Welcome

Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new world, and give it purpose.

Events

Terrene continues to heat
up, both in temperature and in conflict. Beta is asking for spies to infiltrate Omega's camp, while Dentelle simply wants to inquire after the scientist's progress. Later in the season, Beta is hosting his annual crater city tournament, where people can test their Pokemon and their leadership and strategies against one another.

Season

Summer will be here until
September. The heat of summer is here in full force, as well as the accompanying summer thunderstorms. Bug, electric, and fire types all thrive while others wilt under these conditions.

The sunlight shine brightly over head, the village was active of movement as each one go on with there business. Most of them, mostly the older ones, go by him with out an problems but the younger ones toss a glare at him from time to time. There where a few exceptions, mostly citizens who family members they had help find earlier the month with finding their lost ones. Even so they still regard him with some disdain but won't actively show it.

Yukiko was sitting next to him off to the side, the young snorunt had gotten used to waking during the day but still isn't as active as she was at night. The two of them were waiting for someone they had meet earlier that week before heading out into the desert. Dusk, himself, is hoping for a Cacnea, which would be the first one in the family as most never had a reason to come out this far before.

Now he just need to wait for Blue.

It had been a difficult task just getting out of bed that day, as Blue had been too unmotivated to do anything. For a while, she just laid on the floor, staring at the ceiling. She wanted to go back to sleep, but she couldn't. She couldn't get up, either, as she was too unmotivated.

Sasha soon came by her human's side, bleating loudly at her. Blue winced, and started to toss and turn. The mareep kept bleating, and did so for a few minutes. The human started to think if this was what it was like going insane. She groaned, and slowly sat up. Her jacket was still zipped up and the fluff on her hood was in her face.

But Blue couldn't help but smile as the sheep nodded at herself in pride. Soon, though, Sasha was tugging at the jacket's sleeve. Blue almost screamed, and tugged her sleeve back forcefully. The electric sheep snorted.

Blue sighed, and was tempted to go back to sleep.

... Until she remembered what Dusk had told her.

You would have thought the house was going to explode with how fast Blue got up and bolted out. Sasha jumped, bleated, and ran after the running human. The other pokemon, Mary and Pyro, was watching the whole scene and were already on Blue's trail. The girl didn't even call a goodbye to Chuck or Fleet.

Although the stares and glares normally aimed at the girl and her team stayed the same, Blue paid no attention to them. She just kept running. The only time she was thinking of anything else was when she had to murmur a small 'excuse me' to some people that had blocked her way.

Behind her, Sasha seemed to be both laughing and screaming at the human. Mary had to carry Pyro in her jaws, as the little baby would most likely get involved in some other troubles if he was loose.

Minutes passed of almost aimless running before Blue was able to spot Dusk. The girl waved violently, and bolted over to the other. She was almost out of breath as she greeted him.

"H-Hi... Sorry I'm late... You wanna go now..?"

As the two new friends would begin their adventure into the desert, they wouldn’t notice anything of interest for a while. Just a few pokemon would occasionally poke their heads out of the sand and quickly retreat at the sight of the humans. It was rare to see a bird flying above, but they’d eventually notice some. They’d be way too high up to be of any bother, however.

Just off the path of the strip, if they’d taken notice, would be a cactus plant that seemed to be sprouting rabbit ears. Pink flowers were growing from the ears and claws from the cactus’ hands. The plant appeared to be hopping in place as it face a particularly off group of pokemon. It seemed to be trying to intimidate them but they were not so afraid of the plant. Especially with their numbers.

The leader of this group was a red furred monkey with large ears. He was pointing his paw at the cactus with a furious look on his face. “We all know you cacti store up plenty of water for yourselves. All we’re asking is that you share some of that so we can take care of this little one here,” he screeched, pointing to the young sheep, lying on the ground behind him. The yellow wooled mareep barely could keep her eyes open as she watched the group debate about how to help her.

The maractus didn’t seem interested in helping the mareep. It wasn’t trying to be a jerk or anything but she had to look out for herself and people were always trying to crack or cut her open for some water. She wasn’t obligated to help anyone she didn’t know, even if it was a toddler pokemon. “There’s plenty of cacti in the desert, why are you bothering me? I have somewhere to be!” she replied to the pansear.

Beside the monkey was his best friend and muscle. The bear stood on all fours but he would not hesitate to stand and punch out any enemy pansear had asked him to. This was probably because he had helped the bear out on a few occasions and the stufful felt he owed the monkey. “I say we just knock her out and bust her open!” the pink and brown bear growled.

Maractus wasn’t intimidated by the bear. Sure she didn’t want to get her face punched in but there was no way she was going to be bullied into giving up what was hers. “I don’t want to have to fight you but I will if you push!” the cactus was wondering if it was best to just run but then again, fire types could have long ranged attacks that would surely singe her before she even turned to hop.

While the group debated, a round ball of spikes came rolling onto the scene. He had a yellow plant growing from the top of his head that resembled a crown. The little ball of joy was happily approaching the group of strange pokemon. “Hello all, why does everyone look so angry?” he chirped.

The others looked over to him as he waved playfully. Maractus was relieved to see another cactus that could be pursued instead of her. The pansear assumed he was here to help the rabbit-eared plant and felt the need to defend himself. “Oh so you have friends, huh? I have mine right here!” the monkey shrieked. “Come on, we’ll beat the water out of you!”

Cacnea stared at the pansear with a displeasing frown. “What did I just walk into?”

Dusk couldn't help but chuckle, when he finally spotted Blue the tiny girl was waving one of her arms, trying to get his attention. She was breathless when she finally got to him, bring a smile to his face. From her appearance alone, he guesses that she just got out of bed. Shaking his head, he gives her a few seconds to catch her breath, before setting off with a replied. "Yup, I was just waiting for you Blue."

With a small smile, he leads her out of town and into the desert strip. Yukiko followed behind by a few steps, keeping the same distance in between him and Blue and her group. She still wasn't used being around humans or being awake in the day. She was a little sluggish, but if this outing means she will get stronger, then she was all in for it. Hopefully, they don't encounter anything too problematic for her.

While he was the one that invited her along, Dusk was unsure what to talk about with Blue. He was sure she wouldn't like his brand of humor or any regular topic that would be considered normal for the Banette family. So he waited for her to make the first move, even slowed down slightly so he could walk side by side with her. He needs to learn some regular conversations topics for when he talks to people outside the family.

After some time, their hunt finally bears some fruit. A small group of pokemon was crowding around a small cactus like pokemon. First, he thought it was a Cacnea, but it was too tall to be one. Surrounding the cactus was a trio of unknown pokemon, a monkey-like one, a bear-like one, and a smaller mareep that looked overheated.

"So, what do you want to do Blue?"

Blue smiled as Dusk started to lead the group out into the Desert Strip. Oh Arceus, she hoped he knew this place more than she did. She’d probably get them lost if she was the one in charge of getting them home.

The silence between the group made Blue slightly uneasy. Should she talk, or would that be too awkward..? What does Dusk even like to talk about? The girl looked down at Yukiko, who seemed a bit sluggish. “Is she okay?” Blue questioned softly, pointing over to the little snorunt.

Sasha walked proudly in the dirt, none too bothered by the heat. She had lived in these deserts for her whole life, she should be used to the heat by now. By her side, Mary only seemed bothered by the squirming skunk in her jaws. Pyro, in his squirming, as trying to speak to the snorunt. “(Ooh! Pointy Rock, how are you? Why are you so slow?)”

Upon arriving at the scene of arguing pokemon, Blue paused. Her face shifted into one of both confusion and worry. What was happening..? She glanced up at Dusk, and shrugged. She watched as her pokemon started to approach the group. “U-Um… They might help, hopefully..? Mary, can you see what’s wrong?” She didn’t ask Sasha, as the sheep seemed to get into trouble easily with others.

Actually, the mareep was oddly avoiding the conflict. Sasha immediately rushed towards the other sheep who lied in the dirt. She hoped for a moment that this was one of her siblings, as mareeps didn’t seem all to common in these parts. She nudged the little mareep.

She raised her head and bleated at her human. “(Hey! You have any water for this child? She’s dying here!)” Sasha ignored any hostility towards her at that point, as she was too focused on her sheep brethren.

Mary, on the other hand, was a bit more on the mediator side. She lightly set down Pyro, who simply squealed and rushed over to his adopted mother and the little sheep. The houndour cleared her throat, and began speaking to the hostile pokemon.

“(Hey, what’s going on here?)” Her voice was slightly soft, as Mary was almost afraid to draw attention to herself. These pokemon could attack easily, and she wasn’t exactly ready for another fight. She had almost died trying to take down one pokemon, she wasn’t too optimistic about her chances against more.

Totally unaware of the humans and their pokemons' approach, the monkey and his bear friend hadn’t noticed the bigger mareep. She rushed over to the baby sheep they had been protecting. The pansear was ready to shriek as he turned to see the bigger sheep behind him. Were sheeps cannibals? Was this bigger one going to devour the little one?

Not knowing what would happen. He jumped over to the baby, placing himself in between the two mareep. “Who do you think you are?!” he cried out, preparing to spit fire at Sasha. The embers could be seen, burning in his mouth.

The fighting bear turn his head to see the newcomer. His boss seemed ready to fight her and he’d surely jump in but he worried the cacti would get away. “You want me to turn this sheep into lamb chops?” the stufful growled.

Pansear giggled lightly. “No soldier, stay focused on the cacti. We need that water!”

The stufful nodded his head and readied his fists to attack the maractus. He only needed one and this one seemed to be full of the most water.

Hearing the ba’s of a familiar voice, the baby opened her eyes slightly. The sun was beaming down on her face and it made it hard to see the figure in front of her. Another, just like her? “M-mother?” she whispered.

“This sheep is no mother of yours,” the pansear groaned. “This is a human tamed!”

The baby mareep flashed back to the events that led her here and she could only remember getting seperated from her family when humans attacked. They got all of her siblings and mother except her. But who was this mareep in front of her if not family? She couldn’t muster up enough strength to get up and ask. Only one thing she could focus on. “Water?”

Hearing Sasha’s question about what was happening here, drew attention of all the pokemon around. The cacti in the back were mostly afraid to move in the result that they’d be attacked. The maractus seemed frustrated despite her fears. Since the monkey or bear wouldn’t answer. She would.

These bullies are trying to bust us open for our water! They have no right, it's ours and we stored it up for our survival, not theres.” the rabbit-eared plant glared at the sheep, hoping she would not side with them. It was already not looking good for the cacti.

The smaller plant was mostly quiet. He came to have a friendly encounter and he walked into the biggest amount of drama he’s ever dealt with. The cacnea wanted to flew but the stufful had his fists aimed at the cacti. “Please help,” he squeaked toward the mareep.

“Is she okay?”

At the sound of her worry, he glanced at the center of her concern. The poor ice type was walking more slowly than usual, acting sluggish and general down and sleepy. He chewed on his lip in thought, there was nothing wrong with her except for her being unused to be awake. "Don't worry about it Blue, this is the first day she been up all day."

There were times that Dusk wish he could understand pokemon, it would make things so much easier for him. Instead, he must try to guess what exactly they were trying to say and what they want from him. Unsure what was happening, he looked over the group once more, trying to read their body language. The poor sheep had collapsed into the sand, Blue's mareep was trying to comfort it but it looks like she was being blocked.

It seems like the monkey and bear pokemon where the main aggressors, but he was unsure if they were protecting the sheep or fighting to just fight. The taller cactus was slightly cowering in fear, her expression had a slight twitch of frustration, looking back and forth between the groups. The smaller one was being pointed at by the bear, the poor thing was stuck in place by fear. With a small sigh, he turned down to look at Yukiko. "I going follow your lead here girl."

Yukiko glance at her chosen human, still unsure what the human was saying from time to time. Forgetting what he was trying to say to her, Yukiko walked forward trying to get closer without being attacked. Well, she couldn't give them water, she has the next best thing. Small icy energy gathers from within her, the cold air around her increase twice fold. White snowy powder escape from her mouth, shooting into the air above the group. She held it as long as she could, causing a small snowfall above the whole group. Hopefully, they understand what was happening and drink some of the snow.

Sasha began to growl lowly as she was cut off from the baby sheep. She could clearly see the fire forming in the monkey's mouth, and in return started to emit some electric shocks as a warning. Not enough to hurt anyone, just enough to get her message across.

At the small murmur of the little sheep, Sasha's annoyed expression fell. It automatically returned at the pansear's comment. She shoved her way back to the sheep's side, with Pyro waddling behind her. "(Save your strength, sis...)" She murmured softly.

She took a deep breath once the snow started to take a short flight into the air. Sasha glanced over to Yukiko, her expression calmed, and smiled. She turned back to the small mareep. "(Here's a bit of water now.)"

Mary blinked and stared at the tall cactus, tilting her head slightly. Ah, so a fight for water... This seemed like it should be more common. Still, she just stared blankly.

Seeing the little bear ask to actually hurt Sasha made a few embers lit up in her jaws. She forced herself quickly to stop though, as that was going to cause trouble. Besides, Sasha would beat their ass if they tried to hurt her.

Mary turned her attention back to the maractus, and sighed. "(I'm sorry if you don't want to hear this, but maybe you should give them at least some water. They seem pretty adamant to kill you otherwise.)"

She blinked, and looked up as Yukiko released a little snow. "(... Or maybe wait and see if this helps..?)"

Blue was smiling, but on the inside she was going crazy in confusion. She looked up at Dusk, and then at the group of pokemon. Her hands trembled slightly, and she took a step forwards.

Now standing by the small snorunt, Blue started to make small gestures with her hands. "Can we all just settle down and talk, please..?" She asked softly, not at all too certain with her words.

The pansear and stufful were prepared to fight to protect the mareep. There would probably be a shocking attack from the bigger sheep and possibly a few bites from the demon dog. They were no expecting the triangular ice pokemon to step in and strike with its snowy attack. "They're trying to ambush us!" the bear cried out.

The monkey turned his head to see the snow blowing into the air from the snorunt as the powder began to fall down on them. Worried that the attack was going to hurt, the bear and monkey were not expecting the attack to melt so quickly and disappear into the sand. They only felt a brief moment of water droplets hit their fur but it wasn't enough to an affect them.

Fortunately for the cacti, they were great at absorbing water and despite the snow not being much, they still were able to take in what they could. The two weren't used to cold water but it felt nice, even if it was only for a moment. "Whoa, that was a neat trick, do it again?" the cacnea called out happily.

With the sudden distraction, the pansear had almost forgotten the sheep he was ready to fight. When he turned his head back to face her, she was already rushing toward him, eventually pushing passed him as she rushed over to the baby's side. "Hey, what are you doing?" the monkey screeched. He watched as Sasha seemed to be concerned for the baby and even tough he had his doubts a moment ago, it didn't seem like she was planning on eating the young sheep.

The baby looked up from the side of her eye as Sasha stood beside her, trying to get her to drink the bit of water that came from the snow. However, the droplets were in the sand now and there was no way the baby could quench her thirst. "Sis?" she baa'd. "The bad humans didn't get you?" she asked, weakly as a slight smirk formed on her face.

With everyone seeming busy, this was a good opportunity for the cacti to flee. The humans could deal with these bullies and they could go on about their day. But before the two could make a step forward, the demon dog called out to one of them. The maractus eyed the houndour as she spoke. The dog wanted the plant to just give up what was hers just because they threatened to kill her. It didn't see reasonable, especially since the only way to get the water out of her was to puncture her body.

"Sure they can have all the water they want. When I'm dead!" the maractus shouted.

Cacnea was a bit nervous. His cacti kin wasn't exactly saving her skin here when she provoked them this way. He wasn't looking to get killed. Really he just came out to have a good time but everything seemed to want to kill him immediately. The cacnea didn't want to be cracked open and drank, the only person around here who seemed to be friendly was the snorunt. At least she tried to hydrate everyone, despite her failed attempt. He tried inching over to where the ice type was in hopes she'd be friendly.

The maractus stood her ground. Even if she was worried for her life, there was no way she was going to let these bullies just take what they wanted from her. No amount of pressure was going to convince her otherwise. "Tell you what, I'll allow a small puncture in my arm, for enough water so the baby will be alright," she said as she grinned. "But, only if you get rid of these bullies. They don't have to die, but I want them out of my sight!"

The pansear and stufful glared at Sasha and Mary. They wanted to help the baby, but there was no way they were going to leave her side. "We're not going anywhere!" the monkey shouted. "Show her what you're made of!" the pansear commanded the stufful.

Hearing his boss' command, the bear cocked his fist back as frost began to form, "You got it, boss!" stufful shouted out as he punched forward to knock out the maractus. Seeing the fist fly her way, the rabbit-eared plant flexed her needles. The stufful's fist, impacted the cactus, only hurting the bear. "Oh, what?" he cried.

"This is how it's going to be then!" pansear blurted out in a rage as he stretched open his mouth to let out a massive amount of fire from his mouth at the other cactus that stood by Yukiko.

It was only the fact that she was watching the group carefully that saved her from taking the full brunt of the Heat Wave. The small Ice Spirit jump backward and to the side to escape the attack, she couldn't escape it fully but it was something. She was unsure what to do, the two 'attackers' were fighting for the young sheep but this Cacnea was innocent as well. Shaking off the pain from the heat, she channeled some ice energy to comfort herself.

"HEY! I am trying to help!" She yelled out to the pansear, trying to get it to back off. "Leave the Cacnea alone, he dosesn't know what happening here!"

"Arceus Damn it! Blue!" Dusk yelled out loud, racing forward to try to reach her before she gets burned. He was unsure if he got there in time, but once he was within arms reach, Dusk scoop up Blue and made some distance between them and the pokemon. When he felt safe enough, he turns down to look at her, his voice full of worry and concern. "Are you okay Blue?"

Sasha twitched for a brief moment at the monkey's screech. What the hell did it look like she was doing? The mareep sighed for a moment, disappointed that the snow hadn't helped, and suddenly turned to face the pansear. Her face was stuck in a intense glare, and she took a step forwards. Pyro pounced around, unaware of any danger that was happening. "(Ooo! Mama is mad!)"

Another twitch and a low frown could easily be seen from the sheep. "(Oh, I don't know. How about trying to help my own species, ya dimwit?)" She hissed. A loud sigh escaped her, and Sasha immediately turned back to the smaller sheep.

... Bad humans? Wait... How were her other siblings? Mom? Why was this kid alone? No, she was thinking wrong. Nothing would happen to her family like that, right? "(W-Wait. Bad humans? Sis, what happened?)" She growled in concern.

Mary seemed to shake a bit as the maractus spoke. Something told her that this cactus wouldn't be of much help in this situation. She glanced over to the cacnea, her eyes begging for some backup for her idea. Unfortunately, the littler cactus pokemon had rolled over to Yukiko, leaving Mary alone.

... But actually, the taller pokemon seemed to agree. Her terms were... Rather disappointing though. This situation could be solved and done with easily, why did there have to be a fight? Mary would have made confused hand gestures if she even had hands... Still, this baby would die if she didn't agree.

"(... Fine. You better stick to that promise, though.)" She muttered, opening her mouth briefly to show off some warning fires. The houndour closed her mouth, and sighed.

Well, she wouldn't even get her chance at trying to ask them kindly to leave. Immediately, the stufful was trying to punch the maractus. Thankfully, the latter had some sense of self-preservation, maybe a little too much at this point, and shielded herself from the attack. Mary rolled her eyes, and proceeded to launch herself at the bear. Not wanting to risk hitting the plant with fire, she just proceeded with trying to knock the enemy away.

Blue frantically started making little gestures with her hands as a fight was beginning to break out. What was happening? "H-Hey! Let's settle down please!" She called, although her words would most likely have no effect. She looked down at Yukiko, who was standing by her, and then to her team. Oh god, what if they got hurt?

She took a little sigh of relief as the cacnea went to join them. At least he wouldn't take place in this growing mess. That relief was short-lived though, as it immediately vanished as a large rush of fire came towards them. No, no, no!

Blue quickly attempted to try and grab any of the pokemon to get them out of the way, not exactly caring for her own wellbeing. Her attempts were stopped, however, as Dusk grabbed her and began to carry her. The tiny girl let out equally tiny screams as she was carried away from the danger. "Hey! Wait, we gotta go help!"

Sasha started shaking for a few moments as she witnessed the pansear launch an attack of fire. Mainly due to the fact that it had almost singed the human. Nope, she wasn't having that shit. Not today.

The sheep growled lowly, and glanced down to her sheep friend. "(... Be right back. Pyro, look after the kid, okay?)"

"(Okay, Mama!)" The stunky cheered, prancing around the smaller sheep. While he was busy with that, Sasha took her chance to race towards the fire monkey. As she tried to tackle into him, various sparks of electricity emitted from her wool. She was ready to make some damage.

The cacnea shook nervously as the heat wave came in his direction. He wasn’t expected to be attacked when he didn’t even do anything to the other group of pokemon. It appeared trying to hide near the human’s and their pokemon was not going to protect him. The ice type that was nearby jumped out of the way as best she could. Unfortunately the cactus felt the full force of the fire and rolled backward in pain.

He wanted to cry but his life was more important that focusing on the pain. The small cactus didn’t see anyone trying to help him so he had to fight on his own. Bouncing into the air he fired off a rain of needles that glowed purple at the monkey. The pansear wasn’t expecting the needles to hurt much, but so he didn’t really try to dodge. This was his mistake as the tips were coated in poison. Feeling the immediate effects of the stings, the pansear held his belly tight, wondering why he felt so nauseous.

“What did you do to me?” he cried.

The cacnea scowled at the pansear, ready to strike again. “You asked for it pal! I was just trying to be friendly!” The human that stood with the snorunt seemed to be shouting things at the monkey who attacked but whatever he was saying didn’t make any sense. The words sounded pretty hostile so he hoped that meant the human was on his side.

Feeling sick, the pansear tried to focus. He looked at his surroundings, trying to figure out the best course of action. The bigger sheep was tending to the baby so he didn’t have to exactly be there to defend her but he needed to crack one of these cacti open. The monkey also, couldn’t let the plants escape. His mission would be a failure. He fired off a stream of fire that circled around the group, making it difficult for them to flee. Even if they tried, they’d surely get singed.

Focused on the pain from punching the maractus, the stufful hadn’t even noticed his boss injured at the hands of the cacnea. The monkey didn’t look so good and the bear wanted to help but he couldn’t take his focus off his target. Even if this cactus was tough, he was tougher. Sure he couldn’t keep mustering up those powerful punches but if he couldn’t use his fists, he’d use his head. Rushing toward the maractus, the bear rammed into the cactus, tackling it to the ground.

The rabbit-eared plant tumbled backward toward the flames that circled them. “You seriously making things worse for everyone! No one is going to survive this at this point!” the maractus shouted. The heat was intense and she didn’t know what she was going to do. She couldn’t just flex her needles as she did before without hurting herself. She had to have to take the bear down head on.

“Alright if that’s how we’re going to do things, then brace yourself,” the rabbit-plant charged back toward the stufful, holding out a needle arm, smacking the bear in the face. “Take it!”

Stufful crashed into the sand, dropping onto his side. “You’re a lot tougher than I thought, I have to admit,” he growled.

While the wild pokemon fought, the young sheep continued to lie on her side. It was getting hotter and she wasn’t sure how much longer she could take it. She panted heavily as she listened to her big sister talk to her. “They took mama. Brothers. Sisters. Took them all,” she said weakly. The mareep seemed to have faint at this point but she was still breathing. She needed to rest. Drink. Eat! It was a mystery as to how long she had left.

Finally hearing that the tamed pokemon would agree to the maractus’ terms, she smirked. She was taking enough of a beating here and could use their help. If not, they’d sure be done for. “Perfect,” she cheered, as she watched the demon dog and the older sheep joined the fight, each supporting one of the cacti.

The taller cactus was so relieved when she saw the demon come to her rescue. She was never a fan of demons or fire types but this one seemed to be alright. Mary was on her side and she could surely take down this monkey now.

Another sneak attack came, but this time it was at the pansear. Feeling the shock strike him in the back, the monkey dropped to the sand. He was honestly too sick to pick himself up so quickly but that didn’t mean he’d stay on the ground. Why would they attack him? He was trying to save the baby. He was the hero? How could this all go wrong?

“Thanks, friend!” the cacnea exclaimed.

Looking up at the tamed pokemon, the monkey cringed. He had taken a beating and was feeling awful. There had to be a way to walk away from this and still succeed in his mission. "Please, you don't understand...I know where the humans took the others..." he said weakly. @BestBella @AjSol

"Are you crazy! Blue is that attack would hit you, you would have been stuck in bed with burns! And that was only if you were lucky!" Dusk yelled, his voice clearly express how angry he was with her. "If you were hit, what do you think would happen to your pokemon?" He tried to explain, wanting her to truly understand what could of happen. He turned around before his anger makes him say something he would regret. Yet he couldn't help but let a few words escape from under his breath. "Damn it, girl, I don't want to have to do my job and bury you."

Yukiko stares in fear at the wall of fire that split her from the others. She could easily jump into it and help, but she was unsure what she could do to the fire type. She couldn't help the other, as the demon dog and taller cactus was already fighting. Her sight landed on the fallen sheep, while she can't help the other she could help the sheep. She jumps into the flames, racing forward to its side.

Once there, she builds up some ice energy to cool down the sheep. Hopefully, by standing near it, she could help it. She also let out a small underpower powder snow into her hands, letting a small pile to gather into them. Once she had enough, she attempted to let the slightly melted snow drip onto the young sheep.

Temp

Blue lied wide-eyed as Dusk started to shout at her. She winced at the loud noise, and clutched onto her jacket sleeves... What would happen to her team? Well, they'd probably be better off without her, most likely. She was holding them back.

Tears quickly swelled in her eyes. She quickly tried to smile, but that attempt failed almost instantly. A weight of guilt seemed to crush her at Dusk's final sentence. She wiped her eyes, and tried to get out of the guy's arms. "... If I died to that, I honestly wouldn't give a shit. I'd be more useful as a corpse than I am now."

Once she was out of Dusk's arms, she would try and start running over to the fighting group of pokemon and the now arising fire.

Sasha wanted to legitimately screech at the little mareep's statement. No. Mom wouldn't let that happen. Mom wouldn't let her children get taken. Even though her mother could be a bit ditzy, she wouldn't let her babies get taken unless... Oh Arceus no.

She watched the Pansear with a glare. He seemed to be down for now... Good. She glanced over to the little sheep, and let out a loud bleat. The kid was unconscious... Was she going to survive?.. No, of course she was. She had to, goddamnit! Sasha gritted her teeth as a sudden image flashed in her head. She had seen this before. Four had died in this same horrible way.

Mom said big girls don't cry. Big girls don't cry, goddamnit. While Sasha didn't cry, her expression was clearly pained in anger. Her hooves dug deep into the dirt, close to crushing a few pebbles. Her expression only darkened at the monkey's words.

"(Y-You're bluffing... Cowards like to bluff when they are close to dying. And even if you do know... They're most likely dead. Humans don't just pass up a meal when it's caught.)"

Mary winced as the stufful wouldn't seem to quit. Well, at least the maractus was seeming to handle herself. But ugh... Might as well end this quickly. She didn't exactly feel like needles would be quick way to die, at the least a long and painful way. The demon dog sighed, and aimed a little bit of fire at the bear. She paused for a second to think over what she was doing, but launched the embers at the stufful before she could think too much.

She suddenly jumped as she heard Sasha shout loudly over in her and the maractus's direction. "(Hey! Can anyone get this kid some goddamn water! If she dies, it's not going to be pretty!)" The genuine anger in the mareep's voice made Mary shiver. The demon dog glanced over to the tall cactus, her eyes slightly widened. "(S-She isn't lying.)"

Pyro simply sat there, none too bothered by his Mama's words. He glanced over to Yukiko, who also was standing by the smaller sheep. What was pointy rock doing? He tilted his head and watched the creature carefully.

Maractus watched as everyone shouted amongst each other. The pokemon to one another. The humans seemed to almost want to cry. Geez these weirdos were dramatic but at least they had good intentions. She just wished they didn’t involve cutting into her and stealing her water. Though she promised to sacrifice some for the baby if they got rid of the monkey and bear, she didn’t like it. But a promise was a promise and she’s stick to it, even if it would be a good idea to flee just now.

The smaller cactus was feeling a little bad that he had to poison the monkey to get it to stop attacking. He really didn’t like to harm others but the pansear left him no choice. This cacnea could only feel regret as he knew now that the monkey was going to eventually die from the poison with no way to cure it. Even if the humans had a way to do so, he wasn’t on good terms with them at the moment so it was surely dead.

As the pansear felll weaker from the poison and the mareep not listening to reason, he was losing hope. The fire spin that surrounded those who were battling had faded. There was no way the spin could last with the lack of power coming from a young monkey like himself. Pansear offered to give helpful information to the bigger sheep and her friends. He tried to save the young sheep from dying but still he was the one on his knees, dying from poison.

The young monkey thought he was the hero of this story and that he would save the baby along with his trusty companion, Stufful. But perhaps there was a better way to handle things and he should of thought about that before he aggressively attacked. His father always did say he had a temper. Perhaps there was still a way to get out of this where everyone would live? Before opening his mouth to reply to Sasha’s response, he watched as a small ember flew passed him.

Pansear watched with wide eyes as he followed the flame that struck his friend in the back. Stufful fell to the ground, seemingly dead. The burn would singing the bear’s back as he cried out in pain before face planting into the sand. “S-soldier?” the monkey called to his friend, trying to keep balance with the poison in his system. “Friend?” Pansear continued. The monkey was crawling on his hands and knees toward the stufful who lied there motionless, trying to comprehend what just happened. Was this what happened to good pokemon? Why be good if it only results in pain and death? In loss?

The monkey was filling with rage as he felt the heat filling his body within. He stood on his feet, despite the poison causing his body to shut down. Turning to face the one who attacked his friend, he cringed his teeth narrowing his eyes with anger at the demon canine. “You killed him? I try to save one of your friends and you kill one of mine?” The pansear was fueled with rage as he flexed his claws in each hand. “I may be dying, but not until I take you with me!” he screeched as the monkey leapt forward toward Mary, holding out his claws to dig into her and swipe as many times as he could.

With all the fighting going on, the baby mareep was beginning to wake. She could feel drops of water splashing down onto her face. It felt nice and cold but the drops were quickly becoming warmer. Still it was soothing as she tried reaching her tongue over to the side of her face to take a lick of the drops. This was helping but she still needed more. She closed her eyes once more but not to pass out. She was just resting patiently, feeling a glimpse of hope that she may survive.

Now that the fire was down and there didn’t seem anymore reason to fight, the cacnea hopped on over to where the humans were. They seemed to be staying out of the fight and that’s what he wanted. He spotted the hooded man whose pokemon seemed to be staying out of the fight. That would be the safest place to be till this was all over. Meanwhile, the maractus continued to watch to see if they’d finally finish off this pansear once and for all. She was pretty glad that the stufful was down. He was an idiot who got himself killed following his boss’ orders. She couldn’t stand being told what to do.
