Welcome

Our old universe has
fallen into impossible chaos and destruction, but the Legendaries will save us; are saving us; have saved us. Soon many lives and memories will fill this new world, and give it purpose.

Events

As Terrene leaves behind
the long, dark nights, their minds turn to friendship and romance at the second annual speed dating! And don't miss out on the clover hunt or the poetry season. Our plot event, alpha & omega, is drawing closer to its end, but is still going strong for now.

Season

Spring will be here until
June. The rainy season begins in the tropical areas; the rest of Terrene begins to thaw and warm, shaking the chill of winter and creeping toward the heat of summer. Fairy and grass types relish in the season of rebirth and renewal!

Fleta Nell Knox
22 - Female - Bisexual
Appearance
Fleta is certainly an individual who dresses up in a strange manner. Aspiring to be like an hex maniac in appearance, those who see her can see she is somewhat "off." Her outfit consists of a white, buttoned up blouse with unique billowing sleeves, a flowing black skirt, a black capelet worn over the blouse with white lacing, dark stockings, and a pair of black mary-janes. Her hair is kept short, with a small asymmetrical ponytail on one side tied up with a red or white ribbon. The reason of her dark hair being short is because of her occupation in the mines, where the caves’ depths grow hotter as you decent into the region’s crust. Her wish is to keep it long and flowy like the rest of her “oddball” friends, but due to her parent’s wishes, she decided to keep it neat and short for the sake of her occupation.

Her height is unfortunately short, 4’8” to be exact but she likes to call herself a “dwarf” even if they don’t exist in the Pokemon world. Yet, due to her field of work she’s built somewhat stocky as if she was an actual dwarf that used to mine and cast magic in stories. Not that she is actually one to begin with, Fleta is just an average human with height issues with no real “dwarven” magic and skills.

Her eyes are light brown with a slight ruddy tinge, looking eerie as she stares upon people in silence. Their expressions are placid whenever met with a stranger, judging upon them before she feels the need to continue on talking to them or not. When she’s not with a stranger, she’s blissfully smiling, or blankly looking out – which is the default expression for the young woman. She prefers to keep a hat on her head at most times, trying to press down the messy, frizzy, untamable hair she has. In her hand, she usually carries a brown leather suitcase, holding her cherished items such as a pocket watch, shiny and tumbled stones of varying colors, a worn journal filled with poems and quotes, and a deck of tarot cards worn with years of use. When the weather around her is warm outside, she takes off her capelet and sticks it into her suitcase until when it becomes colder.

She wishes to have more clothes someday, since she enjoys finding unique clothing that make her stand out from the crowd. Not that she likes drawing attention, but it seemed the types of outfits she likes to choose tend to be on the weird side that may be abnormal to some. Despite her odd taste in clothing, Fleta will wear whatever that seems comfortable or pretty just for looks.

Personality
When someone meets a person like Fleta, they could say she is a bit capricious in her personality. Sometimes you will see a calm person who enjoys sitting around and meditating under the shade of trees. Sometimes, you will see a violent woman in a fit of rage trying to kick down some stranger’s door. Whatever you will end up with, people will say she’s quite unpredictable that it’s worrisome. These emotions of hers aren’t well controlled, due to the crippling loneliness she had in the suffering universe and all the self-monologuing she had during her time. If anything, you can say she has become unstable after who knows how many years she had lived in the suffering universe – almost as if the “chaos” itself had rotted her sanity away.

She does enjoy company despite this, and is always looking out for someone who may enjoy the same hobbies as she does. Loving to delve into the occult, this is how she manages to cope with her emotional problems. She enjoys meditating, bringing inner peace to herself at any given moment when she feels the need to. You can find her meditating in pretty places, usually in a forest or on a cool rock, since Fleta enjoyed being around different kinds of plants since that’s what she loved to take care of back when her home was still able to grow plants properly. In her youth, she used to keep a book on herbology and studied them thoroughly until she knew the different herbs by heart.

During the times when she feels the need to hang around a city or a town, she will set up a little “stand” which is really just her suitcase being used as a makeshift table while her cherished cards are set out. This is just a reason to get to know the people who happen to stumble upon her stand, and her readings are always free because of that – but that never stops a kind tipper every now and then. Approaching people without her little reading stand gets to be a bit awkward to her, but she manages to get by them even if nervousness and suspicion rises and annoys her to death. Fleta isn’t too sure why she feels this way after her memories are wiped upon the arrival to Terrene, but she doesn’t question it too much and go with the flow.

There is a side of this woman that people do have to be wary about. A far more disturbing side does lurk under her usual oddball persona, unexplainable but rumors have it that she hasn’t always been that way before she had left her home a bit on a little journey with her friends. Just don’t catch her on her worst days, especially when she had bumped into the wrong people who decided to treat her terribly.

When she is dropped at Terrene for the first time, she won’t be able to remember her name and will usually avoid answering when asked. She won’t mind nicknames though, thinking names aren’t really important unless it’s for an important sign-up for like a job. Fleta will also forget most things except for her occult based hobbies and herbology, like pokemon in general (which one would surprise her like as if she was seeing something new for the first time), her past with her family and friends, and crucial items. She will be asking a lot of questions, sadly - or she might just make up names as she went when she did not have a person to answer things for her.

History
Born to a family of miners based in Kalos, Fleta was hoped to be a son by her father but reveled anyways for his newborn daughter instead. Her family worked to dig deep into massive caverns, finding different stones like evolutionary stones to jewels that could be shipped to different parts of the world. The corruption was slowly warping the lands around them, which was something Fleta was used to since it was just part of her childhood. During her teen years, she began to delve into the occult once she had met a group of would-be hex maniacs and fairy girls that became friends with her when all the world around them became warped in a slow manner. It was her way of distracting herself from the problems, even if she tried to act like it wasn’t really anything too big of a deal.

Sustaining life became difficult in time, watching some plants wilt under the strange sunlight that did whatever if felt like on a daily basis. Food was becoming scarce while the eldest people of her town began to move to other places in hopes that they could be saved. Fleta became reddened with depression, seeing that being forced into the mines for her family who now can’t properly feed themselves, she felt trapped and wanted a way out. Her oddball friends found her often in a stoic state of mind – almost like she was remotely controlled by something else and answered cheerfully despite her crippling emotions that felt like a void. They decided that Fleta needed a short trip around the world to see all the sights that could be filled with ghost types or something completely new.

Surely Fleta was excited, since a change of scene would be great to see other than dying plants and people moving away due to the terrible conditions. Yet her family, did not approve of this idea. The other regions could be in equal danger as well since they did not know what was causing these changes upon their town and the other cities around them. Even with their pleas, the younger Fleta fled home when the family was back down in the mines to farm some remaining stones in their veins.

Like what her family has told her, it did seem like the regions she had traveled to was also going under some strange changes. She had seen the old Bell Tower, the Pokemon Tower with a lack of ghosts, and other places just to see if any places were untouched by the chaos that was rending reality apart. The group of oddballs managed to end up in a home abandoned, defeated that they couldn’t see the wonders of the world without seeing destroyed rubble or some weird anomaly that already frightened or left their citizens deceased. Little did they know, the ramshackle house they decided to take refuge in was filled with ghost pokemon who decided to take advantage of their dejected selves, sending them into a nightmare to drain them out of energy in an attempt to stay alive.

Fleta did not know how long she had stayed in the nightmare, but it felt like an eternity of a deafening darkness with screams beyond imaginable. The visions she had seen was horrifying, too daunting to even speak. It felt like as the hours passed by, her head felt like it was going to spilt open. In intense pain, she did not know that she was sleeping through it all and only wanted to run from this even if her legs wouldn’t move in her dream. It felt like everything was going to end, until she woke up to see the house empty – her memory foggy as she saw some pieces of clothing left on the ground. It seemed like her friends have disappeared, and she realized she was alone.

Standing up in the ruins, she felt weak and tired but she felt the need to head back home to check on her family. What could have happened to them while she was gone? With determination, the lone woman headed back to her home with the remaining people left that still had transports running despite the worsening conditions of the world. Worry filled her heart, wondering if they were still alive and still chipping away at rock like they have been doing for decades. Like if she set foot into the village, she would hear the pickaxes hitting away in the distance and she would run to them in a happy family reunion.

Unfortunately, that was just mere fantasy, as the lone Fleta was truly alone – finding the rest of her town filled with corpses who seemed to have passed away a while ago. Whatever that came through the small mining town physically tore through every roof, building, and car that was parked on the street. Rubble was thrown about everywhere, and some have been crushed under them with no hope of escape. Without knowing what could have caused this, she felt a mix of emotions she never felt before. Kicking about and screaming, through tears streaming from her crimson gaze, she knew that it wouldn’t bring everyone back.

Days began to repeat themselves after a certain time had passed, when her sanity slipped away from her through the constant denial that plagued the lone woman daily. It was like a bubble of a videotape, being played and rewinded back a day just to be played again. Amongst the ashes of a broken down town, the hues of the world around her turned grey as if the color was just sapped away just like Fleta’s sanity did. If anyone sane had seen what she had done during that time before these rewinds happen, they would say she went truly insane after the loss of her hometown. Who could possibly blame her though? She couldn’t have known that being gone for a bit, and growing up during the corruption did make her think that her family would be alright in the end. They did say it was a short trip around the world, but how long was she stuck there in that haunted house in the middle of nowhere?
