Welcome

Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new world, and give it purpose.

Events

Terrene continues to heat
up, both in temperature and in conflict. Beta is asking for spies to infiltrate Omega's camp, while Dentelle simply wants to inquire after the scientist's progress. Later in the season, Beta is hosting his annual crater city tournament, where people can test their Pokemon and their leadership and strategies against one another.

Season

Summer will be here until
September. The heat of summer is here in full force, as well as the accompanying summer thunderstorms. Bug, electric, and fire types all thrive while others wilt under these conditions.

Misadventures

Resting in the dark-skinned woman's arms, the yellow mouse squeaked in joy and awe as they headed towards the treeline. This was the first time she was going to see outside the city! The baby was incomprehensibly excited, though partially due to just her age. Nonetheless, the little pichu wiggled and pushed, pulling herself out of the grip from the woman's arms to her chest. She wasn't about to jump off, as the distance to the ground was too scary, and she didn't want to try to walk on her own just yet. But she could stand on her human's arms and get a better view!

The new pokemon's ears flopped as she looked around, side to side and up to down. Shae giggled a bit as she did so, having wiggled so much just to get a different view. This was her first trip into the forest since the pichu had hatched, and she wanted to let her experience a nice walk.Well, she hoped it would be a nice walk anyway. The forest tended to be unpredictable, even among the common path she used to pick berries. The wild creatures inhabiting the forest were always moving and shifting, which meant that any area could potentially be a bit dangerous. But she was confident in her family's ability to protect themselves and the baby.

To that effect, she had two others out and with her as she walked down the trail into the trees. To her right side, walking as if properly trained but actually just having grace and manners, was the furfrou. He held his head high, taking confident strides and maximizing the motion. It had been a while since they'd had a proper excursion into the forest. He was glad for the opportunity to enjoy a stroll with the human. He was, of course, still unsure about his feelings on her. However, she was very good about grooming him often, and he'd grown very fond of her keeping him clean. He could, of course, clean himself, but having her do it so willingly was much easier.

Riding in the bag carefully along her hip was the large pumpkin ghost, who was much more fond of the human, though still unsure about sticking around as often as she did. Still, this human did keep her promise of keeping her special treasure safe and nearby, and the new treasures she had were great too! Everything in the bag was a new interesting thing the human introduced to her, and she was glad that her love of new and shiny things was appreciated and fed. The woman seemed to always be finding fresh ad exciting things to investigate and, though the ghost was still shy among the others, was starting to warm up to the kind human.

The pumpkaboo shifting and made an odd noise, which grabbed Shae's attention. She smiled, patting the head of the ghost. People around town were a bit antsy about the pumpkin, so she tried to avoid exposing the shy pokemon to them much. She didn't seem to like be social too much as it was, she really didn't want to expose her to any judgement from people who don't understand her soft personality. She dug her hand into the bag, finding the shiny penny and pulling it out. She held it in from of the pumpkin for a few seconds, until the ghost relaxed a bit and trilled with appreciation before placing it back in, the pumpkaboo shifting her feet to take stock of the items inside the bag.

She shifted her arms to be more comfortable, making sure not to bother the pichu much as they headed a bit further into the forest via the path, hoping that nothing would pop out. But, if something did, she knew they could handle themselves and get through it. Though she really would appreciate having a peaceful stroll with her pokemon. Freeing up her opposite arm by letting the mouse settle on her left, she reached down and pet the dog walking at her side gently, so as not to mess up his fur much. He did care about his appearance after all.

Misadventures
[OOC: Battle Summary in the notes]

As they continued walking, the woman shifted the curious pichu to her other arm, wanting to have her right free. She reached down and brushed her fingers gently into the fur of the furfrou. He made no noise to show his appreciation, but the subtle lift of his head into her hand was enough to assure her that he liked it. She'd already found his favoritre spots to be pet after all this time together, though it was always good to keep an eye out for when he might be uncomfortable. He was one of her pokemon that seemed a little more ready to leave than the others, so she did her best to respect his wishes. She sincerely hoped he continued to stay though, as he was a part of the family now.

In the bag, the pumpkaboo was currently pleased with simply rubbing her feet on all the shiny things they've collected. The human had a lot of shiny things to show and to share, and the ghost loved that they both liked collecting them. Sometimes they would just go out and search for more shinies, or she would trade a bunch of little wooden-like things for shinies. She didn't understand why anyone would want a pile of those weird, round things, but she wasn't complaining about more things to collect. Though, as she looked up, she saw something that caught her eye. It was up in the tree, the angle glinting from a small stream of light poking through the trees. She lifted herself up, the snug bag coming with her.

Which pulled Shae's attention. the ghost was rising, and the entire bag was starting to go with her. Oh, she didn't want everything to go dumping out again. She loved that Pom was so curious and liked to act on it, but she did not like picking all of her things up off the ground. So she reached over with her free hand and grabbed the bottom of the bag, causing it to pull off the pumpkin's body as she continued upwards. With that safe as the bag was lowered back to her side, she giggled as she looked up to try and see what the ghost had seen. Since she'd walked a couple steps, the light was different and for the moment the woman couldn't figure it out. Still, she was fine with a little pause in their peaceful walk.

Unfortunately their walk wouldn't go uninterrupted for long. Shae heard the loud buzzing start up, looking around abruptly for the source. The pokemon whipped around the tree quickly, a yellow bee showing itself as it buzzed angrily. It seemed that the frustration was aimed at Pom, who stopped her ascent at the new appearance. She seemed to shy away a bit as the pokemon buzzed about, but she couldn't understand what was being said. She hoped this wouldn't turn out badly, though her hand unconsciously found its way to grazing over Kay's pokeball, ready to call it out if this escalated. She hadn't actually seen Pom fight yet, so she was unsure how the ghost handled herself in a fight.

"HEY! What do you thing you're doing so close to my hive, huh? You tryin' to sneak up or something? Trying to get YOUR HANDS ON OUR HONEY??" The aggressive combee continued to yell at her, the loud buzzing coming off as intimidating as a creature such as this could manage. Pom shied away a bit, uncomfortable with the tone he was taking. "No I was just.... trying to get the shiny." Her voice go quieter as she paused in the middle, starting to turn away a bit. She was still curious what was shiny, wanting to get up to see it, but she wasn't liking how this combee was addressing her. It was distressing and not at all nice.

Her movements made Shae worried a bit, but for the moment it wasn't fighting. "It's okay Pom, we can come back later for it, if you like." She wasn't actually sure whether or not they'd remember what tree this was, or where to find whatever she was looking for, but her soft words tried to soothe the timid ghost. Pom felt a bit better after hearing the encouragement, even if she didn't understand the words, but she really wished this bee would just go away so she could get to the shiny. Apparently the combee wasn't appeased by her lack of movement.

"Have it your way then! I'll make you leave." He practically spat the words, gathering his energy to fire a forceful gust at the poor ghost. "Pom! Come back, I can get Kay to take care of this." If there was one thing the woman would never stand for, it was her family being attacked. And the pumpkaboo wasn't even doing anything wrong! The wind cut at the pumpkin's form, the ghost about ready to cry from how terrible this bee was acting. However, the pumpkin also wasn't defenseless. She didn't get to where she was in life simply by standing by and letting others be strong for her. Before Shae could activate the pokeball she was pulling off her belt, the pumpkaboo acted, firing off her own attack - the first attack the human had ever seen her do.

She focused her powers and, despite being the first move, she didn't actually seem to do much. Of course, the ghost was confident she'd used disable, but it was something the woman hadn't seen yet. Pom was focused though, and despite the tears rushing down her dark face, she continued to fight. Shae looked confused but as the pokemon tried to rush wind at her again, seeming confused itself from not being able to do so, she understood. So, Pom was able to make it so the bee couldn't use gust again! How amazing! The ghost was weak to the attack, after all, and had no interest in getting his by it again. The pain was apparent as she continued whining, all the while continuing the battle.

Her ghostly abilities would come in handy once again. She didn't have anything she thought would be wholly effective on the creature - in fact, she only had one attack. But she knew that if she focused, she could make that move super-effective on her opponent. So with her trick-or-treat move, she gifted the ghost type to the pokemon, the combee suddenly feeling... odd, from the power that enchanted it. It was a little encouraging though, so the bee rushed forward. Its mouth bit repeatedly at the pumpkin, Pom crying out but staying strong. She wouldn't let this big meanie bully her when she was just trying to look at something!

Her big body rushed at the combee, and her tears turned into a shrill cry as she used her astonish attack, the bee being completely caught off guard. It didn't understand what was going on, and the attack had the desired effect. For a moment, he flinched, unable to move to retaliate. Keeping it up even as she continued crying, the pumpkaboo focused her powers again, inflicting the confusion upon the bee with her power. She moved in for another astonish attack though, striking and shrieking once more to get it to go away. This time able to move, the bee hesitated a moment from the cloudiness in his mind. But no, he couldn't just give up! He rushed in, trying to attack again. However, in his rush and ignorance of the confusion, he spun and bashed into the tree hard, hurting his stinger.

The bee was in pain, and wasn't feeling like he could stay in flight. He wanted to defend the hive, but he couldn't continue. The pumpkaboo gave him another look, trying to look scary through the tears, and he rushed off, deciding to stay alive. There were others in the hive, and they would surely get her if she dared to attack! He buzzed around the tree haphazardly and got out of sight, the woman relaxing and putting the pokeball back on her belt. She smiled and looked up to the ghost with an open arm. "Pom, you were absolutely wonderful! I know it was scary, but it's all over. Come over here!"[/b]

While still balling her eyes out from the confrontation, she floated down and into Shae's chest, the woman's arm wrapping around her. "There there. It's okay now. The mean bug is gone. She cooed at the ghost, comforting the poor thing. Her tears slowed as did her whimpering after a minute or so. "Want to get back in the bag?" She calmly and gently spoke, the ghost immediately moving towards it. Shae opened it up and helped Pom get in as she could, laying a cloth overtop the pumpkaboo to give her some peaceful darkness. She deserved a little break from the world.

And with that, she turned to the furfrou. She took a deep breath, starting petting the dog again, and continued on her walk.

Misadventures
[OOC: Battle Summary in the notes]

As they continued on their walk, the pumpkin hiding away and calming herself in the bag, the woman soaked in the nice weather. It was warm, though a bit more humid than she might like. The heat was alleviated a bit by a calm breeze, though she found herself wishing it would pick up just a bit more. It wasn't really enough to cause any real relief from the hot weather, but she supposed the warmth was much more appreciated than the cooler temperatures of winter. The chill wasn't quite as enjoyable as the feeling of the sun beating down on her skin, so she could say with certainty that she enjoyed summer over winter.

Though some of her pokemon had differing opinions on the matter. Barry and Bri, being grass types, really enjoyed the heat and moisture both. But her other pokemon, like Jaq and the two shellos, didn't enjoy the warmth nor feeling dried out. Jaq preferred it as cold as possible, while the water-type liked it somewhere in the middle, like spring. It was always interesting and fun to learn these things about her pokemon, but there were a few she hadn't figured out yet. For instance, the furfrou striding next to her never seemed to have much of a preference. It seemed as though his fur blocked out most of the temperature changes, though the light panting currently happening told her that he didn't take the heat as well as he put on.

As they continued, the forest alive with the normal sounds of life, she kept a soft smile. They were quiet, the ghost's sobs having stopped soon after she'd gotten into her little hiding place in cover. And since it seemed to be pretty peaceful, she figured it was a good chance to allow a couple others to join them. She avoided bringing Eli out around the dog, seeing as how they seemed to always be at odds with each other, but she had a couple others in mind that might enjoy the walk with them. She activated the balls while keeping a slow pace, using one hand as the pichu curiously watched her free hand unlatching the pokeballs. She almost stumbled out of her arm, but Shae giggled and adjusted to keep her from falling.

First out was one of her plants, the thin vines curling into the dirt as the flash of red light released her. She turned her bell up towards the sky, soaking in the warmth. Ahhh, how refreshing a hot summer day was. After experiencing the terror they called 'Winter' for what felt like an eternity, Bri was pleased to finally have the heat back. She always felt more full too, since the sun tended to be out longer and more intense during this season. It was only her second summer being alive, but she'd experienced all the seasons and had a clear favorite - though spring was pretty nice too, she had to admit. She just didn't enjoy the rain too much. It kept getting in her mouth and that was super annoying.

A second flash lit up and out, and another appeared. The blue fox-like creature stretched his body, feeling kind of stiff. Ugh, it was warm out though. He looked at the others out, and their surroundings. Was there anything fun to do? It didn't seem like it. Shame. And the air was positively terrible, thick with warm moisture. Every breath felt like swallowing sunlight, and his mouth felt dry from the very idea. Bri seemed happy based on her pose, but he wasn't very pleased. Still, he did enjoy walks with the human. She usually rewarded him with food and play time if he stayed with them instead of trying to run off to find something fun. He spotted the human and gave a greeting bark, not bothering to speak a word that she wouldn't understand. The furfrou was quiet as usual, and so he ignored him. The dog wasn't any fun. where were all the fun people in the family?

With the two additions to their day out and ready, Shae greeted them and started off. The group continued along the path, the two younger pokemon chatting idly, until their peaceful stroll was interrupted once more. A green creature came stumbling out, falling and rolling a bit. He bumped and rolled until he was able to get to his feet. Shortly behind where he'd come from appeared another pokemon. The white pokemon with the cap looking similar to a pokeball scooted his body out, following behind the budew who started to speak. "Oi! Who's this lot? Who are you?" Though he seemed to be posing a question, not even the eager twins would have a chance to respond before he continued. "A human! In our forest? We otta teach you what's right! Forest is for pokemon, city is for humans. Take your pet elsewhere!" Despite not having arms, the grass-type was pretty expressive with his bobbing movements.

Bri was the first to answer, while Jaq turned his head in confusion, baffled by the words. "What's wrong with humans? They seem pretty great to me." The bellsprout didn't even consider the idea that she might be biased due to having never lived without them. "If I can go into the forest, why can't momma?" Jaq nodded in agreement, placing his tail-end on the ground, since apparently they were stopping. He was actually glad for the change of pace. It was more exciting this way! But the response didn't seem to make the budew happy, the screeching whistling noise from the poison-type erupting as he spoke. "Listen to them, disciple! They are brainwashed! And it's our job to - You know it, say it! He looked to the foongus expectantly, waiting on him to answer.

"Oh, uh, yeah I know. We gotta... we gotta." He trailed off, trying to think about what he'd been taught. He was still very young, and have a limited memory. "We gotta knock some sense into 'em, duh! Get it in your head! The foongus perked up. "Oh yeah! Knock sense into them. Remind them humans are bad!" They both turned, looking more aggressive than before. Shae was a bit worried about the two of them, but the other in attendance didn't seem to care. "Please, knock some sense into these two, you twins. Humans are useful, and they are just to dumb to realize." He looked almost bored as he stood. Ignoring the voiced protests of the wild pokemon, the bellsprout had her own concern. "Wait, aren't you going to help? You're like, stronger and older than us. You're gonna help right? The glaceon didn't care either way, more excited by the idea of a battle.

"And get this beautiful coat dirty? No, you two can handle this, surely. And if not, the woman can call upon one of the others." He lifted a paw and started to lick it as Jaq started snickering. The exchange stopped as the two pokemon both launched an attack, green bubbles tearing off both of the twins' bodies and pulling their attention. The woman's hand went nervously to a pokeball at her belt, even as her face steeled for the battle to come. Pichu clapped as she watched, joyfully watching and waiting to see what would happen. She still thought fighting was peaceful playing. "Jaq, Icy Wind. Bri, Vine Whip on the left!" Though the woman wasn't entirely sure they could handle this on their own, she had to have faith in them. If they were willing to fight, she needed to give them the chance to build their confidence.

Jaq was the first of the twins to move, eager to get moving and in a fight. In addition, he loved using his icy wind attack when it was hot out. The chilled air felt really nice, cooling him off when the sun was overbearing. So he rushed to the opportunity to cool the air, his ice filling the wind around him as it built up and rushed away. It pushed into both of the pokemon, the frigid temperature pricking at their skin and freezing the moisture around them. Neither of the grass-types enjoyed the feeling at all, and even Bri had scooted a bit to the side to avoid getting caught in the blast of cool air. With that down, the air settling back down, the bellsprout's vines reached and whipped at the budew. But the pokemon's body released a toxin on contact, soaking into her vines.

She could feel it spreading, but she couldn't give up this easily. She wanted to do just as good as Jaq - better, even! She wanted to make the human proud, even if she wasn't a big fan of fighting. These meanies needed to be stopped though. It was self-defense, after all. The two opponents struck again, using the same attack as before - but this time, they'd feel the healing affect of their draining moves, as they'd lost significant health in the last round of attacks. The energy wasn't much, but every bit was helpful to them. Despite the disadvantage of the ice, these two were still determined to try and break the human's control over them!

"Jaq, Icy Wind again! Bri, vine whip on the mushroom this time! With that, Jaq shot off his chilled attack once more, and the Budew seemed to be running pretty low. The flicker of uncertainty certainly flashed in his eyes. The vines smacked at the mushroom, spores bouncing out at the impact. The foongus was feeling much more hurt than his partner, but neither of them could make it much longer. In comparison, their opponents were pretty healthy still, and weren't going down to their absorb attacks anytime soon. The only miracle was the spores latching onto the bellsprout, causing the pokemon to drift off to sleep. "Bri!" She called out in concern as the pokemon lowered and laid on the ground, falling to sleep even as she winced in pain from the poison.

Shae could tell from the contact with the budew, and more specifically Bri's reaction to it, that something had affected her from it. Poison was the only lasting affect she needed to worry about, so she wouldn't hesitate once the battle was over. She was relieved when the two pokemon both turned and ran away, seeming too hurt and scared to continue fighting. That was good, even if Jaq was moaning in complaint about it being over. But he'd used that ice attack twice already - she knew that he wasn't able to use it a third time yet, as it was a bit too much for him. They needed to work on that in training for sure. She searched through her bag carefully, working around the moping pumpkaboo with a few soft apologies. She eventually found the berry she was looking for - a Pecha berry, used to cure poison.

She waited a minute or so until the bellsprout woke up of her own accord, and then cooed as she woke up. "Well hey there sleepy head. Come on, eat this." She held out the berry, and the bellsprout wasted no time in getting it. She didn't want Jaq to have a chance to steal it. Her bell closed around it just before Jaq's paw swiped towards it, the glaceon whining about not getting one. Shae giggled and pulled out a bit of poke food for the fox to eat happily, while Bri's acid broke down the berry. She felt the effects quickly dissolving, washing the poison into harmless molecules. Yes, that felt much better. "More excitement in a day then we were expecting, huh? Why don't you two rest for now?" She offered their pokeballs. Jaq finished his snack and was first to bump into it to show he wanted in. Mostly, he just wanted out of this heat! Bri, however, chose to stay out. She wrapped her vines around Shae's arm, positioning the bell next to the pichu while clinging on. Allowing her to stay out, the woman holstered both balls before standing up.

With a nod to her pokemon, the furfrou pleased that their walk could finally continue now, they continued along the path. Though she figured they'd best turn back here soon.

Misadventures
[OOC: Battle Summary in the notes] Shae giggled as the pichu played with the bellsprout's bell. The plant seemed content with it, though not wholly involved herself. She assumed that the pokemon was probably just a bit worn out from the battle she'd had. The woman was endlessly proud that the twins had been able to handle the two pokemon so well. While her peaceful walk had had a couple hiccups so far, she was glad her family was all able to defend themselves. It was something she striven to help them grow in order to do. Every creature, human or pokemon, should have the tools and knowledge to be able to defend themselves from attackers. So seeing her pokemon, even the young ones, able to do so lifted her heart. She wished nothing but happiness for them, and sincerely hoped they would never be pained or killed, if possible.

After a little bit further, she reached the point where she knew she should turn around. While she could certainly keep going, and was confident that the dog would be up for a longer adventure as well, she wanted to make sure the pichu didn't get too worn out from being out so long. She hadn't even brought a meal for lunch, as she always planned for this to be a shorter walk. They could always come back later, once the infant had a chance to eat and rest. But they would need to return home in order for her to prep their lunches and eat. Surely the furfrou would understand.

Besides, as she looked down the dirt was starting to collect on the long fur at the bottoms of his paws. Surely he was ready to break and clean off his fur from the dirt. Shae had learned to deal with a little dirt here and there, but they were of the same mind in that neither of them enjoyed being dirty much. They started making their way back, the woman picking up a more brisk pace for a bit of exercise. Since it was just her and the canine walking, she didn't need to worry about anyone needing to keep up. The furfrou was always happy to pick up a bit and more faster for a better chance at stretching his legs. So they jogged together, enjoying the peace of the forest as they head back down the path to Ashfield.

But there was something neither of them picked up on, the thin webbing on the ground not sticking out enough to draw their attention. The dog stepped in it, yipping in alarm. What was on the ground? More importantly? Was it in his fur now? He stopped and looked down, finding that there was some webbing that had been laid out. By whom, he didn't care. It was on his fur, all four paws. And as he scrambled to try and wipe it off, he ended up smearing it and making it worse. He whined in complaint, eyes darting around to see what had caused it. The dark-skinned woman turned to look, wondering what the sudden stop and commotion was about. The web was pretty hard to see, especially in with his almost white fur, but she was able to see it. Poor thing was probably just upset that it was sticking to his coat.

The perpetrator behind this dastardly act came out soon enough, a blob of yellow sliding out of a nearby bush. It was rounded and weird looking, earning confused looks from both human and dog. Another little slime of yellow poked out, but this one had eyes. A third tendril poked out and pulled with the first, dragging a red and white rock with a bunch of holes through. The pokemon looked between the furfrou and the ground, seeming displeased by it. Then, she started to spit out new webbing, replacing what was stepped in with fresh webs. She didn't seem to bat an eye at the furfrou who's anger was building, simply focusing on the task of replacing the missing webbing on the ground.

The dog was furious. How dare this ridiculous amorphous... thing! Lay out such disgusting substance on this nice path. His walk was officially ruined, as was his coat. Who knew how long it would take to get the sticky material out of his fur! And to then just replace it without a word? "Excuse you! Do you have no decency? Why did you put that in a public walking place? I was trying to have a simply job and now your disgusting muck is in my fur. I expect an apology!" The dog barked and growled, showing his clear discontent with the situation at hand. The bug at first was just ignoring him, not even bothering to look up.

"How dare you ignore me after this travesty! You should be begging for my forgiveness!" A snarl ripped from his throat. Shae felt bad that his coat got ruined, but thought they'd be better off leaving the bug alone. "Come, let's go home. I can get you straight into the bath to clean off your fur." She cooed, hoping to comfort the pup. He was relieved to hear she would prioritize his cleanliness over everything else. But as he turned, he kicked up dirty behind him, making it land on the sticky webbing the shuckle had just been fixing. That, at least, seemed to get the pokemon's attention.

The bug gargled something incomprehensible and reached out, its blob limbs stretching quickly towards the furfrou. He tried and failed to get out of the way, the limbs wrapping around his torso to constrict him. The canine's thick fur meant that this wouldn't be much of a problem, but he did not like the dirty creature touching him, not trying to attack in general. No, he would stand against this dumb bug and show it who was better. His coat was already dirty, so there was no holding back now. Digging his claws into the dirt, he kicked a spray of dirt at the shuckle in a sand attack as the tendrils returned to the body.

The bug disappeared into the rock again, but the back limbs pushed and made it start rolling. It continued in momentum, quickly rushing at the furfrou until contact, crashing into the dog's fur. He was lucky that his thick fur tended to soften physical blows, and was more than willing to counter. "Use tackle!" The woman called out, the dog glad for her approval to fight. He didn't do it often, but it was required in instances like this. So he rushed in, tackling the bug and knocking it rolling back. The pokemon pulled all of its body in, its head sitting at the edge of the hole and watching. Shae hesitated for a moment, but she didn't trust that this was over. "Keep it up! You can win against it for sure!

Given that the pokemon only had one real attack, calling out the tackle command repeatedly wasn't required. So the pokemon tackled the rock again, wondering if it had given up. Was this bug that wimpy, that it would pick a fight and then simply hide away after taking a single blow? They both waited after the second tackle landed, but the opponent only continued watching. The woman called to attack again, and so he did. The tackle landed once more, but this time he was faced with retaliation. The shuckle was absorbing the attack, and shot a wave of power from the damage he'd taken, and doubled it. The force rushed at the furfrou, his coat providing important coverage to keep the attack from being as devastating as it could have been.

With that done, the human called again and the canine moved to attack one more. The tackle caused the rock to continue rolling, but this time the pokemon came out of hiding. The limbs stretched out again, reaching to wrap around the furfrou and give him a good squeeze. He scoffed. It was a weak attack, and he would not be defeated by the likes of this. Before releasing this time though, it squeezed a second time, the desperate shuckle trying to inflict as much damage as possible without wearing herself down so much. She didn't want to use up all her energy and be unable to continue attacking unless she was sure it would take him down.

As it was, she couldn't deal any good damage anymore without risking injury to herself from pushing it. The furfrou tackled the bug at command once again, only to be met with another restricting squeeze. And with a final tackle, the dog panting from having had to attack so many times, the shuckle finally seemed done. The limps moved weakly, starting to stretch. But then, they fell to the ground, the head slowly lowering as she started to lose consciousness, fainting from the pain of all the attacks. Throwing his head in the air in victory, he turned and returned to Shae's side. "Great job! You were wonderful in that battle. Now let's get you home and cleaned up."

The rest of their walk went without interruption. They returned to the home they were staying at that week, a pair of kind souls letting her stay while she did some housework and helped watch their daughter. She went immediately to the bath, as promised, and started to bathe the furfrou, carefully running the water through his fur and making sure to get all the sticky webbing out. That was more than enough excitement for the day, and it was hardly past morning!

Man, I love that furfrou.

Furfrou gains a level and learns Baby-Doll Eyes. Bri gains a level. Jaq gains a level. I already bumped Pichu up to level 2 at some point, so that's done. And I gave Pom her name, officially. Please poke me if I forgot anything~

p.s. Even though I know it would be totally hectic to have all of the Pokemon out in a single thread like this, I always find that I miss the Pokemon that aren't featured. xD I guess I just love all of her Pokemon so much!
