Impetus was being more of a handful than usual. Cynth didn't want to keep him cooped up in his pokeball all day, not when there was such a wonderful event to be involved in, but... boy, was he pushing the limits.
He'd nearly attacked a wild creature just moments prior! Of course, he probably thought he was just playing, but his version of "play" seemed to be fairly violent. He'd scared the poor creature off, and he'd snatched up some thing that it had been carrying, tail wagging happily as he brought the item to her, as if she'd requested that he fetch it for her.
So now here she was, chasing after the pup that had once again taken off in some seemingly random direction, holding a soggy something-or-other under one armpit as she attempted to navigate through the snow with her crutch under her other arm and simultaneously trying very hard not to jostle the egg that was nestled in her bag.
Imp was having the time of his life. He couldn't get enough of this "snow" stuff! He'd hardly ever seen it back home, where his old pack lived, and when it did happen to fall from the sky it never stuck to the ground like this. Look at how it scattered and flew when he dashed through it!
But- he stopped in his tracks, turning abruptly- what was that?
It was shaped like him. But bigger. And whiter. Made of the exciting snow stuff! But.. was it alive? Perhaps it was a friend? It wasn't moving...
He ran over to it, leaping and bounding. He needed to know what it was! It needed to play with him!
He was moving at a rate that he wouldn't be able to stop when he reached it, so unless the abominable snowfox leapt out of the way, he was apt to crash into it.
Cynth, much further behind, chased after the rowdy Rockruff. Indie trotted at her side, glaring daggers into Imp's back, but not chasing after him as per Cynth's request. Cynth shouted at the male Rockruff to stop; of course, he didn't listen. He didn't even hear the woman's request, so wrapped up was he in his own gleeful world.
