Welcome

Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new world, and give it purpose.

Events

Terrene continues to heat
up, both in temperature and in conflict. Beta is asking for spies to infiltrate Omega's camp, while Dentelle simply wants to inquire after the scientist's progress. Later in the season, Beta is hosting his annual crater city tournament, where people can test their Pokemon and their leadership and strategies against one another.

Season

Summer will be here until
September. The heat of summer is here in full force, as well as the accompanying summer thunderstorms. Bug, electric, and fire types all thrive while others wilt under these conditions.

Ivan:

It had been hot and muggy for the past few days. Ivan and his pokemon were feeling a bit sluggish from training in the heat, despite staying fed and hydrated. Fortunately for them it was a windy day. Dark clouds filled the sky and by the looks of it it was likely going to rain. Since things were a bit cooler out, Ivan saw this as a good opportunity to train.

Sitting on a hill, Grimm floated near the man. He was looking out toward the horizon while his pokemon played in the field. It was only really Makuhita and Electrike. They were training together and having a good time. It was Rattata who saw no point in being out there unless it was necessary. She sat by Ivan and Grimm, watching the others goof off.

As time passed by, the group could feel droplets of water raining down. It was light at the moment but it could start raining heavy soon. It didn’t bother the man. He even laid back in the grass looking up at the sky. So what if he got a little wet. It had been so hot lately that they all could use a little rain. Rattata, however didn’t seem to be a fan of the weather. She tried to curl up under Ivan but he was so heavy.

When it began thundering, electrike couldn’t help but watch the sky. She wished that she could generate electricity the same way. She wanted to light up the dark and roar like the sky. As a loud crackle ripped through the sky, the pup howled. She loved thunderstorms.

Makuhita didn’t understand why it thundered. Was there a giant pokemon in the sky that was using its power to intimidate others? She wanted to be that powerful. The fighter noticed how frightened the rattata was as she cowarded beside the human. She giggled at the sight of this. Nothing scared her and she would punch this thunder god in the face.

Ivan:
CONTENT WARNING(i guess)

It wasn’t safe for a young mareep to be all alone in the lion’s plains. Predators were always lurking and it wouldn’t be long before the sheep became something’s meal. For some odd reason this particular wooled creature had been separated from his herd. Even so, he felt a strange magnetic pull to this area. Not too far from where Ivan was relaxing with his pokemon. The mareep bleated loudly, hoping to get the attention of his mother or father. Little did he know, this would attract the attention of potential predators.

Feeling the same magnetic pull, electrike looked out into the distance. It was a strange feeling that beckoned her in that direction. She pointed her nose forward and barked. Ivan sat up to see what she was going on about. The electrike began heading off toward the pull. Curious, the man stood up and followed after her. The rest of his pokemon moved with him to keep pace. Makuhita and Grimm weren’t really in a rush but they still went along. It was rattata that was walking beside the man. It didn’t take the trainer long before he realized where the pup was heading. Spotting the lonely mareep up ahead, Ivan stopped in his tracks. The rest of his pokemon stopped with him as electrike continued running ahead aiming to take down the mareep. It was a good source of meat and she often hunted smaller creatures. Something of her size would surely stuff her and she could share if the others wanted. Though, she never saw the makuhita eat another pokemon.

Bleating now in terror, the sheep attempted to turn and run until the electrike pounced, landing on the mareep's side. Knocking over the sheep, the pup tumbled onto the ground with it. Getting back onto his feet, the mareep tackled the electrike away. Ivan and his pokemon watched as the wooly pokemon tried to fight for his life.

Electrike charged in, trying to thunder wave but the sheep was unaffected by the static. The sheep growled, hoping to intimidate the wolf away but it didn't bother her. Electrike returned a tackle to the sheep, in an effort to knock it down. As the sheep stumbled in the mud, he took another direct tackle to the side. This time he felt too weak to pick himself up.

This was his nightmare, getting lost and being found by a predator. It was pretty reasonable that this would also be his parents fear. Unfortunately they weren't around to protect him and being helpless in the mud was surely not how he saw his life going. Electrike charged in with her jaws open, digging her fangs into the mareep's neck and clamping down.

Ivan have a grin from ear to ear in pride of his pup. He lead the rest of his team down the hill to where the baby mareep was having his throat ripped out. The electrike was making sure that the sheep was completely lifeless before she dug in to begin eating. Tearing at the flesh of the baby, not even the rain could wash away the blood so quickly from her face. It was so satisfying to be be eating something other than tiny rodents or berries.

The pup turned to face the rest of her team with her tongue hanging out with glee. She was so proud of herself, anytime she got a kill and was able to fill her belly but she hated to waste food. She barked for the others to join her but it wasn't exactly to their liking. Makuhita was a little grossed out but it was survival of the fittest out here so she wasn't too upset by the sight. She preferred fruits and vegetables. Fish even, if she really needed to kill for food.

Grimm and Ivan were about the only ones who were enjoying the sight. The trainer, just glad to see that his pokemon was becoming stronger and the ghost cackling at the situation of a lost baby facing the reality of nature. With that, the rain was beginning to slow down but it had fortunately filled the stream nearby. Ivan thought it would be a good idea to have his pokemon get some water before heading back to the city. There could also be some interesting pokemon to encounter along the way.

Makuhita was mostly concerned with finding something she could train against and Rattata wouldn't mind finding a meal of her own. Perhaps an insect of some kind. If not, then she'd have to just forage for berries which would be difficult to sniff out with the rain having just happened. Grimm didn't care what they did next. He just wanted to continue seeing torture and pain. Whatever they came across he hoped he'd get to have a little fun himself.

As the team gathered together to make it down the stream, they found pokemon diving into the water or running away. None wanted to deal with the ghost or human. Perhaps it was for the best that some didn't bother as his team was not invincible. There were pokemon that could surely destroy them. It wasn't as if the duskull wouldn't invite the attempt.

Finding what seemed like an undisturbed area, Ivan allowed his pokemon to begin taking their sips. Electrike was the first to drink as she was mostly trying to wash down the meat and blood. Also she was a bit parched from that small scuffle. Makuhita reached in with her hands to scoop up some water as the demon rat sipped away at the stream. For now, nothing seemed to be lurking.

Ivan often faced troubles when coming to get water, even if there were occasions where he'd have an undisturbed time. He hoped this would be one of them. Not that he was afraid of danger but it would be nice to not almost get killed by an overpowered wishiwashi. Grimm watched in bored as nothing was happening for now.

Ivan:

As time passed no one was expecting a strange bug to come buzzing over to the water. It didn't seem to care about the human or his pokemon. She was just trying to get a drink and they didn't seem so harmful, right? She was likely screwing herself over as she hovering over the stream and began to sipping at the water.

The team watched in confusion as the bug made no effort to acknowledge them. Normally, electrike would love the opportunity to catch this bug and eat her but she already had her fill. The yellow fighter didn't care to use it as a practice dummy since insects were so fragile. It wouldn't be a challenge. This would be the perfect meal for rattata however.

While the bug was focused on drinking, this was the perfect chance to strike. The demon readied her legs to spring forward toward the yanma. The dragonfly noticed immediately that the rattata was getting ready to pounce as she floated up and out of reach.

"Bzzt, you think I'm not watching you fools?!" the insect screamed

The demon looked up at the bug in anger. "You weren't even facing us!" she screamed.

"I see everything!" the bug replied, not exactly being clear on what she meant by that.

The yanma surely wasn't even in the line of sight to spot any of their movements. At least this is what they thought. Rattata was greatly offended but didn't feel like putting in the effort to reach for the bug. She was pretty sure that the bug was going to zip off any second now, anyway.

Ivan couldn't help but chuckle lightly at the situation. There was always next time but it was cute that the rodent thought she could sneak up on the insect so easily. Grimm was cackling out loud. He enjoyed a good failure as much as pain and torture. The fact that the rat has no chance of reaching the bug and having it completely mock her was brilliant. "What are you laughing at air bag?" the yanma chirped at the duskull.

The laughter ceased as the glowing red eye locked onto the bug. Did this thing just insult him? Grimm floated up to the bug and looked at her directly in the face. "You wanna say that again?" he coughed.

The bug didn't seem to be intimidated one bit. "Yeah I said-" before she could continue, the duskull roared in her face as a means to put fear into her. She didn't even flinch as she waited for an opportunity to speak again. "I ain't scared of no ghost," she continued.

Grimm watched in confusion as the rest of his team laughed at him from down below. The ghost cringed at their reaction and wished he was down their right now showing them who was in charge around here. The ghost spoke in a more intimidating voice. "I guess I'll just have to put the fear in you then," he cooed.

The duskull attempted to make the first move but instead the bug tackled him directly. He flew backward in confusion. Was this bug actually able to touch him? How? Ivan watched curiously. It was impressive that the insect was able to use a tackle against the ghost. Did it have some unique ability? He almost wanted the bug for himself just on its lack of fear alone.

"You were saying?" the yanma replied.

Grimm narrowed his focus again as he regained his composure, firing off a dark pulse at the insect. The yanma tried to zip out of the way but the wave hit her, sending her falling toward the water. She was going to be no use to Ivan if she was dead. The trainer pulled out his pokeball in an effort to toss it and capture her. But as the ball flew through the air, a strange blue blur popped out of the water and smacked the ball away with its tail. The pokeball landed in front of the trainer as he picked it up immediately.

Everyone watched as a strange slippery looking blob of a pokemon revealed itself from the stream. As the yanma got close to the stream she regained consciousness and attempted to fly off. Unfortunately for her the wooper that saved her life was also the one to end her. The slimy water type hopped up with his mouth wide open and chomped down on the yanma, pulling her into the water.

Ivan had to chuckle at the amount of irony that kept happening. This was beautiful. The pokemon that he was going to catch was eaten by another pokemon that was likely better for capture. Now he had to go for this one and he wasn't going to head home till he caught it or killed it.

Grimm watched from above as the bug was mashed into goo. "That's what you deserve, insect," he croaked. The ghost floated down to where Ivan was to see what he was going to do next. The man fiddled with the pokeball in his hands, wondering how to go about this. Normally he'd make an attempt to earn the pokemon's trust but today he wasn't in the mood.

The man looked walked over to his makuhita was had been itching for a fight. "Go on, it's all yours," he said to her, placing his hand on her shoulder. The fighter wasn't exactly sure what he was saying but as he pointed to the water type chowing down on its meal, she got a pretty good idea. She was going to punch that thing square in the face and see how quickly it would crumble.

Stretching her limbs before dashing off, the makuhita was prepared for this to be a quick fight. What she didn't expect was an immediate attack from the wooper. As she charged forward with her fist cocked back, the water type quickly turned and sprayed some kind of burning liquid at her. It immediately began to burn her fist as she screamed in pain. Acid was eating away at her flesh and she didn't know what to do. Ivan quickly ran over and helped the makuhita to the water where he could wash off the liquid from the fighter's fist.

"Now that's interesting," he said with a smirk on his face.

Ivan:

While Makuhita attempted soothing her hand in the water, Ivan remained with her to make sure she was okay. He looked at the rest of his pokemon with anger. "One of you get that creature," he ordered, pointing to it. The team was confused as to what he was saying. They were used to seeing him display much emotion. He showed when he was pleased with them but they couldn't recall a time where he looked as if he wanted to kill something, even if he had totally killed pokemon before. But the expression never showed on his face.

The electrike lowered her ears as she backed off. She didn't want to get sprayed with acid and the rattata was a little bitter about not having her meal, so she wasn't in the mood to fight. Grimm was pleased with this expressive side to Ivan. Seeing him angry gave the ghost the urge to step up and fight the wooper for him. As long he had murderous intentions, the duskull wanted to be apart of that.

"Well it seems as if you're going to have to join us or die," Grimm blurted out as he approached the wooper.

The water type was so distracted with almost being attacked by the fighting type that she didn't even hear a word the duskull said. She turned to look at him with a curious head tilt. "Did you say something?" she chirped.

"I said, it seems as if-" he stopped with the lack of energy to repeat himself. "Nevermind, I'm just going to destroy you!"

The wooper shrieked feeling offended. "Why is everything trying to attack me?" The slippery blob fired off a water gun at the ghost, hoping to disrupt its form.

Grimm floated to the side, dodging the stream as he tried to hit the wooper with a dark pulse. The fish dove underwater to dodge and flee. The duskull was not going to let this creature slip through his fingers. He floated off chasing after the fish, trying to keep up with it. The wooper turned upside down in the water and shot another water gun at Grimm. It was difficult for her to keep this up while swimming but she didn't want to be killed by a ghost.

The duskull also didn't have a lot of energy to keep attacking. He was going to have to play other tricks to take this thing down. He began using his night shade in an effort to paralyze the fish with fear. Suddenly the wooper stopped swimming as she floated in the water.

While from another's perspective she was just floating there, the wooper was seeing the water all dried up. The land was nothing but rock and sand. The sun was beaming down with intense heat as she began to dry up to a crisp. "No, it's so hot. I can't live like this," she cried.

The ghost chuckled. He had her right where he wanted her. As he approached her to finish her off, the fish quickly snapped out of it. She turned to the ghost and opened her mouth to fire off another spray of acid. The burning liquid splashed onto Grimm's skull mask. He didn't feel a thing but his form felt like it was being disrupted. "You idiot!" he shouted as he dunked into the water to wash off the acid.

Ivan and his pokemon caught up with Grimm and the wooper finally. Makuhita was holding her hand close to her chest, with a look of agonizing pain. She was holding it in as best she could, wanting to remain tough. She couldn't let the others know she wanted to cry. It was embarassing enough that she shrieked in pain.

Electrike seemed to be the only one of the pokemon who seemed to be concerned for the makuhita. The two were closer than the rest since the demon and ghost weren't exactly easy to get along with. They enjoyed training together ever since that trip into the rolling mountains. The wolf pup attempted to lick the fighters wound but she pushed her away.

"I'm fine!" makuhita said, raising her voice. The pup was hurt by the action but understood. For now she'd stay back and give the makuhita some space to regain her pride.

For now Ivan was stomping over to where duskull and the wooper was. The fish was shaking off the illusion when she saw the group coming close. She turned to swim away but at the speed she was going she rammed head first into a rock that was in the middle of the stream. She lost her composure as everything around her began to spin. She fell unconscious as she floated backward into the water.

Carrying her out was Grimm, floating into the air holding the wooper by her tail. His mask slightly damaged from the acid. Tossing the fish in front of Ivan he waited to see what the man would do with her. She could be useful for the team but the way the encounter had went, she'd likely be a pain in his ass.

There was also the possibility of just killing her for revenge. That would greatly satisfy the ghost. Perhaps she could be used as food? Whatever they chose to do with the wooper, he'd just deal with it. For now he was mostly concerned about his mask. Ivan stood there looking down on the wooper, wondering what to do.

Makuhita glared at the fish, wanting to punch a hole through her head but she was in took much pain. Electrike felt bad and kind of hoped the fish got away but things rarely did when it came to the human and his team. Rattata could care less what they did. She just turned to pick some of tiny pebbles that got in between her toes.

Ivan pulled out his pokeball and expanded it to full size. So what if the creature didn't like him. She was going to have to work to make up for the amount of damage she had put on his team. Scarring his beautiful fighter and melting the mask of the ghost. "You're either mine or dead," he whispered as he tossed the ball at the unconscious wooper.

@Shasyu

capture attempt!
This adventure is gold. And I'm not just saying that because Grimm got acid spray to the face. Anyway! Unconcious wooper with a pokeball is a 50% chance - RNG says... 49! Whew, that's a fighter fish! Wooper will start with 4% loyalty.
