She noticed how Blue flinched at her meat stick before calming down. She guessed that the kid might've thought it was Mareep meat, before recognizing that it wasn't and relaxing. So, yep. It seemed the redhead was right and Blue was rather uncomfortable with the idea of people eating Sasha's kind. Then her eyes drifted to the pokemon who were playing in the snow. She grinned slightly. "Seems they're getting along." She said, but she immediately took on a vaguely pained expression when Arashi tried to slam into Fluffy. Her palm met the side of her forehead. "Dammit... Sorry, sorry... Arashi is probably learning things from Venom or something...."

Venom hissed. "(It was a competition orchestrated by humans.)" He argued. "(You were the one who was willing to engage me. Not my fault you're so weak.)" He grumbled, before making a stronger effort to use the human's opaque body mass to hide behind, so he didn't have to deal with the sheep's stupid face.

Sai waved shyly at the Houndour who seemed to be on the quieter and less intense side. It was nice to meet someone like that, even if... It wasn't much of a meeting at all. She guessed it was nice enough to know that there were other pokemon like that out there. Yuki counted... She guessed, but not really. The Seel wasn't shy, moreso disinterested and disconnected.

Arashi looked between the mentioned Pyro, who she was going to just call Stinky, but she guessed Pyro might sound a bit cooler, and the sheep that looked like she was made of clouds. Huh! Clouds seemed to boss Pyro around like Pointy did to her and the rest! Though, it sounded like Pointy was better than Clouds. Cool to know. Anyways, Pyro was a very good playmate! Arashi bounced up and down as well. Even bounding around in circles, she yelped happily. "(Yeah, yeah!)" She cheered. Then she did her best to glare, though it came out a bit as an angry pout, aimed at the... Shiny one who refused to cooperate! "(Yeah!)" She had no idea what ambush meant.... But it... Started with the same sound as attack, so they probably meant the same thing, right? With her hooves flashing white, quick as a bullet, she was trying to slam straight into the Shiny one.

Blue nodded to Ri, taking a glance at the stick once more before replying. "The mountains are wonderful... I haven't been there before, but I'm fascinated by them." She blinked, and glanced over at Sasha. Blue's eyes went to the blitzle and stunky and she smiled brighter. "Yeah, I guess so-" The girl flinched back as the small zebra tackled Fluffy, the durant looking like it was tossed lightly in the air. "Oh god, oh god, oh god." Blue murmured, not knowing how the ant would react.

Pyro blinked as his new playmate went to tackle his teammate. He had meant throwing snowballs at the durant, but this will do. The baby cheered quietly and ran up to join Arashi at her side. The stunky appeared content at first, too busy with the excitement that he didn't notice Fluffy at first. "(Wowie, you're strong!)" Pyro cheered to the blitzle.

Suddenly, a swift change of movement came from the snow in front of them. The durant, now red with anger, glared at the two babies. "(I bet you put her up to that stunt, you little shit! Get over here!)" Fluffy screeched, advancing towards the two. Pyro's fur rose up in fear and he went bolting the other way, the durant quickly following.

Pyro couldn't see anything that was happening at the moment, he was just pleading that the ant was just joking. She wouldn't hurt him, right..? Right!? The stunky tried to move faster, but caused himself to trip over his feet and fall into the snow. His ears rang for a bit until he felt pinchers wrap around him. Pain started, and the baby grew more panicked. "(Mama! Mama!)"

Blue stood in complete shock as Flu pinned Pyro and started to gnaw at him. She glanced at Ri in horror and she tried to hoist herself up. She dug through her bag, trying to find the durant's pokeball. Sasha had already left her side. As Blue ran towards the group, Sasha had seemed to be holding Flu headfirst in the snow, screeching in anger and probably yelling curses.

Sasha put on a fake smile as Venom spoke, pride forcing herself to defend herself. "(Well, you're the murderer here. I'm pretty sure the only reason you're stronger than me is because you feast on the idea of death.)" She replied calmly. Before she could add on, chaos started erupting. She glanced around to see Fluffy angrily chasing Pyro. At first, Sasha didn't think much of it. The ant got overdramatic easily, and it was going to eventually happen to them. She was about to say something to Sai until her adopted son started screaming.

Sasha immediately turned her head to see the two locked in the snow, Flu's pinchers around the stunky's shoulder. The mareep leaped up from her spot in the snow and burst towards the two. The sheep braced herself at first, and then tackled the durant with all she could muster. The two tumbled in the snow, coldness making Sasha shiver. The mareep stood upon the ant, holding its head in the snow. "(... What the actual fuck, Flu! He's just a baby, he's a teammate, for god's sake! Get your stupid shit together and stop being overdramatic! You just cause problems with being that way! You fucking-)"

The cursing went on for a couple of seconds, and Sasha didn't give a crap that she was around babies. She didn't care that her human came towards them. She didn't care that Flu was put back in her pokeball. Sasha started yelling at the pokeball, but finally stopped. She sighed, and went over to Pyro, who was shaking with his shoulder bleeding.

Ri took her final bites, cleaning it of meat, before tossing the stick aside, letting it land in the snow somewhere behind her. She listened to Blue. She didn't say anything, but she figured Blue might've had experience in the mountains before Terrene. She said 'are.' Present tense, as if Blue had seen them for herself, but she immediately contradicted herself saying she'd never been. Damn, the amnesia really fucked people up, didn't it? Ri's first reaction to Blue's reaction was to bite her lip. She wasn't sure how violent Fluffy was, as last she saw... The Durant was simply a little odd.

Her breath caught in her throat, and she was about to go running in case Fluffy attacked Arashi. However, the steel-type hadn't turned on her assailant, rather the baby of Blue's group. The young Stunky tried to escape, but was caught and bled under the Durant's grip. She restrained herself, not sure if trying to intervene was really the best course of action. So, awkwardly, she reached into her pockets and took out a potion. Without really looking, she offered it to Blue. "... It's a potion. It's supposed to heal or something... I think it's made from berries or something..." She said quietly to Blue, still not quite looking.

Arashi didn't notice Shiny's immediate anger at first, focusing on Pyro and glowing under the praise. "(Thanks! I know, it's pretty awesome!)" Then she yelped out of surprise, when the Shiny one suddenly was screaming and approaching far too quickly. Though, the Shiny seemed extremely fixated on Pyro next to her. She was stunned for a bit too long, before she tried to go after Pyro. Didn't Shiny know the rules of the game?! You weren't supposed to attack pokemon on your team! She was cheating! She couldn't quite focus, and couldn't speed up her dash, and was tripping over snow. So, she was stuck in the snow when Pyro's cries of pain rang out. Something weird burned underneath Arashi's skin, and she kind of wanted to kick Shiny in the face now. Really hard. Harder than she did last time. She struggled to stand up again and bound over.

However, by the time she arrived, Shiny was gone. Arashi looked around confusedly. "(H-Hey! Where'd the cheater go?!)" She whined loudly. She hopped over to Pyro and bent down. "(Sorry you lost... Shiny was cheating. She was a cheater and being mean.)" Arashi wasn't sure why she was apologizing, but it kinda felt right.

Venom only tilted his head in response to the sheep's words. "(Of course I'm a murderer. I kill to survive, and I kill because it's fun. I like fights, and killing means I win.)" He pointed out, seemingly not offended at all by the sheep's words. In fact, he sounded confused as to why he would ever be offended. Then the cries of a child distracted them. He watched passively as the ant was chased off from attacking the skunk, the child of the their group. Honestly, he thought it was a waste. Why attack the child like that? Tch. No self control. Besides, the skunk was better than the zebra, as he actually had claws. He could grow up and be a part of their party's strength, since he sensed their human was wimpier than his. Anyway, he only was barely interested in the altercation.

Sai had been shocked by the display. Her attention had been ripped from the Houndour by the attack of a child. Anger had boiled in her, thinking that the Durant could've easily attacked Arashi instead. She didn't know Arashi for long, but she was a fucking kid, barely able to defend herself from a clearly more experienced pokemon such as Durant. However, before she was able to harness her headache against the wretched steel-type, Fluffy was recalled. Growling under her breath, Sai kicked at the snow out of frustration.

All Yuki had understood was that screeching and anger was outside her basket. So, she curled up tighter. It sounded like the wrong kind of interesting to get wrapped up in.

Blue stood in small shock, clenching the pokeball in one hand, almost shaking, and the potion Ri gave her in the other. Sasha was still shouting as the girl stood up, and she stared rather wide-eyed at the pokeball. Blue shook her head slightly and set it in her pack. The girl suddenly turned to the stunky in the snow and approached quickly. Even when Sasha tried to grab Pyro and the blitzle close by, Blue quickly picked up the baby and backed up to where she was sitting initially.

Blue glanced over at Ri before she took the potion and attempted to open it. Pyro tried to scramble away in his shock from the prior event, but Blue merely wrapped her free arm around him and opened the bottle with her teeth. "Come on, Pyro, this will help..." The girl murmured, offering it to the baby. Unsurprisingly, the stunky tried to refuse, continuing his struggle.

Blue winced as she tried to make Pyro drink it, but the only thing that made him do so were some words from Sasha. Once he did, the stunky once again tried to free himself from Blue's arms, and he succeeded. The skunk ran past Sasha, who had tried to hug him, and towards the zebra.

Pyro hated the drink the human had given him, it tasted good but terrible at the same time. But, like mama promised, he was able to play with his playmate again. The stunky ran towards the blitzle, his shoulder wound now drying up. "(I'm baaack and okay! Sorry for the scare, I didn't know Pinchy was like that. Mama seemed very angry...)" He turned to glance at the mareep, who was now just staring in worry at him. He waved with his paw and smiled at Arashi. "(You wanna play in the snow again?)"

Sasha narrowed her eyes at the two babies before going to sit beside Mary again. The sheep was shaking as she sat down, both from anger and fear of what could have happened. Flu could have attacked the other instead, and Venom would only blame her for it. That ant could have killed Pyro if it was quick enough. The mareep started shaking more.

A paw was set upon the sheep's, and Mary spoke in a nervous tone. "(S-Sashi... C-Calm down, y-you aren't normally like this... It's scaring m-me...)" The houndour murmured, ears pinned back and a worried expression on her face. Sasha sighed, still shaking. "(It's nothing, Mary... Just shock... That's all.)" She assured the dog before staring at Venom and Sai.

"(... Is your kid alright..?)"

Ri didn't know what else to do or say as she watched Blue pick up the young, injured Stunky. The kid had accepted Ri's potion, and was trying to feed to Pyro, murmuring to him to encourage him to drink. Blue had... Almost frozen up it seemed, she was... A little despondent and from what Ri could see she wasn't... That alert and was a bit running on.... Autopilot or something. She wasn't sure where the phrase came from, but the redhead questioned little of the thoughts that crossed her mind.

Blue was different from Ri. She'd always known that... But sometimes some reminders were bigger than others. It seemed to be a bit difficult, but Pyro finally accepted the potion. Then immediately ran off. She sighed. "Seems your Pyro is a bit of a fighter." She remarked quietly. "Can't be that bad if he's already on his feet." She wasn't sure how comforting she was, but she was doing her best to reassure Blue that Pyro really was fine. Despite the attack, the child did seem okay...

Arashi was bouncing on her feet again, worriedly watching as Pyro was picked up by the smaller human. "(Oh, oh, oh...!)" She whimpered softly to herself, repeating herself on a loop. She hoped Pyro would be okay! Though, he did seem alright, as the Stunky came running back as soon as he could. She smiled at Pyro's assertions that the skunk was alright. "(Woo! I'm glad you're okay! Yeah, let's play again!)" Now that the cheater was gone, she was sure that their play time could resume, undisturbed and pure. She hopped around in circles around Pyro, kicking up snow as she went. "(Snow's really cool, y'know!)"

Sine Fluffy was gone, Sai had to calm down. Okay, okay. She was fine. Arashi was fine and.... Pyro seemed to be fine, apparently, easily bouncing back. She needed to take her mind off this. She walked over to Yuki's basket and peered over the edge. "(Yuki, you doing alright?)"

"(Mmhm...)" The Seel softly murmured, not even lifting her head or opening her eyes. "(Anything important happen?)"

"(Ah... There was some... Trouble, amongst the other human's pokemon.)" Sai explained.

"(.... Ah. I see. Okay, then. Thanks for asking after me....)" Yuki seemed to trail off, clearly losing interest in the conversation.

Sai sighed, and guessed that meant Yuki wasn't bothered by the scream. She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing, in full honesty.

Venom slithered back around and tilted his head, since he couldn't shrug. "(Eh. She seems alright. As bouncy and borderline annoying as always.)" He answered.

"He sure is accident prone... I worry for him." Blue responded to Ri with a worried edge to her voice. "I got.. Um... Smacked in the face with a beer bottle because the people in the bar thought he was a demon... He probably would have been killed if Fluffy was in her pokeball." The girl didn't know why she was admitting that accident, but it was the example that she thought of first. She glanced over at Pyro and blinked. She glanced at her bag and sighed. "I should probably put him in a pokeball soon, I'm scared of what could happen."

Meanwhile, Pyro was elated to be with Arashi again. He bounded around in the snow, cheering to himself. "(Yay! Let's play again!)" He cheered, rolling around in the snow. He sat and pawed at the snow as the blitzle started hopping around. "(Yeah, it's real cool! We don't have it where I'm from!)"

The stunky paused for a moment, and bounced up. "(Hey, watch this!)" He cheered and kicked around the snow for a bit. Once there was a little pile of snow, Pyro approached it and started to blow at it. His usually hot breath started to melt the snow in front of him, and turned to water on the white powder. He felt a little proud of himself. Mary had mentioned that he had an organ for breathing fire if he had naturally hot breath like her.

Sasha sighed in relief as Sai went to go check on the kid in the basket. To be honest, the sheep wasn't too impressed by the seel, as it barely made any interaction or even movement. She glanced at Venom's remark and sighed. "(You shouldn't call the kid annoying, it's just that normal kid energy. She'll probably grow out of it when she's older. Thankfully, Pyro was a good kid at the start, despite his uh... Destructive tendencies.)" The mareep thought back to him often scratching the human whenever she held him.

"(What are the kid's names, by the way?)" Mary added to cause a sudden break of silence. The dog was genuinely curious and thought the two babies were honestly adorable. Unlike Sasha, the houndour thought the seel was adorable, if a little naive.

Ri rolled her eyes. "Yeah... Some people apparently have this weird as all fuck notion that dark-types are evil and dangerous." She snorted. "I mean, they're not any worse than any other pokemon that could burn down your house. Or your face. People are fucking weird about what they choose to be scared of." She remarked. Then she shrugged. "It's up to you, but I'd say that's a good call. It's... Good to have a safeguard in place, in case you need to grab them and run." She would never regard Venom and the other as her possessions, or that she allowed them their freedom. They had their freedom, and Ri wasn't someone to take it from them. Which was why she didn't try to cram them inside their pokeballs all the time. The thought was pretty disgusting, honestly.

Arashi tilted her head. "(You too?)" She asked excitedly, as she bounced in the snow. Though, her bouncing was slightly less effective due to the snow getting in the way a bit, when she went to bend her legs to power her bouncing. "(What do you wanna play?)" She asked excitedly. "(Can't fight, since that's not a game you play with pokemon you know and like!)"

Then she stopped bouncing and watched Pyro. She stared, practically mesmerized by the Stunky's ability to melt the snow. "(Wow! How do you do that? The Yellow one has some funny tricks! She can make water from nothing! It's pretty sweet, but this is cooler! Imagine if you could do this to more than just snow! Like... Rocks!)" Arashi's fantasies of destruction seemed to be running off with her a bit.

Venom scoffed at Sasha's advice. "(... It's not the enthusiasm that's the problem...)" He grumbled, lowering his head to the ground. "(... Okay, maybe it is a little... But not all of it.)" And that was the extent of what the Seviper seemed willing to share. The excitable zebra was slightly annoying but mostly... The Seviper was having trouble wrapping his head around having to share the human's attention with even more pokemon... Especially ones he didn't see as very useful. Due to the duck's encouragement, he was trying to keep an open mind.... But it was hard. It was hard to think that maybe these children might one day be useful in a fight... But Sai kept pushing him to.

Sai looked to the Houndour. "(Oh.)" She pointed to Arashi, over by where she was playing with her new Stunky friend. "(That's Arashi.)" Then the Psyduck peered into the basket again, where Yuki was snoozing away. "(This one's name is Yuki.)" She said, introducing the babies of the group. Then she withdrew from the basket and gazed over at the dual-type. "(So... I'm Sai. What's your name?)" She asked the Houndour gently.

Blue shivered as Ri spoke. Dark types, evil and dangerous? If anything, dark types have done no bad to her. She glanced over at Mary, who seemed to be getting into conversation, thankfully. The dog was simply lost and timid when they first met her, not a demon. She wondered if there was a thing for ghost types too, considering her initial discomfort with some litwicks. That might of been just her being a scaredy-cat. "They do..? Well, sucks to be as ignorant as them..." She murmured under her breath.

"But yeah... I'll put him in an put him out... Might keep him in as we go to Fairy Island, I don't want anything to happen to him if I slip up..." Blue murmured, talking to herself. She almost immediately caught herself before she could go into a full-on argument with herself. "Oh, sorry! Anyways... I got a job, honestly feel like I'm handling two with my boss's um... Behavior, I guess?" She was eager to change the subject and steer away from prior event. She felt bad about talking about Chuck in a sorta negative tone, though.

The stunky just simply sat, looking at the melted snow. He smiled as Arashi started praising him, the feeling of positive attention never failing to lighten his moods. "(Maybe when I'm older! It's gonna be a pain to wait, though... But still! I wanna melt rocks!)" He cheered, bouncing up and hopping about with the blitzle. "(Mama! Can you teach me how to melt rocks!)" He then shouted to Sasha before going back to hopping about.

The mareep chuckled a bit. "(Sure! Maybe when we get home!)" She replied to the baby. She turned to Venom and shrugged. "(Like I said, childhood energy. That enthusiasm could turn into... Um... Stamina for fighting? I don't know.)" She sighed. Sasha would make a sly remark or something, but she didn't want another scene like earlier happening again. Plus, there were the risks of the babies if a fight broke out and the fact that'd she'd get wrecked like last time.

Mary blinked, nodding as the psyduck stated the names. Arashi... Yuki... Sai... All weird names, but she wouldn't question it. The houndour started to scoot from the mareep's wool, slowly getting used to the pokemon's company. Her pinned ears started to perk up. "(Well, you all have nice names... Um... I'm Mary.)" The houndour tried to smile, but it ended up looking a little... Awkward.

The dog immediately let down the failing smile and glanced over at Venom. "(Sasha said your name was Snakes, right?.. Well, it's nice to meet you all.)"

Ri noticed Blue's shivering. She guessed the little lamb wasn't used to hearing about the shitty intolerance that existed in the world. Or maybe it was simply because it ran such a parallel to her own type of thinking. The kid obviously wasn't against dark-types, caring for the two that accompanied her deeply. She shrugged. "They probably don't think about it that way, but yeah. Their lives are probably even shittier than normal." She commented.

She tilted her head. "Fairy island? Never heard of the place." She remarked. "You're planning to go there?" She asked for clarification. Island... A piece of land surrounded by water. She guessed that Blue would be taking a boat... Sounded vulnerable and dangerous in the redhead's opinion. She privately wished her luck, and hoped that the fish in the sea weren't as aggressive as certain pokemon... Such as... Well, Venom actually. If the sea was infested with pokemon as aggressive as the Seviper, Blue probably wouldn't survive the trip. Right. Best not to think like that, or she might just try and tie Blue up and carry her around. Nope, don't think like that. You don't think like that about people you care about, right? Ri was pretty sure that was how it worked. When she thought about it, that was the feeling she got.

Then she hummed in response. "A job, huh?" Ri didn't have a job. Er, she wouldn't be telling Blue where she got her money, however. She, however, sensed that Blue didn't want to talk about her boss... Though he sounded like someone that Blue recognized as bad. She pushed down the urge to grill the kid about said behavior, as the redhead sensed she wouldn't really like it... But she had to slow down. "So... Where'd you meet the Houndour?" She asked, the only one of Blue's pokemon she didn't really know of. She'd been there when Blue had caught Fluffy, and she assumed Sasha to be the pokemon she was tied to. She hadn't known, but she'd learned that immigrants always seemed to have a pokemon drawn to them who stayed with them... Provided said immigrant didn't die. Or the pokemon didn't. Pyro had come from the egg... So, that left Houndour a mystery.

Arashi bounced on her hooves, best she could, but mostly she just ended up sinking in the snow. "(Yeah! Melting rocks sounds cool! Maybe one day when I'm big and strong, I can smash rocks with my hooves!)" She tilted her head. Then she whispered in Pyro's ear. "(Can your mama melt rocks? Also, what's a mama?)" She asked.

Venom grumbled in response. "(You don't even believe your own words...)" He still didn't... He didn't necessarily like the brats, even if he found the zebra slightly more tolerable, if only because of her willingness to learn and to grow stronger. As opposed to the seal, who seemed content to be a freeloader forever, and weigh them all down. Tch, if he had a choice, he'd killed the seal and keep the zebra.... Though, Sai wouldn't let him kill either of them. He'd never brought it up, but he knew.

Sai smiled a bit, though it wasn't particularly wide... It was barely a smile, actually. "(Mary. Nice to meet you. So.... Uh... You get along with your human's other pokemon...?)" She didn't know what else to ask, honestly. She wasn't great at conversations, this sort of small talk.

Sai coughed. "(... Um... Actually, his name is Venom. I think...)" She trailed off, and Venom piped up, grumbling at Mary.

"(Stupid sheep thinks she's hilarious...)" Venom didn't seem to care that Sasha could obviously hear him calling her a stupid sheep.

Blue blinked as she stared off into space. What did it feel like, to hate and outcast people and pokemon just because of how they were born or how they arrived. They must live horrible lives if they hate that much. Well... She guessed she'd have to make up for their hatred and be friends with everything she could. She glanced over at Mary and Pyro and felt a new sense of protectiveness towards them. "Yeah... I guess." Blue murmured.

"But, yeah, Fairy Island. Chuck, my boss, told me about it and it's apparently the home to a lot of fairy pokemon. Few people have visited it and I want to see it for myself. I'm going to have to work more on getting the money for traveling and such." She shivered at the thought of going on a boat, considering what had been said about the fish in the ocean. They had caused deaths of two people, and Blue wished she wasn't going to end up like them. Couldn't she just use a bird pokemon instead..? Blue sighed for a second and glanced up at Ri.

"Oh, Mary? I uh... Decided going out in the desert was a good thing to do at night. We found her while she was lost... I think she lost her pack? Anyways... We found some litwick and they were nice... But after an incident with hippopotas, they had to stay behind and calm them down. Mary decided to stay with us after that whole thing..." Blue smiled, although a little sad thinking back to the candles.

"(That sounds epic! I'd love to break rocks with my paws!)" Pyro cheered, bouncing up as well, although he couldn't reach the height Arashi was jumping. He blinked as the blitzle asked what a mama was. The baby paused to think for a second. "(Nah, my mama can only use electricity at times. That, and beat up Fluffy. But what's a mama? A mama gives birth to you and raises you, but my mama didn't technically give birth to me. She's raised me from an egg and tells me to call her mama or mom.)"

Sasha glared at Venom's words, although they were true to an extent. "(As if yours are any better.)" She muttered to herself. She felt the need to insult Venom, although her insults are... Weird. She glanced over to Sai and nodded. The mareep glanced over at Mary, who nodded happily to Sai's question. "(I get along greatly with the others, Sasha is really kind to me and Pyro is just wonderful.)" The houndour smiled. Sasha smiled and glanced over at Venom as she continued. "(Oh, g-god, I'm sorry! Sashi, what the heck!)"

Sasha snickered a bit as the houndour turned red with embarrassment. "(I'm sorry, Mary, it's just a joke. Although Snakes doesn't like it too much.)" The sheep patted the dog with a paw. "(Stupid snake can't take a joke.)" She murmured calmly as she heard the snake's remark. Although she seemed calm, there was an inferno going on in her soul.

Ri could tell that Blue was thinking about it. Though, she gathered that her train of thought probably ran in a different direction than Ri's usually did. She didn't think that Blue was as... Cynical or wary as Ri was. She guessed it was nice that Blue didn't see the world the way the redhead saw it, as it was pretty much the opposite of rose-tinted lenses. Like trying to see, except all you can see is red because there's blood in your eyes. Not a happy thought, but Ri guessed it summed up her perspective pretty well.

Ri blinked. "Huh. Would've thought people'd be all over that..." She murmured, looking at the ground. She would've thought humans would pounce on the chance to stamp their mark on it and all that crap.... Or maybe they were too busy with the places they'd already carved out for themselves, fending their claim off from the wild pokemon that might not take kindly to less territory than they used to have. Ri gathered that well... Humanity was a bit of an intruder to the pokemon on Terrene.

Ri tilted her head. ".... Huh. Sounds like a little adventure you had there..." She remarked. She'd never really... Enticed a wild pokemon to accompany her, really. She wasn't sure taking a pokemon from their home was right, either. Though... She guessed if Mary came of her own accord, it was alright. Blue seemed to have less problems with plucking pokemon from the wild, but at least she wasn't a dick about it, as Ri was sure that some people were.

Arashi tilted her head. "(Huh.... That's cool, I guess.)" She wondered if Venom and Sai counted as mamas. She'd have to ask them later! She was real curious about it now, even if the word mama sounded a little funny in her head. She hopped gently on her hooves. "(Sai can spit water from her mouth!)" She felt the need to blurt out. "(Also! Also! She can make things float!)"

Venom snorted. He was mildly less worked up than Sasha was, though he was still somewhat agitated from this vaguely hostile interaction. "(At least I'm certain about my own damn words.)" He hissed. "(Fucking prey.)" He was grouchy and he needed to take it out on someone. He turned to the dog, and he snarled threateningly.

He didn't see the way Sai was giving him a death glare, a wing pressed against the side of her head, her headache beginning to tug at her ability to concentrate. She was getting a bit close to taking out her headache and pain on the insensitive Seviper.

Sasha didn't know how to reply to the snake's remark. She just felt kind of... Iffy. The first statement meant nothing to her, it was just him being an arrogant bitch. What mattered to her was the fact that he called her prey. The sheep hated the idea that her species was merely just a feast for ungrateful savages. The title 'prey' made her ashamed and... Well, angry.

As the snake snarled at Mary, the dog yelped in fear and backed up. Sasha noticed this and the inferno inside her started to explode. She wanted to screech at the snake for even looking incorrectly at her friend. Sasha wanted to beat Venom to the edge of death and leave him to die.

Yet, she couldn't. Sasha kept telling herself that she'd win. She would kill that son of a bitch. But still, she knew. Venom had killed many others and he wouldn't hesitate to kill her. She would have died in that joust if Blue hadn't been there to call off the match. The sheep merely glared at the snake, shaking violently. She started to cry a little, but she quickly rubbed them off as she felt them.

Pyro lit up as Arashi spoke, childlike spirit making him running wildly around the zebra. "(Wow! Can you lift me up! I wanna fly!)" He asked before tripping and rolling in the snow. The stunky took no mind to it and just bounced back up to run again.

"I guess they had the right mindset of leaving it alone. I think it'll be a beautiful place, even if I've never been there." Blue nodded with a smile. "And it was a cold adventure, if that counts." The girl stuffed her hands into her jacket as she soon realized how cold they felt.

((@kira kinda short as well but whatever
