If you're in the paths that are Chilling Cliffs, people may not expect you to return. While the winds whip and gusts are powerful enough to blow away an adult or at least all of your belongings, and the ground rocky, this isn't where Chilling Cliffs' story ends.
In the uneven ground where trees grow at strange angles and life struggles to survive, humans have known about this place enough for infamy to begin. Slowly but surely, newcomers from the portal would show up dazed and confused with a single difference between them and enthusiastic onlooker; their memories stayed firmly rooted. A man could remember his children and how they were ripped away in the old universe, and plagued by the loss of his family and anyone that could've still been saved, the thought of "why me, why did I survive when they didn't" oozed like ink in blood. This was a story repeated again and again, while some people went on to start new lives others did not see the will to live in this new universe.
People have jumped to a grave in the rocks below, some leaving messages in the rock that serve as last words and with the difficulty that is getting to the rock no one has been able to put any feel good messages in the stone to coerce people from their leap. Some folks say so much sadness has taken root here that it's become haunted but isn't it best to see for yourself?
Pokemon commonly found in this rugged terrain are Dark, Fighting, Ghost, Ice (especially during Winter) and Normal.
Uncommon encounters generally consist of those not always keen on the rocky road, which are usually Bug, Flying, Psychic and Steel types.
A rare encounter would classify as meeting a Dragon, Electric, Fairy, Grass or Poison type Pokemon. However, Fire and Water Pokemon have never been found here.
